  • Mountain biking the infamous Porcupine Rim trail in Moab Utah, following Kyle Mears and Botsy Phillips. #followcamfriday This is my favorite section of the Whole Enchilada, and is regarded by most as the best trail in Utah. Can you clean the move out of the wash, near the bottom? Let me know in the comments below. This was filmed on my Yeti SB4.5c.

By far one of the most rewarding/difficult things I've ever done in my life. I teared up when I got to the car and looked back. It was finally done.
Rode it alone. I saw two people that entire time. (4 hours or so, I stopped at the rim for an hour). Late July. 102 out, started at 1pm in a tank top. Absolutely no shelter from that sun. Ran out of water.
Truly learned 2 life long lessons that day. #1; DO NOT EVER underestimate nature. You will lose. #2; Be prepared. Research what you're about to do.
I'm lucky I was able to do it without falling or one single mechanical problem, but can't believe I did it so irresponsibly.
I do look forward to going back, doing it properly and having an even more awesome experience.
