      It'll be tough, because it's not just his perfect acting - you need a proper stage. The Sopranos wasn't perfect, but it was a great background that gave him 80 hours to portray the deepest character we'll ever see. No novel or movie can do that deep a dive into a character. And TV is hamstrung by censorship, dying interest, talent that sees it as second best, etc. IDK if we'll see another Tony Soprano anytime soon

    • @pharaohsmagician8329
      @pharaohsmagician8329 6 месяцев назад

      They love their pets and animals because the animals can be controlled and dominated and used as an outlet for emotion they want to express, while other humans would be disgusted at the violent displays of emotion from evil people who kill and butcher. These crazy type people always love animals because animals don't have human tongues and humans minds. The animal doesn't know what evil things the bad person does and doesn't speak or talk back or offer up opinions. They see the animal as living stuffed animals to control and rule their lives. These are the same types of people who cut off their dogs ears for aesthetic reasons or breed dogs that have torubke breathing because they think it looks cute. Point is they like to pretend their affection towards animals is some kind of deep hidden virtue that's supposed to compensate for all the evil they do while they walk around the rest of the Earth. Tony wasn't he always polluting and dumping chemicals into the ocean in his business as well? These guys are virtue signaling when it comes to animals it's just an extension of their crazy evil not a contrast to it. @@mikedawolf95

      It’s sad Ralphie doesn’t get talked about enough in The Sopranos sphere, maybe because of Tracey but he truly embodied intelligence, wit, balls and leadership skills that none of the crew had. Him alongside Vito and the strength of someone like Furio, they could have formed an impenetrable family. It's unfortunate that trivial issues interfered with what could have been the foundation of a powerful family. Joe Pantoliano deserves more recognition for his exceptional acting. He not only stole every scene but delivered every line with remarkable skill.

    Tony took all the winnings. In that situation, what motivation does Ralph have to keep the horse around? The horse is costing him money to upkeep, and he can’t make money from it. So I suspect he would torch the place and get the insurance money. That way he can get out of the situation, and recoup some money back. Tony killed Ralph for a situation he himself was responsible for.

    The Episode ‘Pie-O-My’ is on my Bottom 10 episodes list: Number 7 on my bottom list. I hesitate to say ‘worst’ list because the worst Soprano’s episode is better than most other series ‘best.’ So I judge them only within the context of ‘best’ and ‘worst’ of ‘The Sopranos.’ Btw, my number one ‘worst’ Sopranos episode is ‘A Hit is a Hit’-‘Meeeow’!

    • @ceerious
      @ceerious  6 месяцев назад +2

      My worst was probably s3 ep 1. ill get back to you on more. I didnt hate a hit is a hit that much. it sucked cause it didn't really tie into anything, while s3 ep1 did. so im conflicted lol

      @@ceerious Yeah, a lot of people have trouble with ‘Mr. Ruggerio’s Neighborhood,’ but I must say I liked it, because it was very different, and I liked the sort of Keystone Cops atmosphere and the Peter Gun theme used to great effect.
