I really didn't know what I was doing so I had to jump in with both feet. Within a year I was printing the backlit signs for Pizza Time Theater and printing on vertical windows. You may not realize now how much you're helping others because you're just starting but you really are so keep it up. Screen printing has unlimited possabilites and you never stop learning.

I guess this happens to everyone lol. My press almost flipped cause I had not bolted mine down. Wait til you use white ink. That is harder to work with. I also bought the same printer and even on the highest setting I could not get a dark enough print. So I bought empty cartridges and Gorilla ink on EBay and now it is Super Super dark with only one print. Super dark. Works wonders now. Can’t wait to see you do the white ink. Good job and love the new look.

The way I can tell is lick or wet my thumb and index finger and touch one of the corners. The side that sticks is the side you want to print on. To get the darkest print select best photo for printing.
I always double up on my transparencies, works well when burning my screens. I never trusted just using one, doesn't seem black/dark enough. Bruh over here tripling down o his transparency. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! I love my Pixma iX6820. Prints real crispy. Great video my dude!

do a wash test specially when you print white ink. use more ink on screen try this flood / print / make sure you clear all the ink from screen... if you still see ink on the screen (clear it) a print with no flood) so the steps i use ....flood/print/Flash/Print/cure ...make sure to always mix the ink before you print .. when it comes to printing white go with a 110 , 125 don't go more than a 160 mesh. Do some test to see what you like best .
get refillable ink cartridges and change ink inside to all black. Make sure the new universal ink carts are empty before filling. Then change saturation on all the channels to all black. Printing two transparencies going to cost $$$

Atta boy! good job man. Your squeegee angle is important as well. The more you angle it the more ink you lay down on the print. Just something to keep in mind as on some meshes u may get bleed because of too much ink getting pushed through. Pretty sure that's it anyway lol happy for you man
I have the same printer... you need to print on the sticky side. recommend you get the refillable cartridges so you can add ink that blocks UV light. hit me up if you need help.
@@HeartHustlePrinting anything I can do to help hit me up bro. Use less expensive tape too.. the blue tape is pricy and it's starts to add up. Blue tape is more used to block your registration lines or wholes on the mesh.
The printers that you have there in the background do they not work with transparent paper? I’m trying to print on a epson but it won’t work for me. I’m not sure if I’m doing it wrong or if it’s my printer. Do you know if I need a special printer for transparent paper?

What mesh size were you using? For color you want to use a min of 180-230 mesh. Looks like your using water based inks. You have to keep the screen flooded or else the ink will dry up in the screen.

How did you manage to only print one transparency? I’m having trouble getting the black opaque enough on one sheet
All about getting the right settings.
Make sure you put setting on high when printing then it will get darker so you dont have to print 2

Try pushing if your press is too high for you and work on the angle of squeegee will get easier prints especially with white ink.

No most I did was a 3 color.. It not a good press for multo color designs.

Kit I got has Plastisol inks and 110 and 155 mesh.

does you press rock a bit at the base? I just bought a used shocker and it has a slight play. One of the arms hit the pallet arm.

Dont put tape or ANYTHING on the bottom side. You want 100% contact with whatever you're printing on.
