    The guy that spent 400 is standing behind someone who paid 20 to "skip the line" 🥴 People who use DAS, Lightning lane single pass, lightning lane and the premier pass will all be in same line. What could go wrong?

    At first when you were reading it, I thought "okay like $80. That's a lot, but people will pay it." Then I was like "nah, this is Disney. Their prices are out of control. It's gonna be like $100 or 120." Then you said it's $400 per person per day and I literally SHOUTED "WHAAA HA HAAAAT?????" then sat with my mouth agape for several minutes.

    My jaw dropped when you said $400. Since the current pass is like $25 I was anticipating you saying like $60-$80.

    Let me get this... is this on top of the park ticket? So buy park ticket and, if you want to, but PLL for more than what the park ticket was worth??? Holy moly!

      @veronicameeks9056 6 часов назад +4

      That AND you have to book a deluxe resort stay for the “privilege” of buying the PLL.

      @@veronicameeks9056 considering the prices for nights at some of the deluxe resorts…the pass should be included in the stay

    Why so much more than Universal's Express Pass? For that price it should be unlimited and all parks. Disney just keeps getting more out of touch with the average clientelle.

    Disney has lost their minds!! Along with the people who purchase this insane ride ticket 😂. My husband and I live in Massachusetts we have been going to disney Twice a year since 2002, 12 days each trip. Staying at deluxe resorts. We love Disney. Disney has taken away so much blaming Covid and jacked the prices of everything. It’s no longer worth the money anymore. Our passholder passes just expired Oct 13th. We’re done. Disney doesn’t care about passholders. Just locking everyone in DVC. The crowds are always insane no matter when you go. That would be the day I will pay extra to ride rides. When I miss the parks I will watch one of the many streamers. Great job Ryno!

    I could not believe what they are charging for this new LL service. Looking forward to hearing you discuss this next Tuesday

  • @StripofPaper
    @StripofPaper 8 часов назад +3

    My hypothesis: they started this at such a high price so they can lower it when Epic Universe opens next year and offer a "deal"

  • @thomasbolman375
    @thomasbolman375 9 часов назад +3

    No Ryno, you should knock it. It's not a good thing for Disney or their Theme Park Guests. It will drive down attendance and then the death spiral starts.

  • @LightSparkDaniel

    Honestly the prices do not surprise me. This does make me think the change they made to LL was part of a plan to make that worse so people will pay more for this alternative because my trip I took was earlier this month getting all the LL we wanted was extremely difficult and some we couldn’t even get, a problem we never had under the Genie Plus system.

    I'm planning a short trip for next spring but honestly that will be my last trip for awhile. Thero are too many other places I want to visit and it's become abundantly clear that Disney doesn't care about their guests. My money will be better spent elsewhere.

    I think the premier pass is basically a cheaper option than doing a VIP tour, rather than an enhancement for the ordinary guest using normal lightning lane.

    Everyone seems to bring up that Universal gives their Express Pass Unlimited for their “Premiere” hotels (which I agree is great) but seems to believe that will continue forever. I know though I’m not the only one that is speculating Universal might end this policy once “Epic Universe” opens. The future Helios Grand “Premiere” hotel pointedly does NOT include an Express Pass of any type as a perk. Are we to really believe the other “Premiere” hotels will continue to offer the perk while their (most likely) most expensive hotel does not? It’s possible that it’s just that “Epic Universe” won’t have Express Passes for a period until the newness rush wears off and that’s why they don’t list the Express Pass as a perk for the “Epic Universe” hotel. But, if that’s the case, why wouldn’t they just say “Express Pass Unlimited for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure” as a Helios Grand perk? I’m just saying … it currently looks like Disney is asking a lot more for less than what Universal offers; but everyone kinda predicts what Universal offers is going to change … VERY soon! That said, I don’t see this new Premiere Pass as worth it if they are also going to continue to offer the “LL Multipass” and “Individual LL” as they are now at their current prices. I was at WDW three weeks ago and as a group of seven LL Multipass + Individual LL (Guardians and Avatar) worked fine … we got on every ride … favorites more than once. Ok it was Epcot and Animal Kingdom on Sept weekdays but “Food and Wine.” You likely don’t even need LL Multipass for Animal Kingdom really (but it made it much nicer) but I don’t think you really need the Premiere Pass for either park. Yeah, the “LL Multipass” is a bit complicated and you do use your phone a lot but … here’s a secret benefit no one seems to notice. The scheduling of LLs prevents disagreements. Seven people (including a 5 and 7 year old) and NO disagreements on what to do next. It’s all “This is the time our reservation for this is” and we go do it.

    Yknow this wouldn’t look so scummy if Disney didn’t destroy Das. It’s pricey but it’s just for one day, one park, and you can’t go on the same ride twice plus it’s not included when you’re staying at a deluxe resort. I don’t really care about the price since I’m still boycotting going to Disney while they continue to deny physically disabled guests Das. I know people will still buy this just like they bought that airplane travel package where you visit every Disney theme park and the houses at Golden Oak. I thought I was mostly over the das changes but this is just a twist of the knife. Are the CM going to recommend people buy this when they deny a child with terminal cancer das? Shame on you Disney.

  • @rb5078
    @rb5078 4 часа назад

    It’s not the same as Universal because they only have the one pass (technically two if you count the unlimited as a second pass type). At Disney this pass is less useful because there are still too many people with access to cheaper passes. Meaning you’re still standing in a long Lightning Lane with all the people who bought a Single Pass or Multipass. If Disney eliminated all other passes and just had one expensive pass that very few people would buy, then it would work efficiently like Universal’s does. Perhaps they will phase out the other passes eventually.

    Yes, for resort guests only, which is a very small percentage of park goers at Disney World. We finally get a fast pass, and it only includes certain guests. It's absolutely ridiculous!

    I hope this comment reaches you all so that you can maybe ask around. First, outside of Florida and maybe the east coast or people who always visit Florida, Universal is not a blip on the screen. To say Universal and Disney in the same name with my circle would cause major confusion. My friends and family don't even understand us going to Disney so much. Also, do y'all know what it cost to fly to Florida? $3,000 easy and my family likes to sleep in on vacation. The very first thing my daughter said was, "We can sleep in and still use LL? Sign me up.". We did visit Universal Hollywood and even my 14 yr old son who wants to go to Universal Florida insist he'll only want to be there one day, so why would I book hotel at Universal? None of this is accounting for the price of Epic Universe when it actually drops, but lets not act like they are the same product and are comparable. Please please give actual tourist a moment of thought. We are not in the parks all the time so yes, time is money and I'm willing to pay it. I couldn't be happier Disney is offering this product. Also we are a family of five not ten so the tour thing is out.
