JimyLongs picks are absolutely the best in the business! Especially his handles, super comfy and good for fine control and feedback.

Great that you managed to make a perfect fit tensioner for the lock. Thanks for sharing!

Finding the perfect tensioner was 'key' for me if you'll excuse the pun! 😁🍺

Man I’ve been lucky to not brick a lock yet. Came close a time or two😂. Bound to happen. I have one of these but a lot smaller. And all plastic. A loto version from Brady. Funny enough you make this. Cause I couldn’t figure out how to tension. So thanks! I will now attempt to mod a tensioner and not brick my little loto😂. Great video!

Yeah, the notched tensioner really made the difference. I've been lucky in that all the locks I've bricked have been recoverable... with much persuasion in some cases! 😆🍺

Very interesting lock and using the Tubar style key and side bars. Now I need one 😆. Love that purple too.
Will be interesting to see how many people notice the 1100 you were showing see that you picked the core backwards or that happened when you picked it right and closed the lock up before locking the core up again. That snapping action acts as a plug spinner turning the core past the lock up point to the other side.
    Another excellent vid D 👏🏻🍻✌🏻🌶

That 1100 was a shackle close plug spin 👍🏻
I don't normally shop on Amazon but a birthday voucher sent me there and had to peruse the padlocks of course, where I found this lovely purple pad 😁🍺

I close my 1100s after picking without locking back up at least 50% of the time.

Now that is an interesting keyway, and 12 usd on Amazon I'm definitely going to check it out. Nice mod to the tensioner, it works really well.

Yeah, a unique one for the collection 😁👍🏻

In a way, it's more secure than a 410 (certainly from a picking perspective), because almost nobody will have the means to tension it, so very difficult to tamper with it non-destructively. Obviously it'd be easy to force; a set of Mole Grips and a big screwdriver would probably do it. Nice video mate.

Yeah I think a brute force would work, unless the plastic tailpiece snapped! Either way, a fun lock for the collection 👍🏻
