I adore South Pacific, the musical, the film. You rendition of “this nearly was mine” is so beautiful. It made me cry. You will never be lonely again honey.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fantasztikus. Ennyi érzelmet vinni egy dalba. Fantasztikus. Az ember szeméből kicsordúl a könny. Magyar vagyok nem is fiatal de ilyen előadót még nem láttam hallottam.
I read in an interview or in something he wrote that he was heavily influenced by the music of rodgers & hammerstein, which his parents played at home all the time when he was growing up
Well the beginning, I don't know why but it makes me sad. The beginning of the video makes me feel like he died already and this is like a tribute. It's just supposed to be an instrumental right? They should play that at his funeral its beautiful. It's all incredible.
It IS very sad (and beautiful, too!).This Nearly Was Mine was one of his dad's favorite songs, and he always seemed quite emotional, playing it, in videos I've seen. Street of Dreams, too, he's said, is in part, talking with his dad after his death, and seeking his advice/wisdom when he(Lindsey) was feeling troubled and lost in his own life.
Lindsey only plays it as an instrumental, but it's originally from South Pacific. Search This Nearly Was Mine South Pacific to hear the lyrics. I think it's much sadder/more mournful as an instrumental, though, and of course, Lindsey is a master at conveying emotion.
