As a footballer, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is considered one of the greatest forwards in the history of football. He secured the European Championship title with West Germany in 1980 and reached the World Cup finals in 1982 and 1986. Awarded the Ballon d'Or for two consecutive years in 1980 and 1981, his name is inextricably linked to Bayern Munich, where he played from 1974 to 1984. With the Bavarian club, he won numerous trophies, including two German championships, two national cups, two Champions Cups, and an Intercontinental Cup.
