What impresses me most is how he does it while streaming and interacting with his chat. The amount of pressure you must receive while competing against the best players in the world and still interact with his chat the way he does it is phenomenal to watch.
hi lithuanian
Agread
I feel he is just deadened to the pressures most of us would feel because he is in his comfort zone at home streaming.
Well thats probably also his strength. Streaming made him more resistant to that kinda pressure.
The guy with the most wins, Scrapie does most of them on stream too. I think they are used to it tbh
I have never watched this guy or even played this game ever, but this is extremely entertaining dude, good shit
same bro but this was exciting lol
Same here
lol...same... i was like why is this on my feed; then 15mins later... very well done vid.
RUclips is scary with their algorithms like that sometimes.
Like, I have no interest in racing games, don't really watch streamers, closest I go to Trackmania was watching a reddit read video with it in the bg.
And still I just spent 15 minutes emotionally invested in something I knew the result of from the start. XD
Same, don’t play the game but I’m still binge watching his videos

@@RaindropsBleeding i don't think you can say he mastered that, because that would take training that line specifically. More so that he is just an incredibly skilled driver and he can pull things like that when he needs to, and has the judgement to say when he needs to.

Bro just copied someone’s comment 💀
@@daandyen Yeah, I don't get it. Maybe the account was hacked at that time and one of those sex bots posted copied top comments with it, you surely know them, they're still doing it today.
What I also don't get, though, is how such a rather generic comment gets so many likes, twice.
ngl, that last round was actually the most intense 38 seconds i've seen. like actually gave me an adrenaline rush.
welcome to the trackmania end game zone were ya got people of so much skill they will nuke every person but other pros out of existance.
I'm fairly sure at this point that everyone underestimates Wirtual. Including himself. Just... bravo man. Third cup under your belt. You might need to buy a trophy case!
Wirtual is pretty good consistently able to be in div 1. But he doesn't specialize as much as some of the other top players so while he has the chance to win he tends to be the underdog.
He's not bad and saying underdog is a bit of an underestimating of his skill he's definitely a top player.
As the video states. He never got first until the last round meaning if any other round was the last round he would have lost. He wasn't the beat player but he was consistent and good enough (again saying good enough feels like understanding his skill)
Comment above says it pretty well, wirtual as a content creator tends to play a wider variety of maps without specializing as much. He’s always gonna be an underdog, but never counted out
@@holyhandgrenade5 indeed, a jack of all trades, master of none.
@@thundrr1929 He has mastered one style. Weird tracks. ;D

As someone who never really watches much Esports or similar, there's something really fascinating about watching a COTD vid.
I don't really watch any eSports, asides from trackmania I guess. There's just something about the track and the car making its way that fascinates me
It's because it's so accessible I think. Other games have complex rules and things that the viewer must know as a prerequisite. In trackmania the skill ceiling is still there for players with all the tricks like the precise speedslide angles mentioned, but it's way more captivating as a viewer because "car go faster" is all you need to be equipped with to engage with the content
@@gigitrix thats exactly what I was thinking. Wirtual really plays into that idea of accessibility by taking 2-3 minutes at the beginning of this video to explain mechanics and divisions before getting into it. He never really does that in his other videos, at least for so long and with a voiceover. He is definitely trying to allow this video to be seen and understood by a wider audience since he feels this one has a greater chance of success because he actually won. It's a good strategy, and it clearly worked based on the original comment here.
@@liamlifts What you mentioned about the wider audience is exactly what we need in game communities. This allows new players to come in and keep games fresh. Although i don't really like racing games Wirtual made me try the new trackmania and I am still entertained by his content. We need more CCs like Wirt.
Once I found out COTD started at noon my time I started watching a couple of streamers do it. It's just fun to see how far they go. The entire COTD including practice only lasts about 45 minutes.
As someone who have played TMN from the time it released and on and off for a few hours here and there, this is extremely impressive. I can barely go through one track without hitting a wall. GG dude, this was fun to watch.
You say it like not hitting walls is hard
@@vidsguy That's not what they're saying lmao
This was such a great narrative. Just the fact that this guy didn’t reach sub-37 seconds until the very last round was just incredible.

Sadly not true. He got 37:991 at 7:51, so the exact time he pulled of in the final.

Yeah, couldn't believe what happened in the last round.
Alternate title: "Wirtual once again winning a trackmania tournament he had no business winning"
Congrats man! You've earned it!!
And now he won another one, ON ICE. Against Micka and other players who regarly top the leaderboards without much competition. What a legend
The storytelling in all of these videos is top notch. I've only ever played a total of maybe 20 minutes of trackmania 10 years ago and I don't plan to play again because everyone is just too good now, but I still watch all these videos.
I honestly don't understand how you make me care so much about a game I've never played. I've literally never seen anybody else play this, watched a trailer or seen any form of gameplay. I don't even like racing games.
Yet I watch every single video you release, and I'm genuinely so invested in every video. They are like mini films. I have no idea how you make this videos so intriguing and entertaining, but fair play, you've absolutely nailed it.
same I saw him from someone elses vid that's not even about this game and now I watch all his vids

I dropped my home cinema.
*I dropped my AMC.*
i dropped my baby

I dropped my pants in the middle of the church
Like you mentioned, in a format like this, consistency is key. Being able to be exactly on point in every run is better than getting top marks in one or two runs, and not being able to repeat it.
Or to put it another way: "I don't need to win... I just need to make sure everyone else loses." And with this, a crucial 0.02 seconds difference is all it took.
Great video with awesome editing and concise explanations that allow new viewers to understand what's important without spending too much time getting into details.

@@nakit_muusilla are u saying he won cause he knew the map?
Yes. And there's this "gentleman rule" that authors don't compete in their own maps. Everyone always gets extremely salty when this happens, including Wirtual.
@@nakit_muusilla I know, but he said he only played cause a bunch of other people also knew the map, and if he was the only one he wouldn't have played it

Me who never even heard of this game in my life: ah yes, a fascinating show of determination and skill.
This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20.
Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God.
Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!
Congratulations, Wirtual! What a win. You’re slowly redefining “pulling a Wirtual” as clutching it when it matters the most.
