    I’m so excited for you to upload more! love your tiktok, as a teenager, teens are willing to do so many things to look like what they see, I guess in the real world that’s just not possible, it’s unrealistic, I’m super guilty of this and you’ve really helped busting all the rubbish and really just kick starting my love for studying nutrition! thank you so much Leanne! ❤️

    I think calorie tracking and weighing your food to understand how many calories an amount of food is important. It's good to understand what it means to "eat healthy". Word of mouth is not enough to understand the correlation between serving size and calories. Most people cant understand how much 1 serving size is of a food to know if they are eating too much if it.

    • @LeanneWardNutrition
      @LeanneWardNutrition  3 года назад +1

      It can work well for some and be terrible for others. It's an individualised thing, not a one size fits all. If you listen to my podcast, I have 3 episodes on intermittent fasting (Leanne Ward Nutrition Podcast) so you can decide if it's right for you or not :)

    I went keto for 3 years and then went omad keto 5 years now and it's about fat adaption, less than 20 Grams per day, that's seven years since I've had a Orange or worse a banana, I've lost 30 K and sitting comfortably at 68 and fixed IBS
    Easy to do I did that diet for part of last century and it doesn't work at all

    • @LeanneWardNutrition

      5 serving of just veggies + 2 serves of fruit a day are the general recommendations

    Would 0.5 cup be considering a serving of fruit, as well? Or a small banana, medium apple, etc.?

    • @LeanneWardNutrition
      @LeanneWardNutrition  3 года назад +1

      Hi Rebecca, 1 serving of fruit is generally a medium apple/pear/banana, 2 small fruits such as plums or kiwi fruit or 1 cup of chopped fruit.

    • @LeanneWardNutrition
      @LeanneWardNutrition  2 года назад +1

      small banana, medium apple, 2 small kiwi/plums etc or generally around 150g of fruit is considered a serving

    Leanne, so what is up with all these health gurus talking about high fat content plus protein and no carbs?

  • @voodooshizzle

    I dunno. All the stuff she says is standard advice the mainstream folks have been saying for decades and it got us to an obesity epidemic. She is of course gorgeous but I would love to see her "before" picture. Wanna see if this method is what got her to look this great.

    I only eat about 2.5 cups of food in total. That would mean all I eat is vegetables? I am overweight but that’s because I ate about 1.25 cups of chocolate a day until two weeks ago. I’ve mostly cut out my chockies except for 1 or 2 squares every second or third day. I have lost about two kilos in the last two weeks. Just trying to eat healthy, very loosely based on the keto diet but looking at changing that and just doing healthy foods. I also eat a lot of fish, it’s my favourite source of protein, usually 4-5 nights a week.

      Exercise is wonderful and incredibly important for mental health, cardiac health, sleep, stress management, bone mineral density etc but also not *essential* for fat loss. I am a nutrition professional not an exercise professional so try to leave exercise recommendations to the trainers out there :)

    Raw veggies are best an have great taste EXCEPT cauliflower veggies do not make me feel full or satisfied at all. Honeslty buckwheat or beans make me feel the most full an satisfied. What type of thing's can I use to replace salt in my diet?
