I bought the q45s because the one was not yet available in my country for RRP. Best choice I've made in years. But the battery life isn't a gimmick it's accurate and true
Excellent review by the CEO. His pros and cons on Space 1 spot on. I bought the Space 1 in July (so have had it 3 months). I have heard too that the detail on the Q45 is bit better. My Q30 headphones unexpectedly broke this past summer. The Space 1 is really nice for all the basics. The are super comfortable re weight and pads (much more comfortable than Sony 720). The sound quality is really good, especially if you do the hearing test and try multiple eqs(I often use acoustic to boost the mids a bit). The mids sound good, and they have nice punchy bass that sounds good but doesn't overwhelm the music. ANC is very good blocks about 75% of machine noise with a great ambient mode. Do really like how music stops automatically when you remove the headband.
My issue with these headphones is an aesthetic one. These are just too bulky looking for my liking. If it weren’t for that I would cop these in a second. Call me shallow, much? Lol I’m still a Soundcore fanboy though and I appreciate this review/comparison
They look like they might have solved the cracking issue seen in the q30s and q35s (unsure if the q45 have them) due to the new design, but I guess time will tell with that.
I am blind and autistic and use soundcore brand headphones because they are the only kind that meet my needs. I have been using the space Q 45 for several months now almost a year and I have had no issue with them. Up until last night when I noticed that the plastic had broke From what I guess is wearing tears. When I put it on the plastic would pop out and if I keep using them, they could basically fall apart while I’m wearing them. It was on the headband. I didn’t use the case for the headphones because they didn’t fit in the case really at all. Or else if they did, it was not in a way that worked well for me to be able to put them in there because of my physical disabilities/problems due to having autism and being blind. The good thing about the drawstring pouch would be that I would be able to put the headset in easier. That totally helps. I’ll have to see what they have when I go into the store today to purchase my new set, and I hope it goes well I use soundcore for a long time and haven’t had to replace my headphones as often as I have with other brands since starting using them. Amazing headphones and they’re one of the only brands that I would recommend if you’re somebody like me who is blind and autistic and sensory sensitive. the other one I recommend is JBL for ANC. The problem with JBL though is that they are not durable like the soundcore ones are..
Which is better at suppressing hi-frequency noise like: human chatter, crying baby, clattering plates, car-engine sound under acceleration..? Space One or Q45..?
Came across a reddit post with a few people complaining of the headphones being too large and not fitting on the head properly. I have the same issue. Wish i had seen that post before i bought these headphones.
Headphones also have a lifestyle / fashion dimension. Availability of colors and outer design are also things to consider. Thanks for providing independent reviews.
Well said. The headphone is like a pair of glasses. It’s more a fashion item than utility, sometimes. 😅 I like the color of Space One blue. But I don’t get the sound quality of QC45.
@@kevinzou7390 You get the full sound quality if you select ldac mode in both phone and headphones and feed it with a quality flac high res recording. You will hear the difference mostly from unprocessed recordings like jazz, classic, vocal as you will find on qobuz, linn and other hidef portals.
Thanks! great review. i am headed out on a trip tomorrow and I find that my Gen 2 Airpods do not cut the airplane noise enough for me. I will grab a pair and give it a try.
Great video man! I'd love for you to do a comparison with the space ones and the Sony 720 headphones Flossy Carter just came out with a comparison during his review of the space ones and said that there's no contest really when it comes to bass and overall loudness that the space ones sound way too low. I'd love to know what your opinion is. Keep up the great work brother!
if bass is important to you, you should try the Sony WH-XB910N EXTRA BASS. This model doesn´t have LDAC but still the extra bass could be interesting for some people@@metalcrip89
I'm about to buy my first headphones, my budget is under a 100 and every review that I watched said space one are the best. I was set to buy them, now I see Flossy video saying they aren't good and I don't know what to do.
What about the built quality? I've seen on Amazon a few complains about both of these... I'm usually a overthinking person so I would like to get some extra opinions.
Well, you're not really going to find ANC headphones that have really great sound quality as well For under $100 it's either one or the other, but the Space One's have the best ANC under $100 and good quality
Anker are sorta taking the piss. They've always been about releasing affordable yet high quality products, and have always released onr product, then a better one, and so on. However, these headphones are worrying. They're not an upgrade to the Q45s, they're just a cheaper alternative. I bet Anker released them knowing most would assume they're wn upgrade and buy them, idk why they wouldn't at least release a new set of headphones with a lite version.
Thank you for the fantastic review. It's SpaceOne for me because of the modern design and colour option. The difference isn't that much in the area of performance.
This Video and review was fantastic! Everything in my head was answered with a great calm and use of voice. I usually never write reviews.. This time a had to! Thank you!
I love the Q45 and my earlier Q30 however both have broke on the arms in the same place after less then a year of use. Sound quality is good but build and plastic quality does not measure up the same.
I’m on my second pair of Q45s and I will not be buying another pair if they break again. I thought the Space Ones were better but I guess not. I’m definitely looking towards a different brand.
As far as I understand, if you need the best sound - q45. If you want more bells and whistles - space one. Did I understand correctly that the q45s do not pause the music when you take them off?
I am from Iraq. There is a big difference in the price between two headphones in my country. The price of the Q45 headphones is approximately $90 and the Space One headphones are $59. I want to know if there is a difference in the sound because I did not understand the explanation well. I do not understand the language well. Thank you.
Based on some reviews I've seen compareing the both. The Q45 doesn't seem like its worth the price jump. But it does come with a cool case so there''s that.
Space one is a decent option if you want a slimmer form factor, and sleaker look. For some that alone is worth it. Also it's easier to find in multi colors. I get dandruf easily no matter what I do, and black headphones are terrible for me lol.
@@ManuthSL i think its the Q45 for me, its well balanced and mature but lacks some features like hands over left cup to mute and talk. I returned the space one and kept the Q45. and i like the hard carrying case of the Q45
Space Q45. If I'm using custom noise cancellation level 5, would that affect the battery life? Normal use without ANC 65 hours, if I'm using custom noise cancellation, would that be lower than that?
I rarely have the need for using the microphone but since this is a decent product I would like to follow up with a decent question. Would you consider a detachable microphone as it does have an audio port for cord usage for an alternative to the built-in mic? (Assuming the headphones are built with that option.)
I just need a pair of headphones to watch movies or youtube videos on my MacBook as a backup for when my OnePlus Buds Pro 2 cause ear fatigue. I think I might just go with the Space One.
I just got the space ones, I've had the Sony XM4s before but I've returned them since. I really really like the space ones, I'd go as far to say I think they're better. The ANC on the XM4's was way better don't get me wrong, but I like the transparency mode on the Space Ones more, I also really like the fit and really I just couldn't justify spending the $225 on the XM4s, and I got those on sale.
If by similar sounding you mean they both sound bad then yes but you know the mids highs lows on Q45 destroy the lackluster sound of the SpaceOne . ANC is better on SpaceOne And Thats Where It Ends .
hi i would be very grateful if you could tell me if the space one fit tighter ! i got the q45 just now but i am going to return them because they are too loose
Oooh that could be a deal breaker. Do you happen to know what size your head is? 😂. I'm looking to get these for my girlfriend and I'd say she has a smaller head than most men... Do men have bigger heads? 🤔. I guess this is the problem if you can't try on.

Which one is best if we compare this Soundcore space one with Shenhieser hd 450 bt/se anc headphones in perspective of sound quality and in music listening experience?
I owned two soundcore q45 and although it started off nice, both of the headphones plastic cracked apart at the hinges. My conclusion is that the headphone is made of some type of defective plastic. And one of the headphone left speaker stopped working on its own after 2 months. The quality control of the q45 is disappointing
Absolutely concur with this comment . After just four months the headband snapped , the faux leather on the headband and ear cups disintegrated and ended up stuck to my bald head and ears !. Piss poor build quality , I purchased these when they first came out at 139 quid after reading dozens of great reviews , most of which gave top marks for build quality!. To be fair they didn’t feel cheap or too plasticky when I first examined them but like the reviewers I had read , it was a false first impression. Also lots of reviews said these were punching above their price point in terms of sound , they don’t , they sound OK , average for this price. I own lots of SoundCore earbuds and never had any issues but this has put me right off buying their headphones. I have a 6 or 7 year old pair of Sennheiser HD 4.50’s that both sound better and barely show signs of their age. Save your money , till you can afford Sonys , Sennheisers or Bose , you really do get what you pay for !.
Just to say i've just purchased the Space ones for the gym , ive yet to try them. However , i find the sound very loud and not too low at all!! All my devices are android based !! Could this be the reason? Mine out of the box were perfect with a very detailed sound! Maybe if you have an apple device some tweaking is needed . I have for home the latest Bowers and Wilkins headphones they are amazing but too good for the gym. Im hoping these will be a great alternative as they tick every box so far

Had this issue tooo. Just like they dont grip which is awful cuz it hurts the jaw and it doesnt really fit... The q30s were working and q35 were amazing but q45... Makes me so sad. Am gettint thw space one to test soon😊
@@saphyresdarkaine that's quite common sense since their stupid design which every headphone must have the axis adjust to mold into your head/face , not just comfort also affect your ANC performance
@@saphyresdarkaine oh no - this is what i was afraid of - is this jaw pain - i returned mx5 beacuse of this... sad to hear these Q45's also do that... im assuming same issue with space one
Hi ? Which one is the best because I wanna buy one of those, which one do you recommend?
Thankx for the content I really needed this info, I am really into the noise canceling feature, background noise is horrible for me plus at this price point it’s amazing 😊
Thank you for helping me make up my mind. I chose q45 , they’re coming today so I’ll let you know how I feel about them. Keep doing what you doing it’s great. 👍
Hope you they work for you!
I agree I’m sticking with q45 because of great battery life and a hard shell carrying case.
I bought the q45s because the one was not yet available in my country for RRP. Best choice I've made in years. But the battery life isn't a gimmick it's accurate and true
I really appreciate the review this helped a lot to differentiate.
Excellent review, I will go with q45! Thx, best!
Are you able to say how the Space Ones compare to the older Q30 and Q35?
My issue with these headphones is an aesthetic one. These are just too bulky looking for my liking. If it weren’t for that I would cop these in a second. Call me shallow, much? Lol
I’m still a Soundcore fanboy though and I appreciate this review/comparison
No shame in that!
but you don't see them when you are wearing them...
They look like they might have solved the cracking issue seen in the q30s and q35s (unsure if the q45 have them) due to the new design, but I guess time will tell with that.
I have the Q30s, what cracking issue were you referring to? the pads or the plastic parts?
I own the q45 already so I'm just keeping those
bruh in my country right now, they both are at the same price, definitely will go for the q45 🗿
Which is better at suppressing hi-frequency noise like: human chatter, crying baby, clattering plates, car-engine sound under acceleration..?
Space One or Q45..?
Sounds like the 45 are the better purchase
I ended up with the Space one, it's cheaper during sale
Both have similar prices now on Amazon I checked
Será?
@@mdjahin99 Space one is cheaper given promotions
Thank you for another great comparison! 👍
Thanks! great review. i am headed out on a trip tomorrow and I find that my Gen 2 Airpods do not cut the airplane noise enough for me. I will grab a pair and give it a try.
Very good video bro, I was having a hard time with choosing one, but I think the q45 are the winner for me!
I use Space One and it is very good for calls and sound isolation
@@زياد-ه4غ تنصحني آخذ space one ولا q45
Great Vid helped a lot. Mic test made my decision, Q45.thanks mate
Thanks! I'm planning on comparing them.
@@CEONTHEMAKING of course bro keep up the great work bro 😎
@@CEONTHEMAKING awesome I'm looking forward to it
if bass is important to you, you should try the Sony WH-XB910N EXTRA BASS.
Thanks for making this. What other ANC headphones would you recommend for a budget below $100 please? Something with good sound quality?
Well, you're not really going to find ANC headphones that have really great sound quality as well
For under $100 it's either one or the other, but the Space One's have the best ANC under $100 and good quality
The difference isn't that much in the area of performance.
so Space Q45 best, beautiful
Thanks for the review! Looking to upgrade from the q20s… q45 it is
How's the sizing for there? The q45 are a bit big on my head and the arms are a bit long too
I would prefer if soundcore ear ups were the shape of the ear like Bose ear cups are
Facts. Hate that circular part that sticks out beyond the earcup
Great review you covered all the feature areas I was concerned about.
This Video and review was fantastic! Everything in my head was answered with a great calm and use of voice.
I usually never write reviews.. This time a had to!
Thank you!
i was just looking for a budget headphones to use it at the gym, this helped me a lot. Going with the Space One that has a cute beige color.
Thank you that was so helpful to make a decision keep going ma. 🙌🏼
I love the Q45 and my earlier Q30 however both have broke on the arms in the same place after less then a year of use. Sound quality is good but build and plastic quality does not measure up the same.
ok so what I got out of this video is “GET THE Q45!” which is what I would do either way.
Thank you for this video. This is the video I have been looking for.
Q45 seem objectively better but the space ones look clean. On Amazon rn the space ones are 80 buck and the q45 are 90.
Bought my Q45 on sale at around 86USD. Will arrive in a week. Oh yeah!
I’m on my second pair of Q45s and I will not be buying another pair if they break again. I thought the Space Ones were better but I guess not. I’m definitely looking towards a different brand.
As far as I understand, if you need the best sound - q45. If you want more bells and whistles - space one. Did I understand correctly that the q45s do not pause the music when you take them off?
correct
Tbf I'm pretty sure the Q35s are the best for different features and stuff.
Your video was so smooth , straight to business kinda video
Thanks bro
What about the cabin pressure? q45s has a lot of that
I am from Iraq. There is a big difference in the price between two headphones in my country. The price of the Q45 headphones is approximately $90 and the Space One headphones are $59. I want to know if there is a difference in the sound because I did not understand the explanation well. I do not understand the language well. Thank you.
حبي ال 45Q احسن من ناحيه جودة الصوت هو هيج كال
The q45 are a bit better but ill stick with the space one the specs are perfect for me when talking or taking of my headphones
Based on some reviews I've seen compareing the both. The Q45 doesn't seem like its worth the price jump. But it does come with a cool case so there''s that.
Great review! Thanks a bunch.
Who is the best for the sport and the club?
Great review! Do you know if the noise cancellation works while you’re using aux cable?
Space one is a decent option if you want a slimmer form factor, and sleaker look.
For some that alone is worth it. Also it's easier to find in multi colors.
I get dandruf easily no matter what I do, and black headphones are terrible for me lol.
i have both, thanks for the review
@@fmspec can you tell which is one is better according to your experience?
@@ManuthSL i think its the Q45 for me, its well balanced and mature but lacks some features like hands over left cup to mute and talk. I returned the space one and kept the Q45. and i like the hard carrying case of the Q45
Good looking thank you gonna stick with the space one q45 would of been great but on a budget .. under 100 bucks is a steal for almost the same specs
How are the Bass on these? I have the Q30 and I love it. I just wish it had more bass.
The Jack is for the wired cord it comes with
Great review, made my mind up on a purchase
I just need a pair of headphones to watch movies or youtube videos on my MacBook as a backup for when my OnePlus Buds Pro 2 cause ear fatigue. I think I might just go with the Space One.
Space One &Q30 ? Who is the best ?
Appreciate this fam👊
What's the loudest? Thanks
I have heard that the Q45 have better sound isolation, so less sound will get in with the ANC off.
Hi is these good for gym?
thank you, this helps so much!
Also i like the mic quality sound better than the Q45 for some odd reason
@@stuboy13 I dont know my head size but I was never told it's small haha even with motorcycle helmet for example my sister's is too small for me SO I don't have a small head and it was way too big
Great review! I went with the space one on sale
Great review! Lots of info
I just bought them for 50 dollars, I don't know if they fixed something in the update but they have good bass without the app and using the app have more
Do they cause much much pressure on the upper jaw, currently using the Sony xm5s,they’re great but do make my jaw ache after prolonged usage….wondering if these my be a bit kinder and less pressure on the upper jaw, cheers for any response…
Do these stay on your head a good bit? Maybe for gym?
For Music only which one is better? Space One OR Space Q45
Q45
Do both of the headphones work offline or must you be connected to wifi/mobile data to use them?
Which one louder? Or both same
Which one is best if we compare this Soundcore space one with Shenhieser hd 450 bt/se anc headphones in perspective of sound quality and in music listening experience?
go with Sennheiser mate...do your ears a favor don't buy
there's a price difference of 13usd on both of these headphones in my country which should I buy?
Great review! I though these were successors to the Q45.
Not exactly
I owned two soundcore q45 and although it started off nice, both of the headphones plastic cracked apart at the hinges. My conclusion is that the headphone is made of some type of defective plastic. And one of the headphone left speaker stopped working on its own after 2 months. The quality control of the q45 is disappointing
Do they have good bass
I experienced the same thing as far as them Cracking and falling apart in just weeks!! Build quality sucks I'm never buying any Q product again.
@@Jiggy609 go for ch720n if you are a bass head
@@quantumcelt true, although you have to pay 4 times price , but in long term usage it definitely worth it
which one is more good sony ch 720 or jbl tune 760 or soundcore q 45?? Plzzzz
Why is there no chapter for microphone/call quality...??
Did you watch the video?
Just to say i've just purchased the Space ones for the gym , ive yet to try them. However , i find the sound very loud and not too low at all!! All my devices are android based !! Could this be the reason? Mine out of the box were perfect with a very detailed sound! Maybe if you have an apple device some tweaking is needed . I have for home the latest Bowers and Wilkins headphones they are amazing but too good for the gym. Im hoping these will be a great alternative as they tick every box so far
