- Punjabi is the tenth largest language of the world with around 125 million speakers. Due to such diversity, Punjabi has a large number of accent/dialects or 'lehjay' that are being spoken around the lenhnda and charhda Punjab.
Majhi, Doabi, and Malwai dialects are categorized as standard Punjabi since they are spoken by the majority and also very near to the original Punjabi. Majhi is common in Pakistan, while Malawi is common in Indian Punjab. Doabi accent is called Faisalabadi Punjabi. Potohari is being spoken in the Rawalpindi division. Changvi and Jangli is spoken in Jhang and Okara district. Shahpuri is common in Sargodha
Dogri, Hindko, and Siraiki dialects are classified as separate languages in Pakistan.

I speak the malwai dialect but I love some of the words that are used in other dialects. Such as using 'haiਠan' instead of using thale or ninva for the word down.

Um Pahari is not only Punjabi but its a group of languages spoken in the hilly regions which consists
Potwari Punjabi
Dogri from Jammu
Kashmiri
Bilaspuri from Himachal Pradesh
Garwali from Uttarakhand
Etc.
Kashmiri language isn't a Pahari language. It is totally different and doesn't even fall in the same category rather it falls into Dardic language group which consists of languages like Shina, Chitrali, Kohistani etc. Kashmiri has little similarities with Pahari or Punjabi. I am sure if you listen to it you won't understand anything.
Plus Himachali Pahari, Kumaoni, Garhwali, Baderwahi along with Nepali belong to Northern Indo-Aryan and are different from Pahari-Potwari spoken in Northern Pakistan & some parts of Jammu & Kashmir. Pahari-Potwari belongs to Northwestern Indo-Aryan along with Punjabi, Saraiki, Hindko, Sindhi etc. Although they often use the same name i.e Pahari however they are different linguistically.
Dogri is in the middle of Punjabi, Pahari & Himachali Pahari which itself includes many different languages of Himachal Pradesh.
