    The beginning of the Sonata produces in me images of a path to eternity under a moon shrouded in mist, "Nebelglanz", a melancholy path of memories of what has been lived. But the images that music produces is a complex matter. In my case, I think the name given to the Sonata has an influence, and that I heard it after my father's funeral at a very young age.
