HIKING MY HOME MOUNTAINS - 3000m of ascent in a day !

- From my bedroom window I can see 3 summits : La Croix du Nivolet, La Galopaz, Le Mon Peney. Everyday I am wondering which of these I am gonna train at. But I always wanted to connect all three of them, but this is a quite long trail to do while running and that's not a really interesting one. But since I have my Bantam12 from Nova I have been waiting for a good day where I was available to try it.
I really love this kind of days with 3000m of ascent, enjoying fresh air as well as nature ! :)

What a great day and such fantastic flights! I bet those people on the summit were scratching their heads, thinking .... whaaaat?! :)
Yeah!! My favorite form of paragliding is hike and fly. Surprisingly, I van never get anyone in my flying club to join even a half an hour hike and fly (too much physical exertion!). Same thing with backcountry skiing and snowboarding: There's nothing better than to earn your turns. If you have become too weak to walk up a mountain with ease, but would rather have an automobile do that for you, you have already died. The risk lies entirely with being physically out of shape. THAT"S whats going to kill you! Rock on, Theo! You, Greg, and Jocky are the shit! If you don't know hike and fly thoroughly, I will never have the same respect for you overall as complete, rounded paraglider pilot, especially if I am supposed to look up to you as my instructor!
Most Paragliders won't take off if they think there'll be a walk back up 😁

One question here: are you carrying a reserve? I fly the Dudek V-King on hike and flys but still feel naked without a reserve but hate the extra weight.
