I like how most people claim the plane dropped a certain amount of feet, but have no way of measuring it, they just claim it was hundreds or even thousands of feet.
Dropping 500 ft risks you hitting the aircraft flying below you. That cannot be accepted. Ditto for the aircraft flying above yours. Nowadays, precision is so great that a vertical separation of only 500 ft can be used, _as long as under Radar Control._ Over the Ocean, without Radar coverage and slower communications, separations must increase three times and as Controller you are precluded to shove as many aircraft in the same Airway and Flight Level, for safety's sake, or in no time they would be getting dangerously close. You must check their speeds constantly. It works well and as a last ditch you also have the TCAS, which will make sure that your aircraft will never hit another providing the systems in either aircraft are turned on and at least _one_ of the pilots reacts properly even if the other stays passive. (there is no need for both to react properly but the other pilot must do _nothing_ This is because many light aircraft have Transponders, that trip the TCAS, but have no aural _Resolution Advisory_ and therefore remain unaware of what is happening) I was ATCo all my life. Had enough! 🤯

Here's a good tip for you nervous flyers afraid of turbulent moments in-flight. Assure that you've been seated near the back of the fuselage, as you can hear flight attendants remain chill and laugh during turbulence. If turbulence occurs, and you're worried, have a look on the seatbelt sign displayer above your seat. If the seatbelt sign is off, it means that the turbulent feeling you get, is just a slight wind overspeed happening that passes by in just a matter of a few seconds. Regularly check the seatbelt sign, whenever you hear a ding played throughout the cabin's speakers. Whenever you notice the seatbelt sign trigger, fasten your seatbelt for your personal safety. Turbulence has only once cause a non-fatal plane crash within a timeline of 100 years.

Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
@@CapizFlier No problem!
You should still strap in, even when the sign is off
@grassytramtracks you are absolutely right. Its always best to be in the side of prudence and caution. Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. ❤️
My years of War Thunder Experience: mmm nice coffee. How wonderful and relaxed day I have 😂😂
I was gonna say those clouds looks like it was my view everytime I went to The Philippines and it really is! It sucks going back home
The “oh yeah”😂
That was, possibly, 6 feet fall. Not even 7, for sure
100 feet is equal to a 9 or 10 story building. That was a couple of inches and an assist from the camera operator.
As a kid i was on a flight from JFK to Fort Lauderdale I believe it was and the plane dropped way more than this. Like we all had a heart attack. It dropped like 500 plus feet or more. It was esever enough that the captain came back to inspect the wings. Thats when I met him and he gave me a gold pin with wings.
@@pilotboy217 wow! Thats an awesome experience with the captain! Did you get to keep the gold pin?
Most turbulence drops are mere feet. Just feels that way.
Thank you!
Bro I would have pee on myself ion gaf wat no body gon say or say my life was about to end tf😂😂😂
Being scared of Turbulence is wild LOL
Yea turbulence is scary no matter what! Haha 😂
R.i.p. to the airplane and people
I’m never an atheist in an airplane
You are not alone! Hahaha! Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment! ❤️
😂😂😂😂
Most turbulence feels like big roller-coaster ups and downs, but they're really small dips and rises. A few feet at most.
Your comment helped so many nervous fliers inclduing myself. It eased my anxiety and somehow provided clarity. Thank you so much!
That's your in-flight entertainment
Ahahaha! The kind that I dont enjoy really. Hehehe thanks for watching and for leaving a nice comment, @jettschenker! ❤️
Dont know why people scream. The planes are designed for it
Had a similar experience. Guess what? Same carrier and aircraft too hahahaha ICN-MNL on PAL A321. I was enjoying it, weirdly, and everyone around me was praying 😂
Aww you are incredibly amazing! ❤️❤️❤️
Don’t worry as long as there’s 34,900 feet of air below you.
Thank you 😘
WoW amazing video.. much scream wow.. drop 10 feet wow amazing content wow keep it up
Thank you! ❤️
Pilot 1: waana hear turkey sound
Pilot 2 : yes
It makes the whole flight even more fun✈️✈️
And exciting! Haha! Thanks for watching my video and for leaving a comment. ❤️
That one guy: “hohoho yeaaah”
You mean the wing dropped, on the other side they went up, you went down
That’s nothing my plane was taking off from a Cuban city when we had cloud turbulence and you want to hear people scream people were throwing up people were screaming people were crying that was a drop I will never forget.
Im sure it felt really scary at that time. Thank you for sharing your experience! Take care! 😘❤️
When I’m flying and turbulence happens,it is the screem of the people that scares the crap out of me,not the turbulence.
Im terrified of both turbulence and people panicking. Lol. Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. ❤️
I would’ve shat myself😅😅😅
You would barely notice those drops on the planes altimeter.
I wish it didnt translate into human feelings and emotions tho! Lol! Thanks for watching! ❤️
How scary, many passengers, flight crew, steuredess, probably got injured, were the pilot, and
co-pilot able to get up in the air?
They should call the air control tower, because the samething happened to Hawaiian airlines. Marcie
It's no turbulence, just a normal cloud descent.
Thank you!
That's Philippine Airlines...I experience the same going to Cebu while holding a coffee being served😢
Oh sorry to hear that. When did you experience that. I noticed that turbulence has become worst nowadays. Its the weather. Hey thanks for watching and for leaving a comment. If its not too much to ask, please do subscribe too. Thank you. ❤️💐
I ain't gonna lie. My hands get all sweaty when that happens 😅
Agree! Hahaha! Thank you for watching my video! ❤️
I wish I was the "whoa ohh yeeeeaaahhh!" guy in turbulence
Hahahaha yasss! Thank you for watching and for leaving a fun comment! ❤
I'm sure the pilots dislike it as bad as the passengers.
They dislike that it spills their coffee, that's about it.
Try taking off from Reno Nevada in the winter time you will get turbulence the min the plane ✈️ gets in the Air flying sideways and bouncing as you climb out!
Passengers: 😭😭😭😭💀💀😱😱😱
Pilots:😎🍻
Cabin crew:🤓😌😌😌
Avgeeks: bro why y'all screaming fr.🗿🗿
When u go through clouds, think like u gonna cross a bumper
Hello there, Randombeing555. You are correct. I often think of it as that whenever the aircraft starts shaking due to airpockets. Thank you for watching my video and for leaving a comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️
Id be surprised if that was a 5 foot drop. Flying into the Phillipines with the amount of storms always there is always a roller coaster ride.
I feel like “Passengers scream!” Is a bit of an overstatement. Not sure if you said that just to get a little more attention, or you just didn’t know any other way to describe there reaction
Yea, I was there when it happened and passengers did scream. Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment.
I just felt the exact same thing in my flight last week😂😂
Awww tell us about it! 😊
@@CapizFlier nothing , I was calm , although that was my 4th flight overall , From Imphal to Kolkata , in a Air India express A320 CEO . Almost the whole flight was turbulent . Previous 3 times I didn't face any terbulance when I flew with Indigo but this time the weather was cloudy .Pilots told to keep the seat belts fastened .I already saw some videos regarding it in YT so I was calm and enjoying it .But the guy to my right was constantly anxious and swearing the pilots as if they caused it .And the girl to my left was very anxious too and praying .But I was laughing looking at them 🤣🤣.But still when it dropped 100 feet at once even my heart skipped a beat but nevertheless I enjoyed that 😂
Im glad that the YT videos helped you remain calm amidst the turbulent flight. I would have honestly felt anxious the entire time as well regardless of all the "education" about turbulence because i just dont feel confortable with turbulence. It scares me every single time as if it was the first ive experienced it. Haha. Thank you for sharing your experience with us here. I wish you more enjoyable and safe flights in the future! ❤️
@@CapizFlier thank you , and wish you the same too ❤️
@SomrupDeRailfanning take care!
Lmao 100ft? That’s a small 10-14 story building. More like 1-2ft
How scary, many passengers, flight crew, steuredess, probably got injured, were the pilot, and
co-pilot able to get up in the air?
They should call the air control tower, because the samething happened to Hawaiian airlines. Marcie P. S. Are all of them okay, if they recovered , question were the co-pilot and senior pilot trained on what to do, when there is turbelence? They should be trained in that too!
Hello Laraamadeo5301! Fortunately no one was injured that day and the Flight crew and pilots were alright. Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. Please subscribe for more videos! Thank you and take care! ❤️
It's just an air pocket, no big deal!
I think 100 feet would be the limit for modern commerciat jets
that one gut OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Hehehe yeaaa! Thank you for watching! ❤️
clouds are way denser than air because they are made of water. and dense doesn't mix well with non-dense, it makes turbulence.
Thank you.
Me knowing that turbulence is like a dirt road; I'd have my hand in the air 😂
You're really cool, I like that! Its funny but turbulence is almost always makin me grip the armrest of my seat, or sometimes the hand of the next person seated (even strangers), thats how nervous I get everytime. Hey thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it. Hope you can subscribe to my channel too. 😘❤️
@@CapizFlier Think I will 😊😆
Awww thank you! Haha! Take care! 😘❤️
Flew once , decided never to fly again . I have flight anxiety
@@nub_vader8524 sorry to hear that! I hope you would reconsider in the future. I wish you all the best! ❤
MY brain when i see this brain: FEDEX FLIGHT
Don't worry unless they tell the flight crew to buckle up
Pilots: 😐😐😐

Pasangers:😭😱😭😱
Hahaha thanks for this! Take care! 😘❤️
Bro is using calculator to calculate the height drop.
Typical day in Florida between may and September flying
Happened on my way back from a vacation, there was a lot more turbulence than on the way there because of a storm and I literally freaked out the entire ride, it was only my second time to be fair and the first time was much less bumpy
Awww! Its never ideal to travel whenever there's a storm. From takeoff to descent up to landing, its horribly turbulent. I know the feeling because Ive experienced it myself. Whoaa! Anyway, glad you landed safe! Thanks for watching my video! Please do like and subscribe. Thank you! 🥰😍😘
Lord i dropped 1000 feet once i thought it was fun but everyone was screaming like the world was coming to an end 😂
I would have been one of those screeming. Haha. Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment. Have a good one! 😘
100ft isn't that much, a plane usually descends at around 2500fp/m that is equal to about 40fp/s, what makes it feel more than it is is probably the plane hitting some wind which make it bounce (similar to a landing)
