I really really hate the CEO song for Sasha Banks…sorry Mercedes, that song makes my ears hurt. I just can’t take it anymore. It’s so annoying Danny. If you got any input, let Tony know the song sucks.
My son twhen he heard this song put his little hands on my ears and say I’m sorry daddy that you gotta listen to this crap that’s how much I hate that song.
I don't hate it as much but some of the lyrics does kinda age badly the longer she keeps using it. It's like "okay, you're back now and been talking, talking, talking and now you're a champ, do we need to keep hearing about your comeback from a heel injury for what's supposedly a 3-5 year run?"
She'll have to change it eventually.

The canned „CEO“ over & over is unbearable. The crowd barely even chants along it’s so terribly annoying, making it sound even more forced…imho.

About Gangrel, it wasn't a WWE name, It was a licensed one. Remember when WWF & WCW credited Marvel Comics for the Hulk Hogan name? It's the same here but with a company by the name of White Wolf. It wasn't until 2018 when he bought the rights to the Gangrel name (like Hogan did with Hulk in 2005).
AEW needs to exist. There is too many good pro wrestler's and not enough shows for WWE to showcase them. with that said AEW needs to get their shit together!

I completely get where you’re coming from. Perhaps AEW wanted to go big for their 5 year anniversary, but sometimes less is more. I enjoyed the show overall but some time could have been trimmed from most of the matches, and AEW could do more about protecting moves and spots. I am thrilled for Will Ospreay becoming International Champion. Will Ospreay and Roderick Strong put on a banger match. My hope is 2024 is when Ospreay has a great reign as International Champion and that he wins the AEW World Title in 2025. I also enjoyed Swerve Strickland vs. Christian Cage a lot. With the Owen Hart Tournament winners getting world title shots at All In, I’m predicting right here that it will be Swerve Strickland vs. MJF at All In. Overall, I enjoyed Double or Nothing, and with 5 years under their belt, I’m happy AEW exists. I’ve had more positive memories about AEW than negative ones, and I hope AEW learns from their mistakes and grows as a company. Also, I saw a “Magneto Was Right” sign at the beginning of the show. Big respect to that fan for showing respect to X-Men ‘97.

People have been complaining for YEARS about missing the Attitude Era. Tony practically hands it to you in his own way and folks STILL complaining. I guarantee you, if HHH did it, yall would worship the ground he walks on.
Not true the problem is the attitude era is wasn’t like this with flame throwers and bull shit spot fest yes wwe had tlc matches and hardcore matches but it had stories to them tlc was because the 3 teams had there own signature Themes and used them but also wwe stopped the hardcore BS while aew is literally doing bullshit that has nothing to do with wrestling
The first official ppv was double or nothing…..but what was the name of the one before that basically lead to AEW?? I constantly remember lol
Honestly, the last match is one of those matches that I don’t really care about suspension of disbelief. Really disagree with your opinion on this one.

I really disagree with the "It was too long" I think it's fine tbh. I also disagree that AITA went too far.
Just finished watching and I completely agree with you bro especially the end when you said this show would benefit it being two nights. Plus it fits the name haha. 😂

This was a complete and utter dumpster fire of the highest caliber. It went on way too long and about half the matches didn't even need to be on the card.
The positives: The return of MJF, the biggest draw AEW has, rocking a HHH style jacket and an awful tattoo. He has to carry the company on his back again. Ospreay vs Roddy was a fine but predictable match, There was one nasty bump that could have really gone south. But Meltzer's golden boy wasn't losing. Toni Storm and Serena Deebs were the best women's match on the card. The Trios title match was okay, it didn't need to be on the PPV, but hey at least Juice is back to carry Switchy the Channel again. Swerve and Christian were fine, it just went way to long in an already overbooked card. Swerve needed the win and needed to be convincing after the multiple beatdowns.
The negatives: Willow deserves better, she carried Mercedes hard in that match, doing most of the work. Mercedes was sloppy and botched her finisher, but we knew she was going to win or she threw a tantrum. She also cried fake tears as she won to no reaction because everyone knew it was bullshit. Statlander turning on Willow after the match got a bigger reaction. Super "Serious" Pockets beat Trent and no one really carried. Takeshita got fucked over by the ACE Plumber of AEW, the Hobo Moxley. Being it was an Eliminator match everyone knew Take wasn't winning, even if Moxley had an "Injured" arm. Jericho continues to piss away his legacy in the second worse match of the night. "Brood Copeland" vs Malakai Black was an overbooked mess. I honestly hope Adam Copeland is okay after that nasty-looking elbow drop where he landed on his feet. Black should have won, but it all went to hell when the house of Black got destroyed by Gangrel. Which leaves the question what do you do with them now?
Final the worst match of the card and then as they said the Total Shitshow. The DoucheBucks, Rod andTodd Flanders, and the rest of the Elite beat "Team AEW" in a dumpster fire of a match, We had exploding shoes, we had thumbtacks, tables, and everything else. But the real insults to injury were both Darby after getting "ran" over by Jake Perry, coming into the match with a Flame thrower, setting Perry on a while. While Tony Khan was watching. So does Tony still "fear for his life" as badly as he did with Punk. On top of that you then later have Darby get hung by his feet upside down for 5+ minutes... A show that also had MARTHA HART there to promote the next Owen Tournament. Which brings up the question. Did Tony tell her about this, did she okay this? If not what is she thinking, and if she did okay with it, She can not say anything about the WWE. The worst part is there are AEW faithful that will defend all of this, and I'm sure some like Meltzer have been vigorously getting on on it. You restore faith that AEW has a chance to get better with the return of MJF and you piss it all away with this Deathmatch bullshit, but remember AEW is where the real wrestler wrestles.

House of Black should rule this company. They are the rare wrestlers that look legitimately tough & intimidating. But, then they get physically dominated every week (The worst example of this for me was a few weeks ago when Eddie Kingston, old Edge & Briscoe not only defeated them, but actually beat them up for 80+% of the match. I assumed they’d lose to those Faces; but, they should have pulled it out late after getting killed the whole time.
Some of these matches should have been on a pre-show. Matches like Thunder Rosa vs Deonna, gates of agony, basically the non title matches
Tony bringing natural heels Deonna Purrazzo and Mercedes Mone in as faces happy to be there is one of the biggest fumbles in women's wrestling history

Listen the match had a spots where someone was set on fire, exploding chair, table spot, double superkick with tacks, and a piledriver on poker chips. However the fucking finish was a running knee... wtf

Show was WAY too long! I enjoyed most of the matches but TK needs to understand that not everyone has to be on the card, regardless of what the story is. My favorite match was Serena vs Toni Storm.

As a firm supportor of wrestlers having tattoos because, let's face it, it is far easier to get lost in the shuffle without them, I don't think he needed the AEW logo added to it. The Poker chip was great though
Ospreay/Strong & Mercedes/Willow were awesome, MJF's return was great and that AITA match was out of this world. Overall a really, really fun show.
