- How to install Auxbeam Switch Panel 8 Gang RGB AR-800 on my 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss. This Switch Panel is more like a Breaker Panel. It cuts On and Off Power for your accessories, but some accessories need an actual Closure to turn them on. I have watched many other RUclips Channels to see if they explained this and they do not which is very disappointing because I thought this would work better for my situation. Well this review explains this panel and the way it actually works. Now, this product is very nice and it seems to be a good quality product, but it does not seem to work the way I need it to work in my case. I hope this install/review helps you decide if this Panel is right for you.

I have that 8 gang switch panel and aside from their power and ground wires it's awesome
I see you connected to headlamp fuse. I just did the same install, unless it’s on a timer but headlamps off, truck locked and my auxbeam still has power. 2024 1500 custom. Does it cut off after a time? I know on a jeep install I had the same issue on a outlet install but after an about 10-15min it cut off…
Niac bro🎉🎉
What’s up bro . Dope video very helpful. Where can I get the mounting bracket you used for your Silverado? I have a 2020 and wanted to do a set up like yours
The mounting bracket comes in the kit for the switch panel.
Do you still have your bull bar hook up to your highbeams and auxbeam. Did you just tap into the old switch part?
Yes, here is the video I did to show how to do it.

Hey Zach , I’m putting Mictuning C3 rock lights on my GMC and I also have the Auxbeam 8 switch panel installed but do I need to cut the relay out of the lights harness before I wire to my Auxbeam?
After looking online, I can't really see how the wiring is cause it is rolled up in the picture. It looks like it has a one position (on/off) switch and then I am guessing the power cable for each light is bundled into that relay. If you cut the relay out, you would have to solder the pod wires back together to the power connections and then it should work with the switch panel by sending power directly to the pods instead of going through the built in switch. Personally, I would leave everything hooked up the way it is, connect the power to the auxbeam switch panel, and just leave the Mictuning switch on all the time. I did not have the option with my lasfit rocklights cause I have a two position switch. (amber/white)
@@zachattackcustoms The switch runs through the relay so just wire it from the relay to the Auxbeam?
No, cause the mictuning switch is not the power connections. It is just a closure. That is the bad thing about all these switch panels labeling themselves as switch panels. The switch panel is technically a breaker panel which is a big difference. I would just hook the positive and negative to the switch panel, and then leave your mictuning switch in the on position all the time.
@@zachattackcustoms Thanks Zach, you’re a great help
Bro! You totally help me out with your review! I was having a hard time finding proper info on the switch panel. I was gonna try to use it to control some aftermarket heated seats. But from what you're saying, they wouldn't work because they would need constant power with a variable switch panel. Thanks for the great review! The other reviews I've been watching. Have been 90% install 10% briefly. Talking about how it turns on some lights. I really appreciated the details you provided!
I actually really appreciate your comment. Unlike other RUclipsrs, I actually try to give everybody the information they actually need. I don’t try to just show off the product. Unfortunately my detailed videos don’t get viewed that well because peoples attention spans are very short. I have actually been thinking about giving up the detailed installs but your comment makes me want to continue. Thanks!
Buy the same panel for my trial boss looks very easy to install. Thanks for the video.
Yes it’s not a bad install, thanks for watching!
Nice review! Much less of a mess than trying to install the GM upfitter switch panel.
Thanks, yea the only reason I would tear my whole dash apart is if I had to replace the heater core. Not going to do that for a couple of switches.
im glad im not the only one who has mounted a switch or panel in the little pocket. I have my ditch lights and lower light bar switches in there hidden
lol, yea I think its the perfect "hidden spot." Mounting on your dash would look kind of weird in my opinion.
@@zachattackcustoms for sure. I’m all about hidden and stealthy installs. Definitely worked out as a great spot for switches
