Hi JSURF, thank you for your support! Unfortunately where I surf 99% of the time, it never barrels, but I will do my best to chase some. In regards to board selections in those type of conditions, it really depends on your skill level, the wave size and how you want to surf. Generally speaking though, you want a board with more rocker. Boards with more rocker tend to be suited to controlling speed, rather than generating it. As always I would recommend doing lots of research to see what is out there and what you think would suit your surfing and the wave size you will be surfing.
