OK, I'm main DRK since HW but I wouldn't call myself a god tier one. Here are my thought.... eh sorry "article". Sorry! Please don't mad at me! You're doing good already keep enjoying the game!
    1. (1:15) Don't stop running while doing an extra pull
This will make you take additional damage, use Sprint whenever possible preferably before you enter combat (Sprint give you 20 sec but only 10 if you pop it while in combat). Normally you won't need to use Unmend to tag every mob after you already use Unleash (and hit all of them once). But since your gear might be a lot lower than the DPS in this case, extra Unmend doesn't hurt. Once you're getting better at aiming your Unleash, you just only need to Unmend the one that you miss. And in higher level dungeon you will have access to Flood of Darkness, a line OGCD AoE, which you can zip your camera around and use that to do additional hit real quick, mob will typically all line up behind you trying to chase you already.
    2. (1:45) Commit to either single or multiple mobs (or wall 2 wall) pull and stay consistent
It can be any number of group, one, two, or wall to wall but you should try to always be pulling the same number of group. This will make Healer easier to guess when you will stop and prepare to cast things accordingly.
    3. (1:45) I 'personally' advise against "run'n'gun" way of pulling (you DPS while you running dragging the mob along the way).
While moving, your DPS and healer might have a hard time doing thier things. In this case, both of your DPS is ACN (a caster) and they might not be able to do damage while running because they need to "Cast" their attack. Also Healer won't be able to heal you for the same reason (if they ran out of instant cast spell). But if you're good with your cooldown and your DPS is a range or melee DPS, run'n'gun pulling feel so cool like some kind of speedrun strat.
    4. (2:25) Manage your cooldown and don't use it during running.
While you're running you won't take much damage, Sprint to your stop point and then pop a cooldown. In higher level you will have access to more defensive cooldown, avoid using them all at once. Instead you want to keep applying it steady maybe one % dmg reduction + one mob debuff (like Reprisal) + The Blackest Night (keep that TBN sh*t on cooldown all the time it's so OP lol). Also Arm's Length (the anti knockback) IS a defensive cooldown. It apply Slow effect to mob that hit you and "Slow" their attack speed/cast time down.
    5. (7:40) When pulling multiple mobs at once, Use your AOE (Unleash) instead of individually tagging them with Unmend. You miss this one the most.
Also use your AoE if there're 3 or more mobs. If you want to focus down one at a time instead, do still use extra AoE before you switch to single target to make sure that you can hold emity on all of them if the DPS decided to use AoE (or a healer heal you). Then the situation you're facing at 8:50 won't happen (or at 10:35 where one DPS decided to hit the different target than you, notice that mob run to your DPS before its last breathe).
    6. (11:45) It's (should be) the party member's job to run to you if they get attacked but ONLY if you done everything correctly.
However, in this case you miss pulling one mob that came out from the door (if you apply number 5. you won't have this problem but it will be a bit akward in this case, since Satasha is so low level you won't even have gap closer). Which lead me to the next point.
    7. As I said in number 6, you don't want to run all the way pass the horde of mob to your BLM at max cast range waaay back who decided that they don't want to move. You might be serving them (and the rest of the party member) gazillion AoE telegraphs instead. I'm saying this for the future when you confident enough to do wall 2 wall pull. But if they start to argure that you should come pick the mob up by yourself, you do that and let them learn that it's not a good idea, just don't argure back and maybe say sorry to your healer.
    8. If that BLM still refuse to move, you can try Provoke. It has a greater range than Unmend.
    9. (25:18) Don't open pull with Provoke.
All Provoke do is place you on top of the emity list (with extra margin). But since the fight didn't even start yet, the top of emity list is zero. Instead keep it when you need it, you never know when. (like... you for some reason die before 30 second elapsed or there's a tank swap). Just try not to make it a habit.
    10. (30:20) Use your emity list.
If you see green dot but it shouldn't be green = bad. If you see only 2 mobs in the list but there should be 3 = uh oh. Also you can click the mob name in emity list to target that specific mob.
    11. (32:25) Try not to use your defensive cooldown if it's not necessary.
You might don't have it available when you do actually need it... Like... a tank buster came.... Oh look 33:34. It won't hurt now but in later harder content it will hurt reeeeaal bad.
    Even more advice:
    1. (Extra tip on number 4) If you're dying (maybe your healer can't keep up), RUN!! (in circle, and try to avoid your party member). While you're moving, the mob will all bunch up trying to reach you like a brain hungry zombie and the one in the back won't be able to hit you thus reducing the damage you take. But DON'T RUN AWAY FROM YOUR HEALER! (

@@BigZorich Good that you're enjoying the game! Hope you continue playing for a long time. I'm not a perfect god tier tank either. Also I suck at playing DPS. Why so many buttons to press much positional such resource gauge. So that's why I main DRK since HW and by main I only know how to (properly) play DRK.... lol.

Adding on to this, the "run n gun" he's talking about in #3, it actually is a great idea when there's only one or two mobs left on really low (sub 10%) hp. At that point, you can just spam unmend while running onwards, to finish off the mobs while getting the pace started again. Any time before then really isn't that good an idea. Once you finish pulling however much you feel comfortable, you should plant yourself until most if not all the mobs are dead.
Also, pulling with provoke can be a good idea but only for mobs (not counting 8-man content), since it makes the enemies start aggroing to you but you can immediately use Unleash to AOE all of em. Usually when you see a pack of 3 or more enemies close enough that you can hit most of them with a single Unleash.
And just to reiterate what they were saying, your cooldowns in dungeons should be used for mob pulls first and foremost. Big pulls of mobs will always do more damage than any boss (eating AOEs doesn't count!). Especially at low levels you should be careful not to use cooldowns during the 1st or 2nd boss fight if it will affect what all you have available for the next mob pulls. Reprisal is going to be up for every mob pull and boss, while stuff like Shadow Wall should almost never be used during dungeon bosses.
Later content usually always has a cast bar for tankbusters, but earlier stuff usually has it without a telegraph. Try to get used to the timings, and remember that the worst time to use mitigation is AFTER the big hit. If you did get a surprise tankbuster without any mitigations up, you should probably wait a few seconds before popping mits, so it'll cover the next one or two. If you even need mits for the bosses, which is generally no at your level.
Also, as a DRK, remember to keep Dark Mind in, well, mind! If you see a lot of attacks from mobs or bosses that have a purple mark next to it, it's magic damage so Dark Mind will work as a second Rampart to them. It can be hard to guess sometimes, like for example Titan having some of his rocks slamming into your face count as magic because it's rock magic.
Either way, good job and good luck! I wish you a great journey as you join the ranks of the tanks. o7
