    Sincere and determined people need truthful information and a good plan to escape the cycle and hole you are in. Incredible marriages ARE possible. They are achieved by:
    1. Learning about the mind and mastering it so your changes are permanent and you are always growing.
    2. Learning how to behave, and not behave in marriage friendly ways
    3. Making unconditional love and ever-expanding happiness your primary and constant mission.
    Go to themarriagefoundation.org and get the course if you need it. Now is not the time to experiment. It is the time for positive action.

    Do they love unconditionally in return? There are people that no matter what you do they will always be who they are. It is so hard to be in a relationship where you no longer who you are.

    • @TheMarriageFoundation

      The whole purpose of learning to love unconditionally is "selfish" because it brings tremendous rewards, but not from others. It is the true self-fulfilment we all seek.

      As difficult as it might be to step out emotional outrage and humiliation it is what one must do to progress. I don't condone cheating on any level but we want a great marriage not a condemnation and you cannot have both

    My husband keeps on cheating on me and everytime I forgive him and I take him back so easily. This time I wonder that maybe I should just leave because it felt like he just do what he wants because he can. He never felt the consequence of his actions. Im really confused. He knows I love him a lot but when do you set boundaries? How will he understand that what he was doing isnt ok and is deeply hurtful?

    • @TheMarriageFoundation

      Setting boundaries on unconditional love is not what we teach. Nor do we teach expectations of others. Learn to love, unconditionally.

If she wanted to leave she wouldn't be seeking videos and asking questions. Most people and media would tell her to leave. She can find that advice anywhere. She seemed like she was seeking advice to attempt to make her marriage work. Not all marriages can be saved but doesn't mean she should give up if she wants it to work without trying to make it work. I don't know if her marriage worked but she seems to have found some peace within herself ,which is never a bad thing.

    • @TheMarriageFoundation
      @TheMarriageFoundation  Год назад +4

      I am glad you asked because the concept of unconditional love is so misunderstood and most people think they do indeed love their partner unconditionally,, and are trying to demonstarte their love, but are not.
      The easiest "tests" are 1. You never feel resentment or disappointment because of his errors... because your love for him is greater than those.
      2. You are swimming in joy regardless of anything in your outer world.
      Learning to love unconditionally is a path, a process, and heals your connection.

    I may be wrong but seems like what some commenters are overlooking is this is for people who want their marriage to work. Not ones who have given up. If both have given up then it probably can't be helped at least not by one video. If only one has given up the other can still do the work to fix it. Not all marriages can be fixed. I've never seen the claim by anyone but many can and don't need to end in divorce. If you're watching a video to find out how to Make your marriage work then you haven't given up. If you're watching a video to find ammo against your spouse and proof you're right and he is wrong then it probably isn't going to help. Again, I may be off base on all or some of my statements. I'm certainly not a counselor nor an expert in anything.

      Please correct me if I’m wrong. When someone cheats, aren’t they demanding the end to the relationship? If someone is aware that infidelity will ruin their relationship, then cheating is someone making a series of conscious decisions to betray their spouse. At that point they have decided that after careful consideration that cheating is definitely worth risking the relationship. That said, should everyone involved seek to terminate the relationship?

    • @TheMarriageFoundation
      @TheMarriageFoundation  4 месяца назад +1

      People are not so strategic. We all act mostly out of habit and "go with the flow". What they are 'saying' is "I'm not getting my needs met" and so I am desperately seeking elsewhere. Learn to love, unconditionally! Get the marriage help course so your efforts are effective.
