Loving all these talks so helpful for everyone. HRT saved my life, I had severe PMDD and having a subclinical overactive thyroid I've always had symptoms of low estrogen since 30 but just lived with the symptoms the worst needing to wee loads especially at night, Suicidal thoughts days before my period and osteopenia at 35. I was first offered Antidepressants which I said NO to so had to pay to see Professor studd in the UK and this guy put me on transdermal estrogen and within 6 months everything was sunnier and 95% better. Estrogen for me makes even life's difficult times easier and I openly tell people that I'm on HRT and I'm 43 now.

22 minutes in and this is me - omg 😮 I am a shell of a person and just found out all hormones were very low and started hormone replacement. I can’t wait for the zing. 🤞

Amazing speaker! A lot of things resonates with me and mistakes I've done due to hormones lack! Thank you for realizing I was not the only one struggling and there was no one around to have an open conversation! I am on HRT now and its a whole new ballgame!

This resonates with me so much! Marcella's experience is happening over and over again to women out there. The talk is validating and informational. I look forward to checking out the directory of specialists.

“One of the greatest fears…” that you tried to share is a quote by Marianne Williamson. Thank you Kelly for your work and I’m fired up to share about the vital life saving info you and others generously share…we are not broken! 👏💪🔥
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,” Williamson writes in A Return to Love. “Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.”

This sounds like me 15 years ago. Had no idea these symptoms were related to peri menopause/menopause until several years ago. I’m now being told that I’m “too old” for HRT. What do those of us who are “casualties” of the WHI study do? We are still vibrant and want to live our best lives. Women going through these changes now have so much support and I’m very happy about that. But, what are the rest of us to do?

How important is titration in HRT and TRT for each woman? Individualized based on individual symptoms

Yes, go get your hormones back! 💪 But be prepared, my doctors were too scared to help me (54 ys.). I had to see 3 different doctors to finally be allowed to get body identical hormones! I feel so so much better now (9 months in)! See the podcasts of Dr Louise Newson and read the book of Prof dr Avrum Bluming. You must probably educate your doctors 😢. There is a new paper out (I think another WHI review called sth. like ".... for Women beyond 65". There is also a podcaster called "SIMPLE HORMONES" who i can recommend for his expertise... best wishes to you from all around the planet (Germany 🇩🇪)
