Saw (and heard) Voces 8 last night in a little theatre in Monmouth, Wales. Excellent evening of beautiful music. The group members were all very engaging with the audience. Fantastic night!
This beautiful hymn Is sing at the end of the day and with this we pray tò the Creatore because il takes away night terrors. Voces8 does It perfectly and their Angeliche Voices prepare us for a peaceful night where We can meet those We have lost. Grazie ❤

Is this unplugged? How much electronic remastering is involved afterward (because they are standing here in a obviously not so spacious room with parquet floor and walls not matching the sound of gothic cathedrals stone halls. The result is somewhat to perfect to be true....
The VOCES8 Centre is a Christopher Wren Church. It has a beautiful acoustic, you should come and experience it. This video is recorded with a pair of Neumann KK133 mics, then it just has the low end rolled off to remove rumble from the city traffic, and a tiny amount of compression.
Magnificent! I would love to listen to some pieces of music by Thomas Luis da Victoria and Jacobus Gallus. You guys have perfect voces for those authors.
