    My daughter had severe bronchitis when she was 5 years old. For months we couldn't figure out what was causing it, the doctor thought she had asthma. I read an article that said dairy can cause respiratory issues. We stopped giving her dairy. BOOOM. No more bronchitis. Dairy is no good.

      Isn't that wild?!?!? That something so heavily marketed can be SO PROBLEMATIC! Bless you guys as parents for following that advice and helping your daughter be relieved from those symptoms. The last time I ate ice cream (2017) my throat closed up....scariest moment of my eating life...so I can relate.

      Dairy is good for the baby cows and the baby cows alone. Human milk wouldn't be suitable for other mammals as well. We must respect all species in their own context, just like Mother Gaia intended us to. 😌🙏🤍

      Animal produce and products are NOT for HUMAN consumption as to why so many hospitals and clinics in America built like it is normal! WE ARE PLANT EATERS ALONG WITH ANIMALS AS ALL BEING A SPECIES THAT PICK UP HABITS FROM ONE ANOTHER! IMAGINE STORES WHERE FRESH AND NOT processed Foods ALLOWED HUMANS TO ENJOY A MORE VIBRANT LIFE AS FREE AS MOTHER EARTH PROVIDES IN HEALTH AS WEALTH WE MUST TAKE BACK OUR RIGHTS WITH REAL NOURISHING FOODS INSTEAD OF low vibrational processed and gmo trash and poisons sitting on shelves that governments provide to depopulate humanity with chemicals and toxins that play off ones emotions AS EMPATHS!
      I met a woman in the store getting WIC baby food being that it was free from the government but could not fathom WHY She did not get some vegetables to steam and blend them but for Generations what is taught being governments give FREE ONLY to keep HUMANS dependable on them and process foods clouds ones judgement/REALITY! People always think the ONLY drugs that exist are in the form that are “illegal” but from a standpoint of foods alcohols and cigarettes ALL being legal with sugar being #1 doctors feed off to keep humans coming back for UNNECESSARY treatments! The oath that doctors and governments take are NOT of GOD AS UNIVERSAL LAW GOVERNS FREE WILL OF THE SOUL CREATING ABUNDANCE AND WEALTH NOT leaving this planet stressed out over endless tides of generational teachings! DIVINE SPIRIT AND OUR DIVINE MOTHER EARTH-GAIA DO NOT PLAY ABOUT HER CHILDREN AS ALL REALMS COME FULL CIRCLE WITH HOW ONE TREATS SELF AND OTHERS AS FAMILY OF THE MOST HIGH!

    Are we able to substitute the almond meal/almond milk for something else in the case of nut allergies?

    • @TheMindfulPlate
      @TheMindfulPlate  2 года назад +4

      Hey. I've never tried it without this, as the almond meal is crucial in giving the butter a full body mouthfeel. The almond milk could be substituted for another non-nut milk, however that would still leave the almond meal part. Considering that the almond meal is in a small amount, you may be able to sub it with something like a grain flour (that you're not allergic to) and use a non-nut milk and see what happens. I've never done it, but if you're willing to experiment you may find something that works!

      A Food processor won’t yield the creamy texture. Things won’t blend the way needed. You really need a blender for this particular recipe. I’d suggest borrowing one and making several batches at a time….Freezing them and grabbing what you need as you go along.

    Is almond flour the same as almond meal??

    • @TheMindfulPlate
      @TheMindfulPlate  2 года назад +2

      Almost. Some folks use them interchangeably. However if you look closely, almond meal is grainier and usually browner than almond flour. Almond flour is a bit more refined (like flour) and usually pale in color. If you use almond meal, you may find that you have a grainier and browner butter. So I specifically use the almond flour in this recipe because it contributes to a smooth yet solid butter with a great color. Great question, I'm sure others may have this question as well!

    Dairy really is the devil! I’ve only been plant based a few weeks now & I checked to see what my limitations were with dairy and decided to try a piece of cheese. I damn near had an asthma attack. Within 10 mins I started sneezing really bad, became super congested and could barely breathe and started wheezing. I had to use my mamas inhaler! It’s sooo crazy!

      Lol it’s wild how dairy can affect some people! So glad you took the leap and decided to try life without dairy! As someone who has learned to make cheese, creamy sauces, butter, milks, ice cream and yogurt without 🐮 dairy I can tell you that there’s good eating on this side too!!!! Enjoy it 😊

    Made vegan butter from other recipe before that calls for sunflower lechitin, it didn’t taste great. The lechitin is too overpowering and that’s all I could taste in that butter.
    Your vegan butter on the other hand tastes so good, I’m pleasently surprised. Very close to the real thing, oh my! Thank you for sharing.🌷

      Thanks for sharing! It makes me happy that you also taste the “real butter” taste! It’s one thing for me to say it but it’s better when viewers like you can second that! As far as the lecithin, it’s ideal to hold it and keep it solid. Perhaps that other recipe used more in proportion to what was there. Glad this recipe worked out for you!

    I avoid soy. And I am very careful about eating foods that raise estrogen, such as, soy, almonds, flax, pumpkin seeds. This is a first half of my cycle recipe. Eating this in my second half would cause estrogen to be too high away from progesterone. Just a caution for anyone dealing with low progesterone or estrogen dominance.

    Darn, Dr. Sebi says almonds are fake and hybrid man made. But it does look delicious

    • @TheMindfulPlate
      @TheMindfulPlate  8 месяцев назад

      I hear what Dr. Sebi says and I respect a lot of it. AND no one is more of an expert in your body than you. The real question is how do you feel after you eat almonds? Does your body give you any sensory feedback after you’ve ingested and digested them? That’s who you should really listen to- your body. Every one else (including me and Dr. Sebi are just guidelines).

    Dairy is bad for periods. It should be a crime to sell those

    • @TheMindfulPlate
      @TheMindfulPlate  11 месяцев назад +4

      Yep! Periods. PCOS. Endometriosis. Fibroids. Wombs all together! We have to be more mindful and stop buying them. If there’s no market who will buy, companies will be forced to change their policies and stop selling. We also need to stop giving them to babies! Mother’s milk is the best option, not cows.

    Sorry, but Himalayan "pink salt" is an overprice, enormous scam. The color comes from trace minerals that are so scanty, that they have absolutely no health benefit...and, in any blind taste test, no effect whatsoever on taste. In fact, no premium salt can be differentiated from any other based on its color. In fact, some salts...like black salt...are colored by clay contents, which doesn't dissolve and has no taste. What does have an effect on taste is the size & shape of the salt grains. But, when dissolved in water or added to a recipe, there is absolutely no taste difference for the same WEIGHT of any salt. (...though, grain size or shape will change how much weight is in a volume...say, a teaspoon...of different salts). Hence, the biggest scam is the people are paying $5 or $15 or more for a pound of salt.
