I love the idea of having a separate, quieter living area. I personally get super over stimulated when I'm around people for too long, so living in an open camping area would drive me insane. It might be a good future project to create some more quiet spaces for relaxing away from the noise of work. But the comment about it being harder to have access to people when you need their help is a fair criticism. If you can set up a non-urgent line of communication, like a discord server, that lets you be in contact while allowing personal distance, that might mitigate some issues
As someone who suffers from WAD (whiplash associated disorders) it is very relatable to have your brain in a quiet place at least a few times a day and sometimes more days in a row. Expecting introverts to be successful in an extroverted space is asking for trouble and simply isn’t fair. Would you demand that somebody who didn’t have legs walk upstairs? Of course not.
The way I understood the criticism is that the living in separate spaces recreates/enforces certain hierarchy structures (i.e. the separate living spaces are for people you live there year around) vs. it's being need based. I agree that this should be looked at critically, because solitude can be a basic human need. If it's good for the goose, it good for the gander. Good luck on finding the scammer, we had experience with this once and the Police actually did an investigation but suddenly they disappeared. The lucky part for us was we actually got the car so in the end we lost time and gained some grey hairs but financially we didn't suffer too much. We even met the scammers in real life when buying the car 😅
About the goats, they eat spikey bushes, provide milk, mostly friendly. One bad thing, they like to escape ! But you guys do not live the whole year on the land... So i think having animals is quite a challenge, but would be great for providing a food source and overall experience. For the next Q and A, would you consider having a small livestock farm in the future? And for the whole team, witch animals would they prefer to have in this kind of set up.
I believe the project is vegan/vegetarian, so having "livestock" would be against their ideals. Though I'm not entirely sure if they are officially veg*n.
@@thewiseturtle Yeah, i know they are partly vegan/vegetarian, thats why i am eager to know how they think about it. I do believe that the best way of living could be self sustainable, that includes animals for clearing grass, bushes, wool, leather and even a source of food. Also the space they have is big enough to be a fully free roaming area, any type of animal that gets to live there would be lucky.
About the merch, FINALLY someone that did what I've been thinking for years. I don't want your tshirts, I already have them. I try the "refuse" method, but this mostly gets ignored.
Goats are good to keep the land tight and you don’t have to be constantly cutting bushes and grass. You can always speak to neighbours and they use your land where you need. Many farms do that when they have small pasture.
Anyone who has owned goats knows that getting them to eat what you want them to eat and stay where you want the to stay is, to put it mildly and with utmost respect, IMPOSSIBLE!! Stop suggesting goats unless you are willing to come herd them yourself!

I don't know if you know this. When you get your excavator there is an attachment for grinding and mulching trees. You can just grind all that stuff up and mulch it up. And with that attachment, if you find one that would fit the S the grater that you buy, you can literally mulch, grind all them briars all them. Momosa trees and everything, and instead of having to cut them down and cut 'em up into logs and all that, it's another ideal for your project camp
Need hydraulics that can handle a mulcher though, don't know if a 3-5 t machine could handle that... never seen any on anything smaller than 10T myself...

Yeah when I saw that the guy might be from Romania my heart sinked 😢 I dont blame anyone from Europe that calls us bad names because the evidence is there, whenever bad things happen we are there, makes me sad because normal Romanians are one of the most welcoming people imo, ah well, hope they manage to catch whoever is doing this

If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest that you pass along the information you found to the police. At least that way they can have it. In the previous video you said that the Irish police have someone looking into a case where they scammed someone there. If that's the case, then you might also call the local police in Ireland and find out the detective there working on that case and pass the information you found out to him or her so they can make use of it. In the latter case, you wouldn't be filing a complaint, but rather providing information to the police for their investigation. Hope this helps.
Based on the experience you had with these scammers, it might be worth it to do a reverse google search and see if the same photos show up before making a purchase. It is amazing how easy it is to get scammed on the internet and what a complicated web it is to try and find the source.
Goats for what?! For eating mimosa and spikey booshes! Maybe you could just borrow the goats? In the US, some people rent out their goats to people who want to use them to decimate the invasives
but goats eat everything, not only what you want them to eat. And they eat mimosa sprouts not the full blown trees. might not be a bad idea, im just sayng that it would require some fencing/herding , which is more effort/time on the kampers
For Spikey Booshes merch, you can put the image on some of your remade/fixed clothing to sell. It might be a nice twist in an effort to recycle old clothing.

And another thing...lol. I watch a RUclips channel called Mountain Maple Ranch. The owner made an attachment for his excavator with a recycled steel I-beam. He says it's the best tool he ever made. It cut down his road building and shaping time quite a bit. The name of the particular video is The Coolest Tool I ever Built. It's about a month old now. Great job y'all!
Thanks for bringing the human organisation/group management issues to camera ! Would love more insights on how you deal with the life as a community, like what are the rules? Are there different status ? And in general, what are the challenges, solutions that you try, etc... Keep up the good work, so inspiring
Maybe it's possible to have a chat with the RUclips channel Scammer Payback or a similar one. With the size of your channel, they might respond and offer some help or ideas on what to do.
Try to reach out to the embassies/consulates of the countries involved in Portugal to ask for the legal actions you should take or can take. They usually have law units which probably have more knowledge than most of us.
The refection in the digger window is unlikely to be the "Scammer" If the image came from another source it is more likely to be the original owner or someone hired to photograph the equipment for the original owner
It shocks me a bit that the dynamic between people is a bit more negative (compared to the seasons before). Of course could be because there are a lot of people. Hopefully all goes well. Be communicative with each other.

this is exactly what i thought from when they first learned it was a scam. But maybe it's not straight forward to get interpol involved? I would suspect that this falls under both cyber crime and organized crime. Perhaps it's a case of convincing the local police this is an international issue hat may require Interpol resources/databases? I dunno. I don't totally understand.
Dave’s incognito accent made my day 🤣
About the goats, they eat spikey bushes, provide milk, mostly friendly.
@@thewiseturtle
Yeah, i know they are partly vegan/vegetarian, thats why i am eager to know how they think about it.
I do believe that the best way of living could be self sustainable, that includes animals for clearing grass, bushes, wool, leather and even a source of food.
Also the space they have is big enough to be a fully free roaming area, any type of animal that gets to live there would be lucky.
Stay hydrated! That's some advice I can definitely support!
About the merch, FINALLY someone that did what I've been thinking for years. I don't want your tshirts, I already have them. I want the print, so I can let it get printed on a shirt that I already own or so that I can put it on the millions of tote bags that get gifted to me every single time.
Stop suggesting goats unless you are willing to come herd them yourself!
...totally agree - and they also eat Spikey stuff!
@@ananunez8374 have any of you who suggest goats ever HAD goats yourself?? My goats refused the brambles and were impossible to keep in. Total nuisance!!
@@Barbaralee1205 it depends the type. That’s why is always good to speak with neighbours, they know the best for their type of land.
@@ananunez8374 just checking … have you ever owned goats yourself??
Brilliant idea with the download of spikey booshes, well done!
James, happy to see you 😊 again hanging arround in project camp. Say hello to Kévin I miss him.
I really love this storytelling!
I remember last year starting to register on the site before remembering I'm just a programmer and not knowing what I'd even do there, but now seeing the very obvious scam in my trained eyes that would have definitely saved the project a painful 15k...
Spikey booshes drawing on a fixing fashion shirt would be a cool collaboration to create merch from old broken t-shirts
i really appreciate your conscience approach to merch, and not just adding to the fashion excess.
Should hire a phone tracker to know where they are exactly. This really sucks that you are dealing with this.
I suppose note to self....NEVER BUY SOMETHING THAT YOU CANNOT SEE IN PERSON AND NEVER DO THOSE HUGE SALES BY PHONE.
The world is FULL of crooked people. I know you've learned your lesson. Love your channel.
Omg spikey booshes!!! 🎉 Great way to do it, I know you’d not feel comfortable with the merch route, this is an awesome alternative. And thanks :D
YAY Spiky booshes merch!!!
Happy to be part of this community, even just the ones watching on youtube :)
Tell him that you are in Northern Ireland and will pick up the digger yourself and see what reaction you get. You have a subscriber that can go past his address
YES! I would volunteer to go.
Tell the truth and communicate, lovely answer to how we should live
I am so impressed by everyone here at Project Kamp. Thank you for your mindfulness and dedication to your mission. Cheers!
As a Romanian myself, I can confirm also the Romanian accent. but at the same time, I am sorry that some of our people are doing these types of things :(. So sorry from Romania guys. Still following this though !
Great video, guys! I really enjoyed it, well done to the video making team!
I've lived for years in Romania, and speak the language reasonably well. This looks very much like a Romanian, speaking English, yes.
Pity that a few crooks give the people a bad name. I can assure you that most Romanians are honest and very hospitable people. Hopefully they will be caught; Romanian prisons aren't really nice.
Yeah when I saw that the guy might be from Romania my heart sinked 😢 I dont blame anyone from Europe that calls us bad names because the evidence is there, whenever bad things happen we are there, makes me sad because normal Romanians are one of the most welcoming people imo, ah well, hope they manage to catch whoever is doing this
@@Darx97 Not a normal Romanian? Do you mean the crook is a Gypsy?
@@bolinfan1519 nah, meant normal people that dont do bad things, even tho gypsies contribute they not the only ones ruining the country reputation, actual romanians do bad things too, all countries have their bad apples
@@bolinfan1519 no, I think he meant " the average" Romanian, independent of ethnicity.
Julie is back! Yay!
Dave is the kind of guy who iniated rolling up one of the largest online scamming networks in Europe #youfkwiththewrongguy
Instead of calling the scammer you should notify the portuguese police that it must be the same scammer.
Well, that too, but the lack of official response is dispiriting. Honestly, this collective sleuthing may yield the best results up to - handing authorities the proof and hoping they follow through.
Love how the Video Team Made These one, ITS awesome ❤
Mandela effect: monopoly man never had a monocle. Minds blown! I personally remember the monocle, but look it up. Down the rabbit hole we go.
Love the update on the story!
Lovely to hear that X PK's are starting their own projects . It's a lovely evolution & bring it on !!
I love ALL Project Kamp videos!
So happy you got more than you already had . The way you live is amazing . If I was younger I’d join you. You encompass my views on how to try live .
I’ve noticed that there are a number of flies buzzing around in the video. I’m wondering how much the “poop palace” contributes to this and is there an overall health risk to the community. You have an open kitchen and no doubt the flies are landing on food . Thoughts?
You all are amazing ❤❤❤I just love want your doing with your camp and you all seem like such lovely humans! Always rooting for you and wish you all the best in future projects around camp❤❤❤
Climate Town did a great video on sustainable merch. That might be a win-win.
I love seeing the differences in the editing as new people arrive. Truly unique.
Thats def a Romanian I can tell from the accent and I’m from there too, I’m so sorry to hear that he might be from here, not the way I wanted to hear my country name in one of your videos but oh well, we doing it to ourselves sadly 😢
It's only a small percentage. Don't worry, intelligent people don't generalise. I've lived for years in Oradea, speak the language and encountered no more problems than in the Netherlands. We have these criminals as well, like every other country.
@@johnvanhal2450 thank you ♥️
Maybe you can call the local police and ask for advice - what projekt camp should do and if romanian police will help?
TYSM for answering my question about tattoos! ❤️🥰❤️
Spikey booshes? What a wonderful idea!
Good luck catching the digger scammer!
Great video, I love to see elements of the people stuff and people challenges because it’s something I just never could manage myself, and so I love to see people handling things I can’t imagine, it’s like watching and imagining a special magic power! You are all doing an amazing job, I am loving being able to watch and follow along with everything :D
It would add a lot to these videos if you could add timestamps to the Q&A section as well, even if it's just numbered
If you make it we add it :)
Thanks for posting and sharing. Nice to hear about all the updates.
Oh Mummy and Daddy away on holiday, maybe they scout for a new solution to the Digger problem and on return bring good news. Here is hoping!!
Great vibe from you all at PK! Love from the Netherlands ❤️
Romanian here. Romanian accent for sure, but minimal chance to find by mobile number, here you can buy prepaid sim without id.
I am so sorry you have to go through all this. Scamming is worldwide.
Absolutely, hope they do it, but doubt it
Based on the experience you had with these scammers, it might be worth it to do a reverse google search and see if the same photos show up before making a purchase.
@@inMuro You can put a collar and chain on a goat to limit them to the area you want.

For Spikey Booshes merch, you can put the image on some of your remade/fixed clothing to sell. It might be a nice twist in an effort to recycle old clothing.
Really good update, you two are such a good duo 😆
Stay hydrated!
Love it
Try to contact interpol and see what happens
hey I'm all the way from Canada, I really love your guys videos and I'm sorry to hear about the digger, I really wish I had enough money to help you all out, I love all the ideas you guys come up with to sort through each problem, you all are so creative!
37:03 incredible ending🎉🎉🎉 you could put in a pickleball court! The team did an outstanding job on this video 😊
Pasen más videos sobre cortes de mimosas! Me encanta ver lo q hacen con ella y los árboles nativos q encuentran!😊
Definitely sounds like a romanian (the scammer). It's such a shame, it's full of them here in Romania. I tried to lookup the phone number from your information (nowadays every phone number is assigned to an ID of a real person), but it's quite hard to find anything. Will keep on looking
Love the editing on this one. You guys get better with each video!!
Also very intresting development with the scammer.
Best tattoo? Dave: No tattoo?! LOL!! Totally agree!!
This episode became a Detective show😅😅
Thanks for bringing the human organisation/group management issues to camera ! Would love more insights on how you deal with the life as a community, like what are the rules? Are there different status ? And in general, what are the challenges, solutions that you try, etc... Keep up the good work, so inspiring
Please please please use an escrow service when you next buy something big and expensive, that's what they're for.
You can use a string curtain in the door so the flies won't enter.
Romania here. We have good police. Make contact with them.
Wow! What a heads up about buying online!
damn, u locate the scamer, W for u
