We need a video on the legal side like paperwork, taxes, VAT, business bank accounts etc. I feel like it’s something that’s never spoken about but I’m so stuck
the issue is people who don't even have clients are worrying about those things, 1. create framework 2. get clients 3. get paid 4. search accounting framework for small business once you hit your first 10k. people want to start with step 4 and work backwords@@pdlrkpdlrk9971
I left film school back in 2022, And I'm looking to start my video production company in 2024. I know everyone's Journey is different. I've been doing mainly corporate work for my friends Lee production company.
What a fountain of knowledge this video is. Thank you very much for everything you mentioned to help get a production business off the ground. There is clearly much more to learn and you also provide that aspect as well, so thank you again for that.
Make today that day! Why not start to map out your plan. It doesn't mean you have to fully commit but you'll be a few steps ahead 😊🚀 you'll do great I'm sure!
Hey Ross! Excellent video and great advice! Question I have is what to do when a client isn't happy with a a video or two I've done for them? No expectations were given but nonetheless expectations weren't met. Ngl confidence in my abilities got knocked a little bit and just curious what encouraging advice you might have for me to rally and move forward even if that client might not be interested in the future. thanks!
Hey dude! Sorry to hear you're having some client troubles. I've certainly experienced that in the past and it can be tough. One of the things I do moving forward is always ask them to see any examples of what they like or share some of my work with them to show them what they'll be getting. That way everyone has a visual representation of what the outcome should look like. Also, after every meeting I document it in an email so we have a clear outline and reference to look back on. Finally in that email I'll also include assumptions, so any great areas are covered too. Eg. I assume you will be supplying the scripts etc. Doing this will minimise any problems but just have confidence that it's simply a learning curve and no 2 clients are the same so although you've had a challenge this time, next time you'll nail it!! Hope that helps! 😊
@@RossWelch thanks for the fast reply Ross! Super helpful, I’ll definitely start asking for some examples of what they like and really outline what we discussed and might need clarification. Appreciate you Ross! Hope to be a perspective academy member as soon as my business starts to generate some real money and I’ve got a little spending cash. Cheers!
reat Content love your story Started making £ with local councils etc also building up a youtube channel interviewing interesting people just need to cram how to do online interviews when i get these skills would love to get you on for a chat thanks for valuable content
Would love just a list, beat by beat no frill long-winded jargon, just step by step guide. I wasn't sure what the point was 5min in- there wasn't useful information and it's almost like a written document would be faster and easier to follow.
your "free" link takes you straight to an ad for ANOTHER "youtuber mastercourse" that we have to pay for (NOT FREE), you should start with some transparency: show your stats and earnings, proven results for why we should follow your advice. I think the course has great value - but this is a bit misleading... and is click-bait'y

Clever implementation of Aida to drive traffic to the program while teaching us to implement Aida for ourselves. Bravo
