Daikin WiFi adapter install for mini split wall unit

I finally got around to adding the WiFi capability to my new Daikin mini split in my detached garage. This video shows how to connect the brp072a43 adapter cable and WiFi adapter module to the wall unit model ftxs18lvju. Luckily, this model is plug and play, and does not require installation of an extra printed circuit board (which comes with the WiFi kit). The hardest part was actually syncing up the module to my home WiFi network (and that part wasn’t even that hard at all). The only downside to doing this is the daikin comfort control app does NOT have access to ALL of the awesome settings available on the daikin remote control unit. The app only provides very basic features. But, it does allow me to turn my unit on or off and I can also change the thermostat from in my house or anywhere I have internet connectivity from my iPhone. Overall, it works pretty well, and suits my needs. Well worth the extra cake for the added functionality it does provide.
