Canadian, I have a set of Imagine X1T, very nice and capable pair of speakers for the price, the Americans absolutely love them, they are a second of of the NAD family and like most manufacturers of the time used mostly vifa drivers.
@@haycrossaudio5474 Yes the tweeter lookks like an vifa dt19d but the woofer is not like any vifa I have seen before, maybe a peerless but most likely an in house job considering the lack of any stickers or identifiers.
I'm still sporting those as my fronts in my home theater (7.1.4). Bought them in '99 and honestly haven't felt the need to upgrade yet. But I unfortunately couldn't get the satellites to match..
@@haycrossaudio5474 Yeah. just finished first part so looking forward to second one. I do appreciate the REW graphs too as I couldn't find any response curves and the likes (donut chart?)anywhere.. I do have a PDF of the original spec brochure though.. Might be a cool little upgrade project. Thanks.
Most of the time I use REW with a UMIK-2. All calibrated including the soundcard which sometimes gets ignored. I have a room treated for measurements to.

No doubtful with that value and first order. I don't know how the driver behaves yet so it might not have needed anything? I'm sure I'll be designing that in to the new Crossovers 🤔
This is absolutely fascinating. Can’t believe how high they’re playing the woofer. “Oh dear, that’s a bit naff” - literal LOL! 😂
The amount of bracing for such a small cabinet is impressive.
PSB are Canadian. Currently Part of Lenbrook who also own NAD, BluOS and MQA

@@MrCitizenKaned I'm sure the tweeter is Vifa. I recognise the motor structure and font on the text used. The woofer I'm not so sure.

PSB Passif are legends. Get yourself a pair.

What measurement software and mic do you use?

Can you please tell me what system you are using to take your measurements?

Can you mention the drivers manufacturers names when labeled or you just know from experience for us speaker geeks. 🤔
@@airtow6766 Tweeter is a Vifa driver. Not sure on the woofer? Possibly PSB own ?
Can someone tell me about the woofers? one of mines are blown and I'm looking to replace one or both:) thanks
@@noah2765 no idea who makes the woofers. Tweeters are Vifa units.
You could have done a little research about PSB and that model before shooting the video. Plenty of info available.
