1. Jaws is the shit. 2. I appreciate the consensus on the show that treating other humans with respect is the way to be. 3. The Nine Club just keeps getting better.
I don't skate, I was brought to this podcast from searching Steve O. Then I stuck around for Bam, Tony Hawk and lil Wayne now I am watching all the other episodes. Man Chris is an amazing podcast host. Even though I don't know a thing about skating I still really enjoy watching because all the guys have great chemistry. I really hope they broaden out to interviewing other interesting people who potentially aren't skaters and hit that mainstream success like JRE. Keep of the amazing work.
Respect but I'd rather it stay strictly skateboarding because it's one of a kind and it's exactly what most ppl want. Maybe do another channel for any interesting person.
I'm glad that he talked about Lyon's 25 . That almost made me cry watching that! (I wish comments wouldn't be guest request.. I like being surprised ✌️)
Yeah I don't understand. There's a million requests on every video. I highly doubt they even take requests. I'm sure they will get everyone. Just wait and be patient
Man, I don't know why I waited to watch this... It was surprisingly good and that is not just because I am a Phoenix, AZ native. Love that Desert West got some mention!
This guy is legend. Doesn't get the respect he deserves. Think Hawk for vert, Mullen for street and Aaron for height/danger tricks. Balls of steel. That's his true nickname.
This shit here is what makes The Nine Club great!!! Great episode and charisma on everyone from hosts to guest is top notch! This crosses all barriers and boundaries....you don't have to skate to enjoy any of these. Thanks guys!!
Him describing his feeling after landing Lyon is so rad. Pro skaters, especially ones like jaws have something so special about them. Of course there is amazing talent and ability, but above all is their perseverance, attitude, and just pure love for skating. It takes a special person to take slams like these dudes do and still going back for more.
Watching these every Monday during my online class gets me so hyped to skate as soon as I'm free. Thank you to the Nine Club for keeping me in the streets
I love the interviews with my heroes, but it's also pretty cool listening to the pros around my age or a bit younger. Guessing on time, but it sounds like Jaws started skating a year or two after I did. He took his inspiration from Chalmers and Ali, I was into Bastien and Rowley. My first video was Sight Unseen though, so lots of Heath sprinkled in for me inspiration wise.
I remember seeing this episode on the day it aired and heard about the teeth incident at Hollywood High. When seeing KOTR half a year later with the incident go down in front of my face I instantly remembered this story on the show. To have this backstory of the event and to actually see it combined together is unreal, thanks for giving us such a great series Nine Club... Much love!
I don't skate but I'm a musician,I had no idea the the two artforms coincide big time,I'd love to collaborate with skaters and make music to their parts because the two help each other so much. The nine club are killing it and hearing the life stories of skates is so inspirstional, awesome!!
So badass, I grew up in Phoenix with him. I use to skate with him and his brother at pv skatepark and the high school down the street. Such good times I always thought his brother was gonna be the one to go pro.
Is it just me who thought his last name was Japanese at first? I saw that video where he jumps the 25 stair....couldn't believe how gnarly crazy sick he is! Major props, dude.
Nah the techno harp went hard 😂😂 so glad I'm working through all the old eps I never seen. *edit* this was commented moments before he talked about how he kneed his teeth back. Insane 🤯💀
Wait, that was Tony Hawk at the end. Can we address that? Amazing content as always absolutely appreciate all the hard work guys. Nothing better than listening to The Nine Club when sifting through footage and picking selects for my event edits.
as soon as i heard the harp the first thing i thought of was acid bass! no wonder techno induces trance, we've been listening to that shit since the beginning
Jaws is one of my favorite skaters eventually I’ll buy one of his birdhouse decks and I can’t see a reason personally to buy a birdhouse deck nowadays besides that
The harp took this show 2 another level
that was legit
so good
He makes a crazy acid Techno sound on it. A real talent.
1. Jaws is the shit. 2. I appreciate the consensus on the show that treating other humans with respect is the way to be. 3. The Nine Club just keeps getting better.
I was not expected a techno beatbox from Jaws
Well now I am.
jol

That mouth harp Techno he was playing actually had me feeling it. N i dont mess with techno.. damn..

50:54 what every young skater needs to hear. Just be nice

Keep of the amazing work.
You should watch some clips of Jaws. Dude is a beautiful maniac
It's Literslly a skate show many other podcasts exist for other topics but this one is literally a skate podcast.
I’m with you dude I love this host he has a video game channel too that’s awesome
Respect but I'd rather it stay strictly skateboarding because it's one of a kind and it's exactly what most ppl want. Maybe do another channel for any interesting person.

It doesn't ruin it but freaking annoying. It looks like those people would be more involved and engaging the show at the present.
The nine club is the best! I do the dishes every night cause my wife cooks. I just set the nine club up in the wIndow above the sink and take my time.
Do the same haha! Nothing like a podcast while washing dishes. You just zone and actually clean better haha
Same. Except I cook and clean.
I literally do the same haha👌
if you guys ever get gonz on here for at least 45 min, im down to cry
Jerry Hsu please. And thanks for this one
Good shout
No. Hes says like waaay too much
Naaa, get back to work.
Jacques Theron , lol 😂mxm
Your wish has been granted :D
Man, I don't know why I waited to watch this... It was surprisingly good and that is not just because I am a Phoenix, AZ native. Love that Desert West got some mention!
I used to see him at pv skatepark when he was younger
The 9 club is constantly stepping it up, it's truly great and i'm always happy to tune in, thanks for this
3 years later and Jaws’s youtube channel is absolutely what he said it would be. Respect.
Sooooooo crazy that ‘sorry’ was the first video he has seen and he was the one to finally clear Lyon. So much respect.
Thanks to Jaws and the Nine Club, I was able to realize that the mouth harp is prominently featured in Guttermouth's "I'm Destroying the World"!
Could listen to Jaws forever, so chill and what a nice guy!
Can we bring Jaws back for another episode? I would love to see you guys touch base with him again. He is such a genuinely nice guy!
2 minutes in and I'm already blown away
His Jaw harp skills are as gnarly as his skateboarding! Fuck yeah Jaws!
That should be the nine club theme song!
My favourite skater and I have only just discovered him. A genuinely nice guy and fearless and pure genius
Him describing his feeling after landing Lyon is so rad. Pro skaters, especially ones like jaws have something so special about them. Can't go 24 hours without needing to hear "WELLLLLLLLL"
We are back.
Back at the 9 club everyone 😅
Watching these every Monday during my online class gets me so hyped to skate as soon as I'm free. Thank you to the Nine Club for keeping me in the streets
That mouth harp techno was freaking hilarious and awesome
I love the interviews with my heroes, but it's also pretty cool listening to the pros around my age or a bit younger. Crob, you were amazing in Netflix's Manhunt: Unabomber!
Haha he was!
yeah Crob killed it!
was totally thinking this....HaHa
I thought I was the only one that saw that!!

Best self intro ever!
One of my personal fav skaters and you can tell he’s one of those guys you love to have in your skate crew.
Man, Jaws!! No way, he's a living legend, a big thank to the guys at the 9 Club for all your passion. You've made dreams come true
Chris roberts is always so chill and down to earth. And jaws being jaws as always.
Best way to spend a Monday night in New Zealand!
I was on a date a few night ago and while she was talking I had 1 earphone in my ear listening to the nine club. Had a great time.

Yes! Great episode! I would love to see Frankie Hill. The original big gap skater.
That'd be incredible
Tried to Heelflip El Toro 24 times???? Gnarly!!!! Jaws is a monster!!
Much love!
Tons of respect for this guy, goal-oriented skater. You’re the man, Jaws!
Another BANGER in true Nine Club fashion
I used to own one of those harps. And what he's doing is honestly amazing
They all smoked that joint he rolled when the cameras went off! LOL
Jaws is the man! His Lyon 25 was INSANE!!! Plus his pops was there when he landed it!
Right. That clip restarted my interest in skating as an adult
This was great first time I seen Jaws skate I was a fan, like the other guy said get Jerry Hsu. Keep up the good work.

So badass, I grew up in Phoenix with him. I use to skate with him and his brother at pv skatepark and the high school down the street. Such good times I always thought his brother was gonna be the one to go pro.

Chris: “Switch flip switch manny”
Got back on the board because of this channel. You guys are the shit. Inspirational af
Is it just me who thought his last name was Japanese at first? I saw that video where he jumps the 25 stair....couldn't believe how gnarly crazy sick he is! Major props, dude.
Another good one- very humble guy and unique too. Thanks nine club
An Erick Winkowski 9 club would be super rad.
Favorite skater right now!
When Jaws does the court house roof and the leap of faith he will become beyond Legendary... Like a Super Saiyan
Otniel Manary leap of faith is closed like unskateable now
Greatest stair set skater of all time. Shoutouts Jaws.
Best early Christmas present ever. Thanks!!
This was so good. A favorite for sure
rodney mullen, paul schmitt. ed templeton.....
skateboarders closet YES
We got Schmitt, still waiting on Rodney
Sometimes we doubt ourselves too much to try certain tricks. When he said maybe is yes there's actually some truth to that.
Bro ... i thought i loved Jaws then he played that instrument and now Im obsessed
Rad, humble, smiley kinda dude.
Wow, I love Kelly! Such a cool dude!
How about bringing Arto on the show?
Yeah we need Arto
Jaws sold that energy drink.. he even gave me some haha
Nah the techno harp went hard 😂😂 so glad I'm working through all the old eps I never seen.
*edit* this was commented moments before he talked about how he kneed his teeth back. Insane 🤯💀
i'm from the same generation of skaters age wise and Sorry was DEFINITELY the first video i saw also. Bought the Boulala shoes and everything.
25 stories were so good to hear . . Love the nine yo
This was an amazing episode. Began kind of cool, fun and funny, and then turned into a really motivational and inspirational story.
Wait, that was Tony Hawk at the end. Can we address that? Amazing content as always absolutely appreciate all the hard work guys. Nothing better than listening to The Nine Club when sifting through footage and picking selects for my event edits.
