Hey ..Another great video. We took more-or-less the same tour a few years ago but, I left my Gimbal Video thing in a restaurant near the Book of Kells so, no video ....Thanks for covering for us. (Yes, we got the camera back when we returned to Dublin). I note yur tour guide mentined that the Cliffs can get kind of sketchy. In fact, the day we were to visit (at the tail end of a hurricane) a woman and her camper were blown off te road and she suffered fatal injuries. Instead we visted a sheep farm and were amazed how the dogs ruled the place...seriously a highlight. Lasting impression: Ireland was much more prosperous appearing than I expected.. Thanks again!

I was in Ireland for 15 days, I didn't scratch the surface while in Killarney, thank you for this video, my trip was a guided tour of the entire country, I would've skipped Waterford and Ballyhooly and stayed in Killarney longer if I had a choice.
I hear you, we need to go back for sure and spend some more time "digging in".

I hate when people complain on foreign people that don't pronounce Irish names or places. These same people can't pronounce places here in main land Europe.
We did gate 1.I was exhausting to me.We saw a lot but it was a lot ofblong traveling some days more on the bus than anything else and not enough time in an area to really explore. You're also up very early to shower pack eat and back on the bus. For first timer you do cover a lot of the tourist areas.But you can get an idea where to go and spend more time in an area or do something you didn't get to do like maybe check out an island or town you didn't get to see next time.
I agree that its not the most relaxing of vacations! We use these as "teasers" to figure out where we might want to come back to to spend more time.
WE ARE DOING THE 9 DAY CLASSIC IRELAND WITH GATE 1 NEXT MONTH WE CANT WAIT, WE ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT TIME WITH THEM THIS WILL BE OUR 4TH AND OUR 5TH IS BOOKED FOR AUGUST.

Hi, is Gate 1 worth booking vacation travel packages with? My first time traveling, and I looked over their website and is interested and booking but wabted to find a honest review before booking.
For sure. We've been on a few different trips with them and have had a great time each time.
I'm planning a trip to Scotland and see that Gate 1 has a good deal. I was wondering if they give you some freedom in the Irish countryside to wander off on a hike or two?
I'd look at the itinerary on the website for the trip you're looking at. It's not uncommon to get a half day of free time. You can also skip certain things if you'd rather go do something else - pretty open format (so long as you make the bus time)
Could have been a great video if there had not been cursing.
Then don't go to Ireland because they have a colorful language that doesn't mean the same as in the USA. I don't get upset about what people say only what they do. You will miss out on friendly, funny people and culture. Step out of the box
