Borla Cat Back S-Type 2023 TOYOTA TACOMA 2.7 Four
This is the sound in the driveway of my 2023 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 liter four cylinder with a Borla Cat Back S-Type exhaust system. This system has a nice smooth sound to it. The sound under load accelerating remains consistent and a little louder, once you reach your cruising speed the exhaust quiets down and is not intrusive.

Toyota Tacoma 2022/2023 Rear Axle Nut Recall Procedure
Просмотров 6 тыс.6 месяцев назад
More information about the Tacoma rear axle nut recall, the recall procedure at the dealer is as follows: 1. Remove each nut, do this one at a time so the axle does not move and damage the o-ring seal. 2. Once you have a nut removed check the surface of the nut and make sure it is flat, check the area on the axle end plate where the nut seats and make sure there is no weld splatter on the surfa...

Torque spec for the axle nuts is 27 ft lbs check them so see if they are tight, also look for weld spatter around the area of the nuts and make sure the nuts are not tightened on top of weld spatter which will keep them from seating flat against the axle housing. All of my nuts were tight and are seated flat on the axle housing so...

I removed the aftermarket TRD Pro style grille and TSS garnish sensor cover and replaced them with an OEM TRD Pro Grille and OEM TSS garnish sensor cover, I have found the OEM quality is better t...
New method to secure Tacoma TRD Pro Grille Garnish Cover
Просмотров 12011 месяцев назад
I found a new method to secure the garnish cover for the TSS sensor on TRD Pro grilles, instead of fighting those push on lock washers that Toyota uses take a 5/16 course die and cut threads into the two posts that the push on lock washers slide onto. Then use two 5/16 course nuts on the two newly threaded posts. The push on lock washers are a pain to fully seat them. The nuts will solve this i...

Tacoma J&L Oil Catch Can Extension Tube 6oz Capacity Total
Просмотров 62Год назад
J&L Catch Can Extender To Hold 6oz of Oil. I used a little bit of Permatix Blue Threadlocker on the original can and the extender to help to keep it locked onto the extension tube. That will allow me to replace the o ring some day as it ages. The extension tube then screws onto the oil separator unit and seals with the o ring just like the original can did.

I bought a red cheep one. Finishing was fine, besides the need to drilled as well, and since the angle of 99% of the drill bits have a flatter angle than the hardened pointy tip, the is no need to make the point sharper. To reduce the swinging time, you can add some thicker oil or grease. that will stick a bit and helps to take out the energy.
I agree, registration was a pain. Print on instructions is ridiculously small.
Using WiFi only Registration was a Breeze. USB was for the previous version without WiFi or if WiFi isnt available
Draining power will not erase a permanent code.
Are you still liking the rims? How does the quality seem? Thanks.
The rims still look great and are easy to clean, I am happy with them. The Yokohama Geolander A/T tires are also preforming very well. American Racing did a good job on this rim.
@@mustangecoboosthpp3869 Thanks. I think I want the same one but with the chrome finish.
I had to return $60 amazon red wheel balancer. Reason: I have a 16" wheel & on the sticker it says it can only balance maximum a 15" wheel.
Doing this right now. Less than $15 total on Amazon. 10-pack resistors
Good video and it seems like a great idea But I have owned the same exact compressor for about seven years And the stock switch has been perfect. Never a problem. However, the Baldor motor burned out the wirings Completely fried I just recently replaced the motor with a WEG 5hp. So far so good
Will a 1 ohm 100watt Resistor be to much for the draining process are do i need to just leave on for less time
i seen the Road Kings trailer vs the MNT trailers but not side by side know anyone who does? cus MNT trailer are cool but $1000 metal and a PIN for the 5th Wheel....I don't think so brother....
Where can I get that trailer ?
MNTrailers.com, it is a family owned business out of Romania, you can also do a search on eBay MNTrailers might have a listing on eBay for them as well. Here is their eBay listing: www.ebay.com/itm/276521285671?_skw=1%2F18+scale+Smokey+and+the+Bandit+trailer&itmmeta=01J93RWRXRWQDBFNREYT0WX452&hash=item4061f3f827:g:aXkAAOSwefphUVhh&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA4HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnARquk%2Bss7hZx19acHGhKUKlQlg4M3FSaz1NWLREGr1QjZeI%2Bwp2oDjHCS%2BxRgSVtZX2wcUVEmyEQVvFXPP6yIzQm8nGHTaageJ%2BCBpRtRGL08G%2BNiNrmYW8Orr67%2FKLokh3B2r83trJHC99Jjv%2FsBZaYP8QIw3vdn99R7T7PvCIjusMYNfFmCUYGwzVLARVBJ6YNrqc7mfjGN0MeQ5Vfhx%2FI%2BcohVZnCVHwja1W7ggNzhYyFLWxFgq8JmpoSflpGIno8CHXSSff9w9%2FyQczDN%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_yO8_jIZA
1) Drill underside as described and/or grind sharper taper on pin, making sure to leave centers untouched. Clean and lube. 2) Measure distances between balancer head flanges at 4 rods. I cut gasket paper shims to install under circlips to equalize distances after re-assembly of Step 3. Needed? Maybe not but it's a freebie. This does assume precision of the Chinese springs. 3) Remove bubble chamber, screws, washer and spring. Flip balancer head upside down on two 2X4s. Remove 4 circlips taking care with spring tension, particularly w/the last one. Circlips are cheap, unspringy and will need squeezing later to restore fit. Set 4 coil springs aside and check fit/spacing of rods into holes of head flange. One video showed bad misalignment and binding. Mine was accurate in all 4 positions and slid fully w/out binding. I ran a PVC pipe brush in the flange holes and cleaned deposits on rods (500 wet/dry), then greased very lightly. Reassemble w/any Step 2 shims and recheck distances. 4) Spin the balancer head on pin and check concentricity of black circle to spin axis. Adjust bubble chamber sideways as needed within the fit gap. Mark bubble disc edge and head where closest with paint spots. 5) Center bubble in ring with adjustment screws. Watch for deviation while head slowly rotates with its own momentum. Spinning fast will bring out any dynamic imbalance of head and cause lunging. Base flange should spin true. Bubble should repeatably self-center after swinging. The center dot on mine looks slightly off so I ignore it. 6) Set wheel gently down and centered on taper. Note bubble position and re-center wheel with a few more attempts. If bubble reads the same, lay weights on wheel to center bubble, then pick up wheel and reposition 180* to see if bubble is still centered. Try to get the wheel onto the taper w/out much sideways motion of the floating upper flange. This would be less critical with better rod/hole fit and bearings, but we went w/Harbor Freight for a reason. When a wheel gives inconsistent readings at 180*, I recalibrate the black ring and bubble. The bubble chamber can move, so check center for each tire/wheel and with any anomalous results. This usually works.
This guy is full of crap not even having a 10K scanner can erase permanent codes also no dealer will clear permanent codes so he think someone can erase those so no body can unless you get to the map pack of the ECU code and do it all lies here😅
Wow what a word salad you just posted. Yes expensive scanners can erase permanent codes, dealers also can erase permanent codes and yes many vehicles this diode can erase permanent codes, while this may not work on every vehicle depending on how the manufacture is storing the code it does work on many vehicles. If you could not erase a permanent code the check engine light would never go out.
It’s best to show us how it’s done instead of yapping about it just saying but appreciate the information
Could you please provide the dimensions length, height and width of the truck with trailer? Thanks for your help 😀
It is a case that is very hard to move, you can get all the specs at MNTrailers.com
Skip to 3:50 to avoid the useless rant
Those trailers are awesome
This guy may need a stiff drink. Just a tad shaky today.
Nice JD you got there!
Did you had to do indexing on the bulbs for the low beam also?
Yes the bulbs are indexed, the instructions are clear and tell you the bulb needs to be installed. It is very easy to do.
I bought a 2022 Sr access with 5k miles a month ago. So far I’ve added the tail gate defender, the OEM black tail pipe, rough country seat covers, center cubby organizer, husky weather mats, blacked out toyota emblem in the steering wheel, booster and air compressor, 2022 trd off road wheels and tires (used from a buddies Tacoma), and 20% tint. Very happy with it so far. Next on my list are the soft roll tonneau, bed mat, fog lights and ditch lights. Maybe running boards after that.
What running board are those?
I purchased my running boards from Summit racing, these are Raptor running boards. They are very high quality but a word about running boards, if I had it to do over I would have purchased a set with a step instead, the reason is the cab is not tall and this style running board puts you so far up that you have to relearn how to get in and out with this style running board. The ones with a step that is a little lower on the running board would make entry and exit a little easier. Having said that I do not regret purchasing the Raptor running boards because they are a quality product that will last the life of the truck. I have adjusted how I get in and exit the cab and I have no desire to replace these running boards. I am happy with them.
Great video and thanks for the tip on drilling the 5th wheel to fit the pin.. How long are these trailers (BJ and Smokey)
This trailer is 30.31 inches long.
The BJ and the Bear I think was 28 inches long.
Thanks for this video you have a great collection!
Interesting about being torqued wrong from factory. In the comment section of another video a guy said he check his himself, he said it seems like they were more at 25 then 41. I had mine done and they said it was fine, but now the thumping that I heard and felt when breaking is gone, so that tells me they weren't at proper torque. What frustrating is that I have taken this truck in 3 times for scheduled service, and each time I told them I can hear and feel a thump coming from the rear when I break, they did nothing about it.
Once again thanks for the video..
Soo coool!
After 9 months do you still recommend these tires?
Tires are very good, I would buy them again. No issues with them they handle good on both dry and wet pavement. The are not noisy, the tread is quiet on the road.
Great video. Helped me determine if the SR was compatible!
Glad it helped you.
just bought the new harbor freight balancer, its got a black base and is 99$. pittsburgh brand. its super nice, just like yours.
You boomers will always find a way to waste money. Youre lucky you were born into a time of excess, you wouldnt survive being young today.

Work like a charm!
Beware of these covers if you intend to own your truck for an extended period of time. I put one on my 2017 Honda Ridgeline shortly after I bought the truck. After six years the rubber seals between the panels began to deteriorate and tear. I called the manufacturer to buy replacement seals for the panels and they told me they do not sell the seals but would happily sell me a new cover with a discount. Horrible customer service and just plain terrible business practices. I would not recommend these covers explicitly because of the problem and the customer service
Do they offer the exhaust tip in black or just chrome ?
They also have the exhaust tip in black.
Thanks for posting this. Very helpful info on battery issue. I might have to keep checking on the battery life more often. I will charge it when it’s half full.
Couldn't figure out where to hook them. Thank you.
Harry was my favorite driver too‼️And he always will be‼️ I hope he gets a chance to see your work, I'm sure he'd be tickled! Thanks for never forgetting "The Bandit"‼️‼️ I've been shouting from the mountaintops to anyone who would listen, put Harry in The Hall Of Fame while he, his wonderful family, and legions of fans can still enjoy it ‼️‼️ Let's face it, without Harry in The Hall Of Fame, it's really The Hall Of Shame ‼️33/7🇺🇸🏁
Dose this work on a diesel with 2 batteries?
you would need to disconnect both batteries, depending on the year and manufacture how they store the permanent codes this may work and it may not work. If they are storing the code by writing to memory then you will have to use a computer to erase it, if it is stored in flash memory that requires power they it should erase the code. Like anything else some manufactures make it as hard as possible to erase these codes. One other thing is the problem has to be corrected before erasing the code or the code will still show up.
thank you very much!
What are the bolts used
You can purchase them at hobby shops, they are used for radio controlled airplanes and such. They work fine for this application. You can also go to Home Depot or Lowe's or ACE Hardware and buy something similar.
Dari sewaktu kecil pengen punya, smape sekarang tidak tercapai..
I’m sorry this does not work. I did it on a 2020 mustang exactly like u said and it die NOT work
Good info. Doesn't seem like a bid deal.
For a new trucks it has a lot of problems
People always forget about his late model career. Jack Ingram got in the hall based on his late model career.

Every nut needs pulled and inspected under nut for slag. This is way you don’t go by RUclips for professional issues. Take it to your dealer! You run the risk of catastrophic failure.
Pull and replace one nut at a time. Do not remove all at one time.
Thank you
