Bruh, there are SOOOO many "over reactors" on RUclips it's ridiculous. I've been watching ur reactions for almost a year now. And ur DEFINITELY not one. Watching u grow, in lack of a better term, from checking out different types of music to actually really liking a lot of them has been incredible. It's been like a journey for me also. I'm really thankful that I found ur channel. It's gonna be GR8 watching ur success grow over the next few years. Keep doing what you do bro!! NOW, you may proceed.

I've GOT to say anyone who has seen a Nightwish comment video with Floor Jansen and somebody seems to "overeact", it's all REAL baby, I'd say anyone who hears Nightwish LIVE with Floor Jansen sing "Ever dream" or "Ghost love score" and doesn't feel an overwhelming thrust of emotion that brings you to tears, you are DEAD. I will say MAYBE some "tough guy" can NOT cry outright BUT he's going to get a HUGE ulcer or something holding it in.

As a european who's been to festivals and concerts all over, even most of the devil music that actually is satanic isn't singing about those dark themes because ''We're edgy evildoers and satan is cool!'', there's almost always a deeper message about life in their dark music.

I was an abused child that ran away from home in the early 90's. A friend of mine introduced me to Metallica then, through this song, and I've been listening ever since. This is my favorite song of all time. Yes I listen to all sorts of music depending on my mood, but nothing I've heard had impacted me the way this song does. Glad people are still discovering this song and enjoying it as much as I do.

Very cool to see you appreciate old Metallica. Every song you listen to looks like you're opening a new gift on Christmas morning. Lol. I been a fan since I was 10. Back in 83. 1983 that is. Master of puppets is still my favorite album they did. James hetfield wrote this song about his and Lars (the drummer) friendship. Awesome to see your reactions to these songs. Keep em coming.

"Rock and roll gods" is so true. I started playing drums in a garage band in the late 80s all through the 90s, and Lars Ulrich was my percussion idol. I started playing with double bass because of him, which helped me immensely. At 39 years old, his style is still reflected in whatever I'm playing and whoever I'm playing with. As a musician, Metallica was a personal hero. As musicians themselves, Metallica is a timeless legend.
Gotta give props to your channel while I'm at it, BRAAAAAAHHH!

First of all, much respect for breaking the stereotype lines to check out heavy metal groups such as Metallica. That is pretty awesome, and I sincerely admire it.
You have checked out a few cool Metallica songs, and it may be to your surprise, but that is just the tip of the iceberg with them. They have soooo many awesome songs! Here are a few suggestions with a rough description for each.
Sad But True: They are so "tight" in this song! The main groove is killer. (For a good chuckle, check out Snoop Dog's version)
Welcome Home sanitarium: Roller coaster of emotion. Calm ----> Crazy and back. Cool change up around 3:30.
Unforgiven: Easy, smooth song like Nothing else matters and Fade to black, I know you like those two
Four Horsemen: Early Metallica song, full speed, crazy riffs!
Harvester of Sorrow: Long intro with awesome riffs, change ups
Creeping Death: Cool change up around 3:30
Battery: Full speed, killer riffs, some change ups... It starts slow, but hold on!
For Whom the Bell Tolls: One of the best intros! Change Ups! Has it All!
    Bonus
No Leaf Clover: Breaks from tradition, but cool in that they play with SF symphony orchestra

New subscriber and I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m a classically trained musician (piano and opera, you can make fun) and people are always shocked that my favorite band of all time is Metallica. I love good music. Watching your reactions to Metallica songs as you hear them for the first time makes me happy. It reminds me of the shy teenager who found solace in their music, who fell in love with each song and album the moment I first heard it. I actually chose Metallica to break down in my music theory classes in college. Their songs are a work of genius. Your channel is a great find. You are articulate and genuine and it makes me wish we were friends in real life! lol I’ll stop here but if you ever get the chance to listen to “Disposable Heroes” off the Master of Muppets album, I’d love to know what you think - talk about an amazing intro that sucks you in! And get that guitar, dude! Music makes life better. Peace and thanks for having such an open mind to experience all genres and give everything a try. 🤘🏻I can even recommend an operatic piece if you’re ever so inclined. 😂

Glad to see people opening their minds to different Genres' of music. No "type casting" because of "colour or Creed". Music is Universal regardless of all else. "NO, Nothing Else Matters"
Kudos to King KTF! just for even doing this. RESPECT!

I was in Atlanta USP, the rockers and hip hop and rappers would constantly blow each other's minds with our covers of nineties circa music, War Pigs was requested much, Highway Star was also popular

This song is so pure and beautiful. The story behind this is bittersweet. The whole album was written after the bassist Cliff Burton died in a accident on their tour bus. This song in particular is a love letter to his memory.

David Stockdale I think that’s a tough one to start with. He should start with something a bit more traditional, and work up to doing Animals as an album, to appreciate the supreme genius that Animals is.

Songs that I would suggest would be sober, stinkfist, eulogy, aenema h.,prison sex, or 46 and 2. Those were like the most played when they came out. The lyrics have different meanings that is otherwise implied, but the instruments are both insane and coordinated. Great band!

For Preston's knowledge: this song was originally written by James Hetfield (singer/rhythm guitarist) for his own personal collection. He thought it would never be accepted by the rest of the band and fans. Kirk Hammett (lead guitarist) told him it was awesome and they should record it for the album, and now here it is. One of Metallica's most classic songs and a classic of metal history overall.

I heard this song was written by James Hatfield for his girlfriend. And at first he was embarrassed to bring it to the band because they didn't do songs like that. When he finally did they liked it and decided to start doing more songs about what they like such as girls and cars ect.

Had so many days where I've had a crap day at work. This song has been on the CD player in the car and when James hetfield shouts yeah! And the guitar solo kicks in, I suddenly feel soooooo much better.
    People should stop doing drugs.
Music is the best drug of them all!!!
