Ashlynne, when my husband died a few years ago, I donated his clothes & shoes to a men’s shelter. The thought that they are being used by those who need instead of being sold by places like Goodwill made the decision easier for me. Shelter’s have programs to assist folks similar to dress for success. 🥰
I love your decluttering videos!! I would suggest that maybe instead of donating your unity candle, you keep it and use it up! You could burn it while you and Christopher have a nice dinner or turn on music and dance together by candlelight.🕯️💗
I have a silverware organizer from a brand called joseph joseph that is not an usual tray (I cant explain, please just search it), and it saves a lot of space in a drawer too!
Love the video 🥰 Regarding the candle, I would keep it and use it for the welcome party of your newborn or even the first church ceremony with him. You can reuse the wedding candle as an baptism candle and so keep it as an 'family tradition' 🕯 🕯
Birkenstock shoes can be resoled at any Birkenstock stores. I belong to a buy nothing group it is a wonderful way to re-home items. Congratulations on the little boy that's going to come into your life
So enjoying watching this! One thing I will say, my plants weren’t the best taken care of after having my baby, but now that he’s a little older I’m so glad I still do have them! Just something to think about if you’re on the fence!
Your decluttering journey is so inspiring! It's amazing how transforming our spaces can also transform our mindset. The way you approached each room with intention, especially the kitchen and bedroom, really resonated with me. It's not just about creating space, but also about making room for new beginnings and experiences. Your method of questioning the utility and emotional value of each item is a great takeaway for anyone looking to simplify their life. This video is a wonderful reminder of the peace and clarity that comes with decluttering. Thanks for sharing this process and inspiring a fresh start!
I've been loving playing the game of how long can I make this clothing work before I'm just too big. I had a one piece swim suit that I put on the other day to go swim some laps and that day was definitely the last I could wear it. My husband joked around saying I looked like a canned yam 🤣
A good decluttering is was. Just one thing…the glass tray with wooden lid, if this is from Ikea don’t throw the tray away because the lids are sold separately.
We used a lot of sheets when the kids were small. Nice to have when they were sick and sleeping in our bed, sometime you had yo change the sheets several times a night and did not have the time or will to wash during the night :)
I actually declutterred my wedding shoes a few years back and intentionally gave them to goodwill hoping someone would get them that could not have afforded them otherwise. I knew I would never wear them and I don’t regret. Just wanted to add in case it helps.
@AshlynneEaton Before throwing out empty concealers (lipglosses, mascaras & co): taking out the stopper can give you tons of more product to use that's still left inside, but out of reach with the stopper still in.
Have you considered trading in your old watch and AirPods to Apple? I usually trade mine in when I buy new products, and get a nice discount because of it!
I Istruggle with clothes that have been my favourites for some time but are wearing out. I'm always nervous I won't find a replacement like it. Usually, it takes upto two years of wearing to realise that it doesn't work sparkling joy. Loved this video - very realistic. ❤
I got rid of most of our wedding things. Kept my dress and the guest book to maybe use at an anniversary party in the future. Also kept the most important thing: my husband. 😂. Ultimately that's the only thing worth keeping from a wedding anyway. The other things are just stuff.
I think you have the right idea minimizing plants. I had plants prior to having children, and then I didn’t have much for about 10 years. Now that my kids are all older I’m back in my plant era. 🌿🪴😊
I have been married for almost 12 years and still have the shoes I wore for my wedding, and only then haha! I feel like I really should pass them on but also feel that sentimental tug!
Such an inspiring declutter journey! Watching you transform your space from messy to minimal is motivating me to tackle my own home organization. Let's do this together! 🌟💪
Ashlynne, get yourself a belly band for your pants! You may not love it, but I’ve found I can still wear a few pairs of my pants with a band overtop. It’s great to wear with skinny jeans and a shirt and cardigan or a loose-ish sweater. You can get bands for about $10-$15, and it works like a charm. I only say you might not like them because it does feel weird to walk around with what is essentially your fly undone, but to be honest, you get over that pretty quickly😂 lolThat said, I know you appreciate thriftier options, so I would consider it to extend the life of your pants. I’m 23 weeks myself over here and the band has been great. It’s also nice under a non-maternity sweater because it just looks like a cami under and covers your belly a bit. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your pregnancy journey!🥰 PS my baby will be born in April too..and it might be a boy as well!💙 I just haven’t been telling people yet so 🤫
I see your husband also plays disc golf. He'll have lots of fun taking the baby to the park to disc golf once he's big enough to sit up in the stroller!
I’m not sure if you can do it with all apple products, but I recently turned my old MacBook in for recycling. It took 5 minutes at the Apple Store and I got an Apple gift card in return. Thanks for putting out all the feel-good content that you do!
I love my Buy Nothing group. I'm okay with gifting items worth money because I've received things worth value. And it's so much easier to gift than to sell.
Besides the plants, you should consider the storage on your pantry floor & definitely the make up behind your mirror! Once the baby starts crawling or toddling around - he will be into everything. Then I would consider letting go of the jeans - after the baby your hips will not go back to pre-pregnancy size even if your weight is back.
Great video as usual. I do know that Apple has a recycling program that if you give the watch back to them, they will give you a credit for a future purchase or towards Apple services. Just an idea for the Apple Watch if you choose not to sell it!
if you're shorter as I am, what you can do is just size up and buy stretch waist pants or skirts but not maternity, same with tops. i was able to wear size large if they were loose fit instead of my regular mediums, and also i wore some of my husbands tops too.
Keep the shoes. They don’t take up much room. If you ever have a daughter, you could take a pic of her when she is little wearing the shoes in a cute little dress and use the pic for her wedding day!
Nice job. Do you have an Amazon storefront or other links to items in your kitchen. Specifically your counter top spice rack and the blue and white teapot?
I feel like in this video and the past few, there’s been a slight background buzzing sound for any of the live audio potions. Not sure if you’ve noticed this or if it’s something you could address? Still always enjoy your videos, and def need to plan one of these days soon!
I usually gave back to the store where i bought my apple product because they usually gave % sale when i buy a new one. Then its better for me and the enviroment. Lucky for me after birth I fit every of my clothes also favourite jeans! :3 I had 8 kg maximum on me before birth.
My old ones were giving out (the battery on the left one specifically had declined significantly), so Christopher got me some new ones for my birthday! 🤍🤍 But the big difference between the pros and my old pair are that my new ones have noise cancellation! Which is super nice 🥰
Use a hair tie. Loop it in the hole of the button of your jeans, and hook it on the button. Do not get rid of your jeans. Some women unintentionally lose allot of weight after pregnancy.
What is one area of your home that you’d like to declutter before the new year? 🎄💫
The furniture.
Books!
Clothes and kitchen items!
Bedroom Closet that holds our stuff we’re selling, shipping materials, crafts supplies, office supplies etc (it does it all!).
Basement and kitchen items

You know I actually love that idea 🤍🤍 Going to do that! Thank you for the suggestion 🥰
A tip I heard that’s a total game changer, is to turn your silverware on its side and it saves SO much room!
Huh
Just tried this and I’m impressed
Thank you for the tip! 😃👍
I heard this from someone else and was mind blown!
I have a silverware organizer from a brand called joseph joseph that is not an usual tray (I cant explain, please just search it), and it saves a lot of space in a drawer too!
This is just the video I needed to watch to get motivated to declutter my house. Thank you!

I just wanted to say that this video was so calming and helped me get in the christmas mood on my way home on the train after finishing my last exam❤

This editing was a nice change of pace from other decluttering videos👏👏
Thank you!! 🥰 It was fun to switch things up a bit for this!
I would the unity candle for the baby's baptism. It would be so symbolic.
A good decluttering is was. Just one thing…the glass tray with wooden lid, if this is from Ikea don’t throw the tray away because the lids are sold separately.
I always enjoy your decluttering videos, Ashlynne. Great job! And, congratulations on the reveal that you are having a baby boy.

You are really organized and detailed. You got it all down pat
@AshlynneEaton

Wow you did amazing. Thanks for the motivation.
Good morning Ashlynne happy Thursday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
A nice decluttering the entire home, Ashlynne!❤
Happy to be the FIRST to Like this video ! Thanks for the nudge to get my Simplifying Project back in track , so I can Decorate for Christmas 🎄⛄
Thank you so much Ervin!!

You should def hold on to the wedding items, you never know maybe your future children could use them 💛
Love this video you talking through tough items … wedding stuff is hard for me too lol
I see your husband also plays disc golf. He'll have lots of fun taking the baby to the park to disc golf once he's big enough to sit up in the stroller!
I know u do this on a regular basis anyway but now you’re nesting for baby boy. So cute.❤
Hehe thank you!! 🥰🥰🥰
This is so funny! i am doing the same Toscana puzzle that you are doing on your table!! 😂

Yeah, there will definitely be plenty of things that we will childproof as our baby starts being mobile!! 🫶
That's not necessarily true re jeans, all women are different. I'm still wearing my pre-pregnancy skinny jeans
Great video as usual. I do know that Apple has a recycling program that if you give the watch back to them, they will give you a credit for a future purchase or towards Apple services. Just an idea for the Apple Watch if you choose not to sell it!
Oooh definitely a good idea!
If there is a Ashely’s video then it is a good Wednesday / Friday 🤗💓
I must know, where did you get your silverware? I love the rectangle shape of it!
if you're shorter as I am, what you can do is just size up and buy stretch waist pants or skirts but not maternity, same with tops. i was able to wear size large if they were loose fit instead of my regular mediums, and also i wore some of my husbands tops too.

I heard you are expecting again! Hope you are feeling well, congratulations to you both dear!🥰🙏💯
Keep the shoes. They don’t take up much room. If you ever have a daughter, you could take a pic of her when she is little wearing the shoes in a cute little dress and use the pic for her wedding day!
of all things to keep, keeping a sentimental pair of wedding shoes is understandable.
My husband loves to hold on to empty boxes too lol
Great job!🥳🥳🥳
Defo makes me want to declutter my house. I think my kitchen island would look way worse by the end though 😂
Nice job. Do you have an Amazon storefront or other links to items in your kitchen. Specifically your counter top spice rack and the blue and white teapot?
You must be decutering to get ready for all the baby stuff to come. 😊
My game changer plan for old tech like phones is actually passing it onto my sister as she just isnt kind to her phones 😂
I never understood why people get rid of candles. I would just use them up! Christmas is the best time to burn up your candles!
What is your paint color in your living room? Beautiful!
Joli rangement ashlynne 😊😊

I agree with getting rid of the plants. Your focus will change. My boys are teens and I still don’t want to take care of plants at this point.
💙💙💙💙💙
I'm thinking maternity clothes would target have them.
❤💫❤💫❤💫❤
Why did you need new AirPods? Is there a difference in the function? I’ve had mine for years and the mic has stopped working
My old ones were giving out (the battery on the left one specifically had declined significantly), so Christopher got me some new ones for my birthday! 🤍🤍 But the big difference between the pros and my old pair are that my new ones have noise cancellation! Which is super nice 🥰
🤗🤗🤗🤗👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🌹🌹🌹🌹
Soon you're kitchen closets will be full off baby stuff sweety❤
Use a hair tie. Loop it in the hole of the button of your jeans, and hook it on the button. Do not get rid of your jeans. Some women unintentionally lose allot of weight after pregnancy.
Get rid of the wooden chest if your bringing children into your house or drill some air holes in the back.
I’ll buy your Apple Watch :)
