this looks a step up from the MK animated series but not by much. Kitana looks Horrible Kitana in the Old series actually looks better. That said why are the characters so ugly? This was from WB. I never knew them to make an Ugly animated movie looking like this.

The characters are not ugly, it's the artstyle that makes them look more angular in order to add more "sharpness' to their movements.
