You can notice the diffrence in Camera quality when the newest WRX appeared. The camera quality during the older Subarus is so nostalgic even tho I wasn't even alive back then until the Hawkeye rolled around.

It's kinda like a tomatoes/toematoes thing. The original STI's are based on the Impreza platform (1992-2012 iirc) so they used to be technically "Subura Impreza WRX STI" but later on Subaru made the WRX kind of its own car to differentiate from the base model (family car basically) Impreza. Nowadays, an STI is technically a Subaru WRX STI, without the impreza name. But when the STI was being raced for rally for a long time it was based heavily on the base model Impreza WRX so you could call it a Subaru Impreza WRX STI since there was also the Subaru Impreza WRX before they started tuning the STI to be much more performance oriented. It's a really dumb naming convention but it kinda makes sense when you take into account homologation rules for the WRC.
