First and foremost the statute of limitations has run out on the misdemeanor (2 years) and remove the covid extension which should not withstand legal challenge and the felony charge ( 5 years) is also past the statute of limitations then add in the fact Bragg is trying to use a federal crime to make his felony case, the problem there is the federal government and the Federal Election Commission both have looked at the case and turned it down because there is nothing there and remember the Federal DOJ office that looked at this is the completely liberal Southern District of New York office of the DOJ!
