Man I went on a first date with my fiance to see this and he absolutely fell in love seeing me geek the f*ck out over this film. My Granny raised me on the OG kaiju films and it was like being a kid all over again
"If y'all would show up for all 40 Godzilla movies, we would react to all of them." Don't worry, there are only 38 Godzilla movies. And as someone who loves both Godzilla and this channel, of course I'll show up for all of them.
Godzilla's roar is 174 decibels in this universe. It can be heard up to 3 miles away. You have to be at least a half a mile away so it won't damage your hearing. If you're standing next to him, you could die or at the very least have permanent hearing loss and brain trauma.
Hey there! So far this has been the worst year of my life. My best friend (my older sister) passed away very very unexpectedly about 7 weeks ago and finding your reaction videos is the only laughter I have found since then. I thank you and love you for that. God bless you.
LOVE THIS MOVIE! I saw this in the theater with my brother and we loved it! I liked the exposition on Godzilla, who he is, what he is, where he came from, and why he is here as well as exploring the mythology of the Kaiju.
@JL 44:00 Yup that was my reaction in the theater :D. i never thought Id see a good Western made Godzilla until this hit. Thank you to your amazing editor, your patrons and of course your wonderful sense of humor and emotional integrity :)
“Because what’s really happening is that you’re hiding something out there there. I’m right aren’t I? My wife died here! Something killed my wife. And I have a right to know!” “It’s gonna send us back to the Stone Age!!” I absolutely adore this movie and it was my first Godzilla movie I seen in theatres and I am a massive Godzilla fan, but I love King Kong as well. 💪🏽🦍💯
Dude, you mimicked the atomic breathe charge up Godzilla does perfectly!!!, I swear,..and yess,.it's so cool, I so love the gradual charge up, it's kinda an anticipation thing, knowing that Godzilla breathes fire, atomic breath, it's just gets you pumped up, cause you know he's about to fry somebody, I so love that sound, how they reimagined him, and gave the charge up it's own sound, aside from his roar, in the old days, he just did it, there was showing the gradual charge, his tail, and the spikes on his back lighting up, but the sound wasn't there, not like they've done it here,..the hue is about the same, but more texture, more detail,.......and you cracked me up when you said he was too rough on female MUTO, hmmpf breathing hot fire down her throat, but see that's what I like about these monsters, the way they are characterized, they're not just stupid mindless animals, when Godzilla, as Pat Benatar sang, hit the female with his best shot, and it only pushed her down, but didn't keep her down, and he saw he had to change his game plan,..the MUTOS, like him have a tough hide,..I think they all do, they all feed off radiation,..probably makes for tough skin, muscle, huh, that's why bullets, even rounds from a tank, or rocket launcher, really does little to no harm at all, and your reaction to the massive explosions they showed at the beginning of the movie,..real footage of nukes detonated, first time I saw old footage like that years ago, had the same reaction,..and aside from the terrible nukes unleashed on Nagasaki, Hiroshima,..so many, so many, and for so long decades even after those attacks were detonated, testing, and more testing, it's hard to believe, just us the U.S.alone, other countries yess too, but just the testing we did, kept testing, detonating,..there are islands that are off limits now, because of that, and I know it was to improve I guess on their design, make them more efficient, but it was just done so much, too much, it really makes you wonder, if creatures some where have been effected, that scene where Ford and his dad go back, and run into the wild dogs, (which I think in all honesty were domesticated dogs, that were just left behind by owners in the rush to evacuate), decades later after Chernobyl, it was found, that wolves were roaming around the area that was suppose to be uninhabitable, for any living thing,..and it's funny, the Godzilla 1998 movie,(not as good as other Godzilla movies, didn't like that it wasn't the traditional Godzilla, but maybe it could be looked at as him in a pre transformation, cause he has had many)that the same theme was touched on when Matthew Broderick's character, a scientist, goes to Chernobyl site, and finds earthworms, are thriving in the soil, that's supposedly irradiated,..it just makes you think, gives pause,..your doggy on the bed is such a sweetie,..at some point in the movie, he is so lovingly watching you, so sweet,..do keep going, and do keep including them in your movie witching, just love it,..Godspeed, Peace ✌, welcome to the monsterverse!!, enjoy!!
@1:47 I know I would. Given your reactions to things like Kane's corpse being shot out into space in "Alien" , Kenny's death in "RoboCop", and Batman killing in the Tim Burton films, I bet your reaction to certain things in " Vs. Monster Zero", "Vs. Hedorah", "Vs. Megalon", "Vs. Megaguirus", and really anything in "Son of Godzilla" and "Final Wars" would be *_golden_*!
Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen were so wooden throughout this movie. You think they would’ve tried harder given how stellar of an actor Bryan Cranston is. Great talent can only elevate others so much, they gotta be willing to let their ego go and actually act.
STARTING THE MONSTERVERSE!!! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw this on the Patreon!!!! This is an amazing reaction!
The MUTOs are hands-down one of my all-time villain. They're design was awesome, their physiology was great, and they were very worthy foes to Godzilla
While I enjoy Zilla's design, only getting one decent fight was kind of a let down. I show up to a kaiju feature for the monster fights and destruction, so having them cut away was getting on my nerves by the end.
Notice G-Man only got active and busted thru the bridge soon as he got hit in his gills. He was chilling taking them hits betchu he was gonna walk around. But yeah watching this in theatres his roar. The mutos sound effects. Godzillas atomic breathe powering up 🤌 and the kiss of death 🍳 👨🍳

That’s a great point about wasting bullets. We already had to invent a thing called an elephant gun because even elephants are too damned big to take down with regular guns. _Maybe_ getting the whole-ass army together and unloading ten thousand rounds into a kaiju will make a difference, but this handful of soldiers bullshit? Hell no.
The real army wouldn't send ground troops to attack the monster, they instead would use them to evacuate everyone in the area in order to use larger ordinance.
I'm here for all the Godzilla. Minus One is amazing. Best movie I've seen in the theater since Lord of the Rings. Also, it would be funny to watch the '98 Godzilla, which is a movie I actually like. lol.
Late reaction but so happy you’re reacting to the Monsterverse I really like this movie but I can’t wait for you to watch Godzilla King of the Monsters you can definitely tell the Director was a fan of the OG Godzilla movies.
Hearing Godzilla's roar on cinema speakers was unforgettable!
That would rock
And it got louder and louder, awesome!
Lifetime remembrance. Amazing experience.
Yoooo that's a memory I completely forgot about, it was sick
His roar in the theater for minus 1 nothing like it
"How the fuck are you gonna tell me there is a flying earthquake?"
🤣🤣🤣
The look on Jay's face when Godzilla did his kiss of death move was priceless.
Golden silence. Was not disappointed lol.

Me too

Great reaction! Thanks again! Godzilla vs Kong is a must!
OMG YESSSS!
I can't wait for you to watch all the monster movies
and please watch more godzilla movies :)
Thanks Blank :)
