11:51 Great clip. Excellent RE350 ownership information. Should surely be helpful to anyone considering between model years. I like the kick starter idea. Especially in light of the crappy batteries they are putting out these days. Sure, would come in handy out in the scrub if you happen upon a dead battery.

Hi Warro, I don't think the speedo error warning is a good idea. Fitting speedos that don't go wrong would be a much better idea. Most every manufacturer does. How hard can it be ?. Edward.

they are picking young gun colours which i think is totally off target

Hello from the other side of the world Russia. Just bought one 11.08 desert sand colour. Love classic bikes. Dream about triumph t100/120, but I am new one with bikes. So I like this one. Only 50 km on clock) Totally agree with you and thank God I bought older version. I can say why they do that because the want it to be same part as interceptor for better logistic and lower prices to produce. Adjustable livers maybe fine. But some colours really like... Not suitable. And it s bad if they look at honda 350 cb, I sit on one at it feels good, but it s look is just here with that headlamp. Clean road to you!

Good vid again Warro, appreciate your great work! Best mod I have on mine is the heel and toe shifter, suits the bike and I got used to it immediately. Another 10-15 HP would be nice but other than that they need to retain its charm by keeping it old style. Kickstart would be great.

i was actually the first to put a heel and toe on a classic 350. i had mine pre-ordered before first shupment arrived in OZ.
that idea started way back in 2014 i think when i started adding them to the classic 500's

This video explains easily why they are not caled you. 1 to 5 is a gear indicator, nobody in the right mind would consider that adding a kick starter is a easy job, clutch is so easy on 350 it does not need slipper.

    • @elwood62

Pretty sure the 1 to 5 thing was a joke since they haven’t addressed the issue with the speedo yet. It doesn’t need a kickstarter but after 100 years of making bikes that have them I’m think Enfield could have figured it out without too much trouble.

I think having the option to buy your bike in a custom colour is a really good idea from a marketing point of view, and if the person who orders has taste there will be some beautiful variations to come out of it! As for the rest I think you're right, especially with the LED lights, they look really out of place and make the bike look more modern than it should. Really happy I got my chrome/bronze some months ago, I will keep this one a long time :)

The 350 Classic is one of the few bikes that could use a gear indicator. Bimbling about in higher gears at low speeds it's easy to forget which cog you're in. The new colours look okay to me, especially the plain red. The army inspired camo job isn't as nice as the previous sand versions, which haven't been available for about a year.

The sales figures in Western countries are going to plummet. The only thing that seems to be an upgrade is the gear indicator, but not really necessary if you can hear the motor.

Jeez, that river's up, Warro. All good suggestions. I wish they'd kept the 500/535 engine, I think they had push-rods, didn't they? Now that's a true classic. And get rid of engine lights and sensors. Just plain and simple. Maybe keep the electronic ignition and fuel injection, don't really want to go back to setting points and a carburetor. My ol' man had a Tiger 100 back in his day, but that was because bikes were cheaper to own than cars.

White led indicators and headlight is a mistake IMO. I do have a redchrome 4weeks old and pretty keen on it BUT if one gets nifty there are a few points for improvement: side bags and brackets hard to get (I see them on the 2024 model!!) and the batterie+airbox cover I really liked it to be in chrome (2024 it has!!) and a good upgrade could be tubeless spoked rims like enduros (could reconsider for conversion?). I do fancy the blue 2024 version quite a lot but the red and chrome verion 2nd and 3rd place not sure if I would buy them. IF I would consider to get a 2024 I'd be strongly reconsidering to have my redchrome repainted to a highgloss blackchrome or rustchrome which would make it look more stylish as a Bullet or 2024 model range I guess. And this is the cheap way to completely restyle a redchrome Classic. The bronzechrome would win for a neutral timeless color as well.
I am not too sure if the 2024 color range would please me on the long run but as I said the blue version is nice.
I believe a classic500 version was also suggested? Not sure if this would be a massive upgrade worth considering taking fuel consumption in account and if it is needed where 100kmh limit is dictated. Right now I'd be pleased with the performance of a stock J350 (but I own a Griso as well)
Recently I installed a belt drive which gives a very comfortable experience as well but I would not consider offroad(grit).
As I understand correctly On several models they use google nav and on a tripper the Enfield nav? chances are the tripper can be Google nav later as well BUT I'd like to see the tripper have an analogue tacho on tft screen integrated as well as option to switch screens.
An upgraded paint sheme is a high risk on a 2nd hand market as well. Only a few would look decent I guess.
Love the looks of those tires! Is your speedo correct now or have you changed sprockets?
    regards, Erik

I'll take this opportunity to make a comment on the 350 Classic. I have test ridden the 350 a few times and found it a GOOD bike but not a GREAT bike. I own a 2019 500 Trials and in my opinion it is the real deal. We're talking about thump and torque. The 2 bikes are chalk and cheese. When I ride the 350 it feels like a bike without a soul. It just hasn't got the X factor. On the positive side it seems to be a better quality bike. If Royal Enfield make a new 500cc Bullet I'll be first in line to buy one. You having owned so many 500's know what I am talking about. I'm just stating my personal opinion.

the extra 7hp is indeed enjoyable on the 500. in my history i made heaps of clips on various 500 mods
in fact i was the very person who discovered through trial and error the double head steady to curb engine vibration in the footpegs.
so yes the 500 is the more powerful bike but not the better bike..lol only my opinion there!

@@ridewithwarro Thanks for the feed back. Some time ago I took your advice and installed a double head steady. I am lucky that the vibrations were minimal from day one - a rarity for a 500. So, when I ride the beast (that I have named MORPHEUS) I hear that beautiful thump and feel the amazing torque and all this with minimal vibration. I am in heaven and I always have a smile on my face. Royal Enfield please produce the 500 again but this time improve the build quality and eliminate the vibrations.. It would be a best seller. Don't get me wrong, the 350 is a great bike but for me it is the 500 that rules.

Hi Warro, that 1 - 5 is a gear position indicator to bring it in line with the Meteor and Hunter models. Onto performance, it may wellbe that Royal Enfield have removed the speed restrictor as part of the 2024 updates, I don't know.🤔 what I do know is that the new Meteor 350 Aurora has had its restrictor removed. I bought a new one here in the UK in March this year and instead of the restrictor cutting in at an indicated 75mph mine continues on. I have had mine showing 83mph on the clock and still the limiter hasn't cut in. I know of another owner with the same model whose bike isn't fitted with the restrictor.
I suppose with all the competition out there with similar cc machines Royal Enfield are going to have to up their game and try and Compete in the performance stakes. I also am on my 3rd Classic 350 Reborn. 2023 model Halcyon Black.🙂👍
