It's easy to say people post less photos in the feed, but what Mosseri really needs to say is WHY? My conclusion is that people post less in feed because the feed is now mostly filled with ads, sponsored posts and unwanted suggested posts from people we don't follow, not to mention that instagram stopped showing you your followers feed posts due to their forcing of instagram reels down people's throats.

The only reason people started to make videos was out of desperation because they destroyed the reach of photos.
