Doing punch needle on jeans is super fun and surprisingly easy! I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial, please let me know if there are any other clothes you'd like to know how to do punch needle on!
Thank you Crystal. I was about to give up on this for No video tutorial I watched explained using the glue, and my stitches kept coming out. Thank you again for sharing all info with us.❤
So glad I found this video. I was watching another video where they said you can’t use this type of embroidery on clothing. So good to know that just a little bit of fabric glue and you’re all set.
I am SO glad I found your channel, and this video is THE one I needed. I’m embellishing/upcycling jeans for foster kids, and I wanted to know if punch needle embroidery would hold in the wash. This will be so much easier than getting my hand and a sewing needle in the pants’ legs. THANK YOU!!
I just found your video. I have a punch needle but didnt understand the written instructions. Ive had it for many many years but couldn't figure it out. Thank you for the great instructional video. Now ill get some punching don correctly. Great video.
So glad I found you March North! This is the first video from the channel I’ve watched and I loved it so much that I subscribed! I just had my very first punch needle delivered today YaY! but the monks cloth won’t arrive for a few more days. Couldn’t wait so I looked for other fabrics this technique works on. Incredibly happy to see your video showing how it turns out on denim. Definitely going to start watching your previous videos tutorials so I have my best start. Thank you so very much! I’d love to learn from your tutorials about different fabrics that punch needle well and different applications and projects to beautify the home. ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦
Hi, is it long-lasting? I want to sell embroidery with punch needle in tote bags, but I’m not sure if its really that long lasting with the glue. Thank you
I’ve also made a sweatshirt with a punch needle design on the front and it’s been through the washing machine a million times and it’s totally fine! Here’s a link to the tutorial so you can see how I made it super secure- I think the same technique would work for a tote bag. www.marchingnorth.com/punch-needle-sweatshirt/
I have seen a couple youtube video's where they punch from the front and have the loops at the back. So the front is the front. You punch from the back and you have the loops as the front side. Why is that? Are they doing it wrong or is it personal whatever they like? (Sorry for my crappy english, i hope you understand what i mean)
Both ways are right, but the way with the loops on the front is the traditional way to do punch needle. The technique with the flat side on the front and loops on the back is more of a modern style. I do it both ways for different applications! Hope that helps!

Do it in shirt please
Are you using all 4 strands of the thread?
How about a hoodie or a sweater? I want to make one and give it as a gift to a friend on her birthday ☺️
I thought punch needle only worked on monks cloth 🤭
Can you punch needle on a sweatshirt? If so, I would love to see a video about that!!

The inside of your punched jeans is their outside. So you dont see loops.

@@MarchingNorth yes it helps, thank you so much! (:
Could I do this on a 100% cotton hat?
is that glue safe to to wash is it like very water resistant?
Yea it’s washable fabric glue- I’ve washed it hundreds of times with no problems 😊😊😊
Is you glue dryer safe and what brand
Yes it is- I use Aleene’s OK to Wash It
@@MarchingNorth thank you
How has this stood the test of a year?
Nice!!!, is it not ichy the glue when you touch the skin when you wearing?
The fabric glue I used isn’t itchy (or at least I haven’t found it to be) 😊
Nearly everytime I pul the needle out, it pulls the thread out with it. Am I this bad at this? Lol
Where do you put the glue I’m a little confused?
On the back side
My string won't stay :(♡ thanks for vid
I’m sorry to hear that! I have a post about troubleshooting that might help www.marchingnorth.com/how-punch-needle-stays/

Can you just buy that punch needle rather than the fabric? Your husband going to wear those with the heart on it?
