Steambots getting half exp when scrapped instead of none was a nice change.
I'm hoping the boat upgrading and overworld traversal is important and not just some side gimmick.
Enjoyed SteamWorld Dig 1/2 and previous Heist, not sure how this will tie into the story. Water went from scarce in space to abundant, but now it's being threatened. Most likely by oil or maybe nuclear waste? Would be nice to see a tie into the previous story but I'm not holding my breath. Might be one of the last good games SteamWorld series brings out.

I love every single Steamworld game. Every single genre they try, they crush it. Digging exploration, tactical 2D turn-based, even deck-building RPG. All gold.
As long as there's no they/them crap in it, I'm buying this at launch.
