This is interesting. I was one of those people that only bought all the AEW shows when there were four of them now I pick and choose because I don’t have a lot of funds. I usually just go with the big four AE Revolution all out, etc.. I also would go back and buy the older shows when they went down to $14 but they seem not to be doing that.😊

Not only did Orton & Christian have 4 PPV matches in a row, they had 2 TV matches to add to it. 6 World Title matches between them in 4 months lol. Sheamus in 2012 had 4 PPV defenses against Del Rio then had 3 PPV matches with Big Show lmao. It's such a breath of fresh air to not have rematches in WWE immediately like that anymore.

Shit whenever Miz lost a title on PPV it was GUARANTEED he'd have his rematch clause by the following Monday on RAW
WWE has the right idea of doing 4-5 match cards for the B-shows which are usually done in 3 hours, and also doing PPVs on a Saturday. Mania and Summer Slam can go longer and have bigger cards because they are bigger PPVs. the Rumble and Survivor Series, usually have bigger gimmicks that now have a Man and Women's version that'll go an hour or longer. So they only need 4-5 cards as well. AEW is just too much when it comes to PPV, everyone doesn't need to be a 10-15 match card. Even more when the show goes 5-6 hours long. Plus the Media scrums. It burns the fans out. It doesn't matter if every AEW PPV is a "banger" You have to think about the fans, even more so when the PPVs are on a Sunday. If you can't get the Monday off after the PPV you are in for a rough time, even if you're local. WWE learned this from Mania 35, which in some timelines is still going on. I've always felt at most a PPV should be 8 matches total, and go about 4 hours.
Tony once said that the reason their PPVs are so long is because they have to make money
He also said he wants to give people as much content as he can because thr PPV are really expensive to buy

Aew has 10 matches at least 15 minutes each ppv. 3 hours is good for a ppv.
Did you watch this weeks dynamite? What a shambles so many botches it was embarrassing from the promos to segmen mix ups. So bad
The guarantee with aew is that they put on good ppvs, their booking and logic may make no sense but their ppvs are usually great, they just have wayy too many matches, i feel like for them like 7 strong matches per ppv is solid sometimes i feel like they mess around and do like 14.💀while wwe has about 5 on B shows and like 7 at most so tighter shows that make it feel like you aren't just sitting there waiting for it to end, it leaves you wanting more which is always a good thing rather then just hoping it ends soon
Anything more that 5 matches is terrible. I hate sitting at Mania and Summer slam in person it’s way too long. Smackdown cool but Raw is way too long.
It should be 3 hours no preshow, 4 hours for special events and there should be 4...6maximum special events and there should be a few big matches with celebs or big draws on those cards to make them feel special and they should be spaced out that's for the ones that are special. The regular ones 3 hours.

Hell The Warner lost the NBA rights deal. What the hell AEW think that they should get.
AEW still has some good PPVs, but my problem with it is that they have too matches. Some matches shouldn't even be in the main show. WWE PPVs having like 4 or 5 matches has been a improvement. I feel have the matches have more time to breathe. Less is more. Quality over quantity.
With so much going on in life it’s hard to watch all the shows I try my best to catch all the WWE and TNA shows and I’ll just watch the highlights for AEW

You get your moneys worth for buying AEW ppv, if WWE were to go back and do PPVs I do wonder how they would do because I doubt 2 hours and a handful of matches would be worth that 40 plus lol
