I loved the progression of the video, it was timed perfectly with the song's bridge in that remarkable sequence where Kyon's urge to stop Haruhi from leaving has totally different consequences from the show's original timeline.

Well I have to say, I am officially impressed with how well this was put together, I started thinking that I had actually missed something in TMoHS, it just blends together so well.

For anyone curious, the graveyard scene at the start is from Evangelion. The maker of this amv changed both the name on the grave and the person standing next to it.
That would have been awesome if the the disappearance of haruhi was actually like this. It was good but this would have made it it epic. Tragic if haruhi died but would lead to a great dramatic story. Then kyon uses the time machine and saves haruhi.

This will always be my favorite MoHS-centric AMV. And MoHS is short for Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, before anyone asks. And this is actually the only AMV that's ever made me cry. Poor Kyon...

Actually, you didn't miss anything. This AMV is just amazingly well edited. Those are probably the graves from the new Evangilion movies
I love this amv, it seems like it has a story to it, in the very beginning it shows the end (haruhi is dead) and kyon starts remembering what happen. at 1:08 it shows how she went out and she got run over by a car, and then at 1:36 kyon goes back in time to see her again. then at 1:52 he runs to see if he went back in time enough to save her then at 2:09 the song says "dont let me go" which i can imagine kyon is saying, then haruki goes out and gets run over again. i love it *cry*

That would also explain why everyone in the SOS brigade is trying to win his trust. It's also possible that he's a slider and can move between dimensions without being affected by the change. That would explain so much. Like when young Haruhi was asking him about aliens, espers, time travelers, and sliders, he said he hadn't met a slider yet. In the movie, Haruhi mentions again that he could be a slider.

T^T that is so sad amv. I love it but ending is so emotion. It reminds me of mawaru penguindrum because guy wanted to save girl, and he gave her his life to save her life. Of course it reminds me of steins gate.

I think the graveyard scene was originally from evangelion....I'm pretty sure that's the same graveyard. They just changed the gravestone to say "Haruhi Suzumiya" and switched Shinji with Kyon...and I say "just" lightly. That's some impressive video editing.

It's a fan made AMV, edited to wonderfully that it tells a totally different story than the actual show. The guy who made this used multiple different Animes, not just The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.
The Haruhi series lacks a proper ending because it hasn't ended yet.
This AMV is great, however. First one that made me cry in a long time.

In a situation like that he/she is being strong.Also he/she is still expressing his/her emotions in that situation because it means he/she wants to protect that person more then they want to express there sadness.
What I mean is that people who hold all there emotions in and never express them in some way are weak and the ones who do are strong in my "Opinion"
