  • In 2021 I was asked to bump Come From Away in to the Capitol Theatre in Sydney... it then became my first commercial show when I was asked to stay on for the season.
I was unfortunately not making content yet while working on this show. So today I am taking you through all of my instagram posts and stories during my time on the show.
This show will always hold a special place in my heart not only for being my first, but for being one of the greatest companies i have had the pleasure of being even a small part of.
    Filmed on Gadigal land.

Come From Away is the most beautiful piece of theatre I've ever seen and is the reason it is the piece of theatre I've seen the most. So cool you got to work on that show.

Fell in love with Come From Away from the cast recording. Finally got to see the touring show in Nashville after COVID lockdown. Took my best friend to see it. Such an awesome show.

What software were you using for monitoring? I recognise “Messages from Radio World” but the other doesn’t look like Wavetool…

The window on the left looks like Sennheiser WSM (Wireless Systems Manager) which is like the Sennheiser version of Shure's Wireless Workbench ie you can monitor AF/RF/Quality and Battery level but not listen into audio. I'd presume that then the window on the right is the equivalent of PFL an input channel I don't recognise the software itself though... it looks like they were using the sennheiser SK5212 transmitters so WSM would make sense. Correct me if I'm wrong though!

Is "Bump In" Australian for "Load In?"

It's always cool to hear the different lingo from country to country. Is it also "bump-out" when a show comes down?
