Just wanted to add on something here; iPhone's Photographic Styles ONLY work with High Efficiency mode if you need to edit them later, they do not appear when you select "Most Compatible" mode. Meaning if you take a picture and you decide to change the photographic style later during editing, you cant do that in the "Most Compatible" format. Just letting know so that people are aware. But really great and concise tutorial Andrew! Subbed!
After seeing your photos in the iPhone review videos last year, I was curious to see your mobile photography process. Props for sharing this tutorial, the photos are stunning cannot believe they're shot on iPhone!
So many useful tips for photography on iPhone, I always just use my phone as a point and shoot camera - there's actually so many more settings and features to play around it to make it look so polished and professional! Thank you for the tips as always, super handy to up my iPhone camera game now 📷
Not saying this because I like your content and channel but these are possibly the cleanest iphone shots I've seen. I almost believed they were Fuji X100VI photos for a second.
Photographic Styles isn’t working for me at all. I see it in a separate area in the main settings for the camera but all I can do is chose which option. It will not allow me to edit the style. When I take photos there’s not an option to edit the style and that icon to edit the style on camera is not there either and looks completely different. Ugh I’m so frustrated. I have high efficiency selected but it’s still not showing up. Is this feature only on the iPhone 16? I have a 15 pro.
anyone using Iphone15pro? can't find the palette and colours and instead of natural, it says standard. also there is no option to adjust tone and colours. 9:55
Don't change your camera to "most compatible", as it will use JPEG for photos and H.264 for videos, both are inferior (in file size and quality) to HEIF and HEVC which are used in "high efficiency"
That is not correct, HEIF has a higher compression than JPEG and you do lose some detail. Most cant tell the difference but HEIF was developed to save space, not increase quality. If storage on your phone is not a concern, most compatible is better
Bro I have problem with my iphone selfie. I use iphone 15 pro max. Whenever I take a selfie it changes the pic right after I take the selfie. It over processes the photo and it looks horrible. I have contacted apple and I have done everything they told, even reset it doesnt work!!! Now I have decided to end the iphone jounrey. I use Mac and ipad. This is my last year. Im switching to samsung soon.
Jpeg max 48 mp and pro raw max upto 48mp are nothing but same ..zoom in and find out the difference Only difference DNg format comes handy when it comes to edit Rest jpeg max 48mp is still similar in terms of details
I was looking for tutorials for taking photos on an iPhone for an upcoming event and this has to be one of the best ones I have watched.

Thank you for this video. Do you recommend taking photo in 4x3 or 16x9 format? I heard 4x3 uses the full sensor without cropping?
Very useful, thank you for sharing👍
Photography!!! These tips really make a difference. Amazing photos btw! 👏
Andrew, the homepage style you ate using on your phone, i would love yo know how you set that up. Please
Do you have to have Live Photo turned on to use the photogenic style when taking the picture with those settings?
Great stuff!
Is it better to have Live Photo on or raw max?

Where did you purchase your iPhone case? Is the “grey stone” color available at the Apple Store?
Great video

Don't change your camera to "most compatible", as it will use JPEG for photos and H.264 for videos, both are inferior (in file size and quality) to HEIF and HEVC which are used in "high efficiency"
Also i think you can’t shoot in cinematic mode or 4k 60fps video.

Presets are not free to download??

I’m having the same problem on my 16 pro and I hate it
ProRaw Format options must be on latest phone only regardless of OS version
16 promax only?
“Didjah nur your iPhone can take photos like this one?” I love your accent. Lol
2:30 you can use Lightroom to capture raw photos on non pro iPhones.
Lightroom probabLy single shot RAW and not multi-frame like proRAW
