This one was a pleasant surprise, Erika... By the middle of the video, you actually broke character and your laughs and smiles became genuine! It's kind of amazing how a cool dog like Kiwi can add some happy bits into a life that's mostly got you in the weeds. Her water antics, both with and without the lifejacket, had me cracking up! I'm not picking on you, btw. I have a self-deprecating and moderately sardonic sense of humor that's been noticed by others at times. It's sortuva natural part of me that's probably more pronounced when I'm going through difficult spots in life (which has been a lot too much lately).

I wanted to learn my dog swim for so long now, I kinda given up because he weirdo but maybe this is a sine to try again 😊. He is afraid of the sounds of the waves 🌊 , your dog is more braver then my weirdo.
Kiwi will sleep good that night. I had two keeshonds. One would freeze the moment her chest hit the water, the other would take off like a bullet into the lake. That one I had to buy a vest, the I had no fear of her drowning. Their sense of smell is way better than ours. This was probably sensory overload for her. It was good to see you having a great day. I’ve never considered non swimming dog breeds thinking probably small waves would be overwhelming for chihuahuas and poodles might be hard to entice into the water whoa yeah - of course big cats in the wild often swim yet domesticated cats usually don’t so I guess I should have realized the diversity - sad that it is hard/impossible to arrange regularly a dog hanging out with others in similar breeds in particular!?
