Just realized that Bi-Han will be playable again for the first time since MK2. OG Sub-Zero
He was playable as sub zero in mk9. If you change to his alt outfit that bi han wears in the story his mannerisms and voice change

He's reincarnated. I think this was done go have him closer to the real life Raiden since he is the God of Lightning in Japan. Still yeah this is kind of iffy still since race swapping has gotten out of control recently.

Yeah he had a stereotypical Asian male straw hat outfit so it makes sense. MK made it cool. They also cast him as Asian in the previous MK movie too!
I mean the straw hat makes perfect since tbh..maybe in this timeline Liu kang actually made him Asian instead of throwing a straw hat on a white man 😅
agree. but i can't say the same about Kitana tho. i still prefer her MK11 face because she looks very asian there. this new Kitana doesn't look as much.
@@Rupix15 i think she still looks Asian when you look at Mileena which is Kitana's clone. When you look at the trailer Mileena's face is shown. Kitana was fully masked the whole time so lets wait until the next trailer. I think she looked more Southeast Asian here. Her VA in MK11 was Filipina btw. To me her face looked similar to the one in MK11 so idk.

Raiden in model in MK 1 look like Kung Lao. THE Kung Lao in MK1 looks more like Raiden. They should definitely swap the two tbh

I understand why Raiden is different, but MK11 Raiden will always be my favourite. I'm also scared of the fact Richard Epcar might not return to voice him.

Seriously they nerfed my favorite character. He was so badass as dark Raiden basically doing everything to protect earth realm which is the weakest

Fun Fact: Mortal Raiden still able to fight without his lightning powers, Fire God Liu Kang knew that Raiden's best fighting weapon was "Staff" which it introduced in MK11, so after the new era begins Liu Kang trained Mortal Raiden to fight using the "Wooden Staff" and some fighting moves. It would be interesting what Mortal Raiden can cable of without his powers, can't wait to for MK1 gameplay.

MK11 looks a lot better, the character models look like real people aside from texture maps. The character models look generic in MK1, like a comic book artist that knows only how to draw one face, then changes skin color and hair like we won’t notice.
How is Shang Tsung in the new game? I thought Liu Kang Erased him at the end of aftermath, he even says “no more timelines will be twisted by your evil!”
