It’s a little more tricky, but it’s doable. If you already have an income you can get approved for a place to live somewhere new and more times than not people are moving for a job! If you don’t have a job lined up, large savings accounts can get you approved for apartments also.
Just found you guys and subscribed! You’re funny and full of information I’d be an idiot not to😁❤. I’m moving from Massachusetts to Florida next year and I have to find a new home and figure out how to get there on my own. I’m 57 yr old and scared 😳 as hell!! I will have my son fly up here to help on the final day, but until then it’s just me baby! 😱
Linda, happy to have you here with us! That’s a big move, how exciting! We just came back from Florida a few weeks ago. You’ll enjoy it there if you haven’t been!
Don't always trust SpotCrime. Really check the addresses specially if you're looking at smaller towns. I had to have like 4-5 items taken off the map of where I purchased my new home in AZ because they were not even from the same town. They were 45 plus minutes away.
The hardest part for me is timing. How do I sell my house, buy a house, relocate my sons school all before my new job start date. What order do I do this in, what if there’s a hold up? Do people successfully do this often? Or am I too ambitious?
I’m in the same boat as you I would worry less about the school aspect that will work itself out. Focus more on downsizing your items making sure that the kids are in a good mental space, and yourself. That the move is really what you want and the location. I have been thinking about moving for about five years and now I’m at the precipice of implementing this plan within the next year and so many thoughts keep racing through my head about the where, when, the why. Lol MY Realtor has been so patient with me about me wanting to do renovations or when I’m gonna put the house on the market. When will it sell, will I find the right place for the right price? Your not alone but the kids will be ok. And I have two LARGE dogs going they are family. I see so many people moving out of state and leaving their pets or rehoming them. I cannot even imagine.
@@kristiemiller4752 I appreciate your encouragement! Sounds like you got a good realtor.
