You remind me of me when I was young and starting out. There were no videos to watch then. I actually had to lie to get the job as the screen printer at a sign shop back in the 70's. I really didn't know what I was doing so I had to jump in with both feet. Within a year I was printing the backlit signs for Pizza Time Theater and printing on vertical windows. You may not realize now how much you're helping others because you're just starting but you really are so keep it up. Screen printing has unlimited possabilites and you never stop learning.

I guess this happens to everyone lol. My press almost flipped cause I had not bolted mine down. Wait til you use white ink. That is harder to work with. I also bought the same printer and even on the highest setting I could not get a dark enough print. So I bought empty cartridges and Gorilla ink on EBay and now it is Super Super dark with only one print. Super dark. Works wonders now. Can’t wait to see you do the white ink. Good job and love the new look.

Awesome video. I just also recently unboxed my new Canon Pixma ix6820. Incredible printer. I as well first had trouble figuring out which side of the film to print on since both sides almost felt the same and it was also my first time using screen printing film. Got tired of going to office depot to print on tracing paper that I used as film. Horrible paper and not dark enough. Glad I was able to get a new wide format printer to print actual screen printing film.

The way I can tell is lick or wet my thumb and index finger and touch one of the corners. The side that sticks is the side you want to print on. To get the darkest print select best photo for printing.

do a wash test specially when you print white ink. use more ink on screen try this flood / print / make sure you clear all the ink from screen... if you still see ink on the screen (clear it) a print with no flood) so the steps i use ....flood/print/Flash/Print/cure ...make sure to always mix the ink before you print .. when it comes to printing white go with a 110 , 125 don't go more than a 160 mesh. Do some test to see what you like best .

get refillable ink cartridges and change ink inside to all black. Make sure the new universal ink carts are empty before filling. Then change saturation on all the channels to all black. Printing two transparencies going to cost $$$

This will work with all inks. On darker garments you might need to apply a underbase. Currently shooting a video with a underbase. Subscribe and click bell so you will be notified when i put it out... Thanks for watching Ree Ray....

Dont put tape or ANYTHING on the bottom side. You want 100% contact with whatever you're printing on.
