- It works with all kinds of Fibermesh (any profile or segments settings). Hope this helps.

That's by far the best workflow for realistic hair, thank you very much!
You're a wonderful human being. Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for getting me the link to the video, couldn't thank you on Tumbler
That's a amazing script!!!
No puedo creer que esto haya funcionado. Es increíble 😍😍😍
This is fcking great best workflow for realistic hair
Thanks for this!
*GREAT!!!!!!!!!!*
tnx a lot!
Thanks for the vid! Does this transfer the fibermesh color painted in zbrush to Cinema 4D by any chance? If not, is there a way to do that? Cheers
Hi Kerux, that's a very good point to improve this workflow. I can look into this if I got a chance. For now you might need to recolor the hair in c4d.
Does this work on R23? I've been trying to get it to work and all it does is create the hair object but nothing else
Hi! I don't get it, every time I run the script, after that the hair object appears in the object tab, but there is no hair in the viewport itself. Can you please help?
Hi Tonya, which version of cinema 4d are you using?
@@ShawnWang C4D R23
Hi, This doesn't seem to be working for me. The hair appears on the object tab but doesn't show on the viewport. I am currently using C4D R13. could that be the reason or is there anything I could be missing? Please help, I really need this.
hi Obasi, R13 is probably not compatible, you might need at lease R17. Hair system has been updated during these versions.
@@ShawnWangoh ok. Thank you very much for the quick reply. I will try and get a more recent version as soon as possible. Keep up with the good work, man
I am unable to animate my character with this technique. hair does not follow the head. any tips ?
Hi Mathieu, I've noticed it might not update correctly in the viewport but the hair is moving in the render. Have you tried rendering it?
@@ShawnWang thank you for your awnser. The splines does not move with the head when rendering.
Maybe I did something wrong.
Hairs are working well but base are fixed to some green round points. And did find no way to attach them to the mesh surface (as parents to the bone does not work either)
I am thinking to switch to maya, where those things seem way easier 😞
@@MathieuRdngr Sorry I haven't got that far in cinema 4d with hair animation yet. Probably a limitation of this approach. Maya is a good option if need to do character stuff, you have Xgen for hair solution which is pretty robust.
@@ShawnWang After 5 days trying out maya. (very unstable compared to C4D) I got the awnser to my question on youtube ;) ruclips.net/video/yinvhLIuaGE/видео.html
Cheers
not working anymore
