Just a quickie comment. The top gappers were indeed higher floats but higher floats do not matter nearly as much as volume and price. CCCC for instance traded 177M shares on day one and 225M on day two. This amount of volume makes the float irrelevant because the price and volume controlled the speed of the move. I firmly believe not trading these stocks is a mistake in your trading plan. There was many opportunities to trade CCCC both days.

Thanks for making this video Ross, a side of trading that needs more attention. I know hindsight is 20-20 but the first thing that jumped off the chart to me were all of the trapped traders /bagholders from July 21 (high volume day) who were going to exit at anything close to breakeven. Did you take this into consideration when you entered this trade ?

lol - Excellent ON/OFF switch @41:26 ... I wish I could share screens with you, I have observed something that I think you and many viewers would be interested in. I have been looking at TSF (Time Series Forecast ... Length=9 ; Bar+=7) when it crosses E9 or E20 preferably when E9 is on top but E20 on top is also ok. If you consider a Cartesian coordinate graph and only look at Quadrants 1 and 3, then Quadrant 3 shows a trend based "pre-reflection" of whats to come in Quadrant 1. This is not always true, but most of the time it is... there are reversals to watch out for so you still need to be cautious. My other requirements for an ideal setup is that TSF, E9, and E20 are above W200 and VWAP and that the "working candles" are under the hood or within TSF.... The 'starting candle in Quadrant 1 should be green with decent volume and a relatively small body. A towering body can "snap back" as you have seen. Also I look at the Delta between E9 and E20... as it grows larger with E9 on top that is good, if it get smaller by about 5% then that is a warning indicator for me to get out. I have this all scripted so it alerts me as possible "suggestions" .... Anyway as always, keep up the great information you provide

Thanks for a great video again. Seeing Ross take a loss now and then gives me confidence that it’s not just me who is getting trapped by these nasty flushes. I think we need to keep our eye on these and try to work out how to anticipate them. Probably not as easy as it sounds. QNRX has a history of flushing. Exactly the same thing happened 17/7, 18/7 and 24/10 - it's easy to find this out with hindsight. I am adding this one to my caution folder just in case it pops up again ;-)

Ross. Sorry to hear about that big loss you took. There was literately nothing you could do with that 10 second candle. That will very seldom happen that way, but when it does, it's catastrophic with large size. WOW, I just sounded like I know what I'm talking about. Cool. I'm still paper-trading from getting hung up on FOB-out 2 weeks. Still paper-trading every day to tweak & learn. I miss you going Live once per week for pre-market. You were my mentor for how to trade pre-market momentum/gappers safely and correctly. I hope you consider starting that again. As a newbie trying to grow a small account, I need that. Thanks for all you do for us.

    Hi Ross,
First of all I wanted to thank you for the amazing work you put on these videos, I have learned a lot and I feel im close to start having successful trades. At the moment though I have no significant progress, Im not losing but im not trading the bullish stocks I want to trade even after I have recognised the opportunity and put on a trading plan, my mind simply tells me off finding reasons like the % is too high, or what if it fails and things like that. I guess fear of loss is distorting my view as I have blown up my initial 50k account 3yrs ago. I would appreciate if you suggest how do we overcome fear of loss, trading plan on its own doesn’t seem to help. I look at the right stocks, I have my agenda, my plan, I built on consistency and yet fear is keeping me back. I hope I join your trading lessons soon. Thanks for listening :)

Thank you Ross for putting out the recent content you have been putting out. Truly appreciate for the traders down here trying to make just 100$ in a week. Some traders are so knew in there journey they can't even see a way to quit there jobs and to simply be able to buy groceries for there family. Thankfully through this channel and learning the 1 min pull back setup am now coming to the standpoint that I see myself quitting my job very soon Through being a part of Warrior Trading team. Thank you have changed my life and set me free through specifically the 1 min pullback strategy🙏 I try to tell my brother the only reason he cant make money is because he doesn't have a strategy with rigid criteria. Literally that's most traders that don't simply have strategy printed out with Stops, Targets and entry criteria with rigid rules and print it out!

Hey Ross , this is great to share . My take is when I’m in similar situation is not to go slower . The reason is this strategy has made you overall profitable so the problem is not that . Problem is when someone hits the max loss , don’t add more , shut down , walk away and that’s it .

This is the simple truth of trading, managing losses. Losses are gained back over days or weeks if you stick to the rules. It happens, but in grand scheme by your numbers you avg 6400$ a day profit 30k a week ain’t to shabby my friend. Thanks for the vids.

Hey Ross, my first year of trading has been one big drawdown (came out of sim too early) but in the last month something has clicked and I’ve upped my accuracy from 40-60% with 1:1 ratio and on course for my 1st green month.
How much consistency should I look at before scaling up?
Should I recoup 50% of year’s drawdown before I change my share size?

Accidents happen. If the risk is low and the chart is screaming free money you pick off the ground, then go back at it again. Avid traders know what i mean by that. But if you can’t get your head back in it without being emotional then step away. Go for a long walk, trust me it helps. But most of all, you will have a clear mind to go again the next market day. Simple.

Hello Ross. If 10k is your biggest loss in the whole year of trading, then I consider that as an exceptional achievement. In your case, with your track record, you could even relate it to your biggest loss ever (I think it was in 21 on GME where you lost 200k+) and laugh about this "little loss". Yes , 10 grant is more than pocket money. But in your case , I wouldn't worry too much about it. Keep up the good work, and still following you after so many years...

So 100% for me, now I have to walk away from it.... at least until I can honestly say that I am entering because it is a prefect time to enter a trade.... that I have extreme confidence in, where i pretty much know how the price moment will go, not one where I am hoping..

QNRX very interesting case study. This one probably was not an algo spike. The entire $3 jump was done in 60 seconds on just over 10k shares traded. This very well could have been just one, or a handful of traders trying to be the 1st to capitalize on a possible move up. The entire "flush" down happened on similar volume, but in half the time or just a crazy 30 seconds! This would be a very dangerous and extremely risky stock as you demonstrated. Your 4k shares controlled around 30% of stocks traded during that 30 second fall of $3 per share. Very risky to enter a trade on very little volume traded. I like at least 100k share volume on 1 minute candles. The really nice, solid safe entries are on 300k plus share volume on the 1 minute candles. What do you think?

Here's my comment BEFORE I watch the video. Just going by the title, here's my take:
Ross Cameron is, in fact, a world class loser. He's lost so much money day trading. Yet, he is consistently profitable and quite wealthy from trading, alone. All the while, he maintains respect and class as he continues his passion for teaching his methods to an increasing number of students.
    Happy Holidays, Ross!

I think you are being too hard on yourself! It was one trade that you had very little control of and you followed all your rules to a T. I know it is disappointing but you will probably have a similiar one trade next week in the other direction.

I'm only trading 4-500 right now but I'm pretty pleased with my results.
Thank you for your content. I'm binge watching through the older content. 😮

@@pilotnamealreadytaken6035 He has a lot of good class videos about different topics. I have watched a ton of his videos about trading and he is easy to understand and shows you the good and the bad which is important.

Recouping the loss amounts little by little has worked out in a completely great way for me all this year long.
