@@Drivecomau The US version of the Nissan Patrol comes with the new infotainment system however we seem to be getting the outdated 90s looking infotainment system.
@$101,000 auz $ thats about $65,000 us $ ,id buy it if it was sold in the states ,Nissan wants to sell Armanda platuim 3 row luxury wagons /suv for $70k or Infiniti QX80 for $80k
It’s a real pity that they haven’t given it a GVM upgrade with the suspension changes as for most people wanting to use this for touring they will need it to stay legal. The side exhaust is just a silly idea for a vehicle that is meant to be more off-road orientated. I know that the Mercedes G63 has, this too but then they re the least off-road worthy of that range and why copy someone else’s mistake.
The Patrol Ti has a list price of $84,900 before on-road costs and accessories, the Ti-L is priced from $97,600 before on-road costs and accessories but the final on-road price will be higher depending on which state you live in.
Sounded like he said it was bi-modal. Both might be active and there could be a valve that swaps between the two when you go from normal to sport mode. Could be wrong though.
The rear exhaust path is kept, and is used at the default, the side exit pipes for part of the bi-modal system. Accelerate hard, or switch to manual mode and a valve in the exhaust reroutes the gasses to this shorter path.
Yeah, you hear this all the time from guys like you until you take one for a drive then forget all about tech you don’t really need. The money is in all the oily bits and the drive line and tech you actually need.
Nissan could have easily put a 12 inch screen in there to hide that cheap silvery plastic and I would have paid another 1k to help them. But the same lazy build and design from Nissan. The updated trim is in the US. They just choose to treat Australians like second class citizens. And I tell you what. They only thing punching their sales up is the lack of supply in touring vehicles. Luck comes in spades for Nissan.
Directly import the nissan patrol from japan in the form of a middle east le platinum city. But you will have to pay extra. Around 130k -140k. And then you have the best vehicle or offroader ever.
Eveyone complaining about the interior. Toyota 70 series still had wind up windows and cost almost 100k stock with wind up windows.
Nice work Bernie and Co.

Nissan patrol are bulletproof ❤❤
Can the Apple CarPlay situation be fixed in the aftermarket?
Yes there are after market units available.
Everything can be fixed after market.
Excellent test drive and great vehicle. There is only one drawback: dated dashboard and very dated infotainment system.
Spent so much time and money upgrading the off-roading capabilities - did they sacrifice too much in not updating the dash and technology however?

Why do they have the exhaust out the side? Anything rough and it’s getting ripped off
So dumb!! Like the G-wagons.

How are they allowed to have a exhaust outlet not passed the last opening window 😮
That’s it …. I might as well buy a Nissan patrol charcoal colour and then stick on the words warrior
Update the interior Nissan, you will sell as many as you can build.

$85k for the low spec one? Where the hell are you seeing that?
The Ti-L I've seen are just shy of $100k

How stupid is that side exhaust, any rock climbing will just take it out
The side exhausts are fake the rear on is still there 3:10

I can do all these extra mods for $5k….
No you can't, the wheels and tyres alone will be the guts of 5k
10 year old interior with piano black plastic and no android auto or carplay on a 100k vehicle..
I still bought it
Unacceptable
It’s still more capable, better NVH, power, capacity, reliable Than all of its competitors, how bad are they.
@@dragonz_breath4072yea it looks sick with rasised suspension
