Thanks to Gary for our personalized discount code: OLDMANROBYT

You can also watch his installation guide for the Vader 4 here:

A quick disclaimer - this video was not sponsored in any way. I paid full price for my controller, and for the Vader 4 mod...but in both cases I had an opportunity to get discounts for the community after purchasing, so just wanted to provide these for you guys. I get exactly $0 from any sales or uses of these codes, just want you guys to have them. Thanks for all of the support! - Игры
So the amazon price/sale changed sometime in the last like 6 hours...but our discount code still stacks, and I'm pretty sure its actually even cheaper now...
Could you please review the 8Bitdo SN30Pro Hall Effect version, the most recent one? Thanks.
I ordered x10, since it's Dpad and the face buttons are relatively better and feels more mechanical than x20. I hope it's really good.
@@stranger16luis71 I haven’t tried the X10. I went with the X20 just based on the extra features. Hope it works for you!
Great review as always. Thanks for the shout out about the back paddles. I’ve picked up one of these, it arrives in a a week. I’ll have a go at making some paddles for it.
@@BouncingBallGames awesome, thank you!!!
I received this controller yesterday, ordered it from the Easysmx website and waited roughly 10 day's for delivery (I'm from the UK). I also have the X10 which is a great controller so when i saw the X20 i hoped it was the X10 on steroids and boy oh boy. The X20 is absolutely badass 😎
How's the build quality compared to x10?
@rifathossain8940 Compared to the X10, the X20 is definitely worth having. The build quality is good on both controllers. I still feel the hall sticks are better on the X10 though. However now that I've had the X20 this long I can now tell you that what ever material was used to make the X20 does lose colour in a bad way where the palm of your hand holds the controller. I now only use the X20 when it's dark. I hope this helps bro.
Ordered one, just waiting for it to arrive
Trigger stops and an adjustable height thumb stick??? Back buttons!!! Not gonna lie I’m impressed.
@@straightouttacompton873 yeah, I really am too for the price.
Nice used the code came out to like $28. I really like the X10 for the light trigger tension and buttons. I love the Flydigi back button layout. With both of those considerations I'm excited to try this out.
@@goobatroopa_ I’m happy that someone, anyone, got to use the code! First time I’ve had anything like that to give back to my audience!
I said it in the video, but it’s just hard to imagine a better deal at that price. $28 is like what you spend on a generic Switch controller at Walmart or something, but this is a full fledged pro controller with lots of bells and whistles.
@@OldManRob13 Totally agree with you. I have a cheap beater BinBok generic switch controller that's $20. While the ergonomics are good the rest is very cheap. I'll hand that to any dorito finger lickers during couch coop lol. For $8 - $10 more to get the x20 with so many premium features is wild.
I was also able to snag the Direwolf 2 and Easysmx x10 for $30ish each. It will be nice to be able to hand my friends actually nice controllers when they come over without having had to pay nearly twice the amount.
Wow the rbg is nice
@@xolife7244 First AND second!
Not a bad price. $10 cheaper than the gamesir g7 se for $38 I have waiting to be picked up at best buy. Should I get this instead?
I love my SE but this has lot of features….having not used it personally I can’t say myself. Just wanted to express my SE love hahah
@@zerorequiem42 I’m reluctant to say its BETTER than the SE, just because I’ve put hundreds of hours into that controller and have had no issues, so I just don’t know if the EasySMX will be as durable…but if I were hopping on to play right now, with both controllers sitting in front of me…I’m picking up the X20, cause it does more of the things I want - mechanical face buttons and trigger stops, and 4 rear buttons.
@@straightouttacompton873 Thanks, that does help
@@OldManRob13 Yeah, longevity is important. I think I will try both first and then decide. Returning the one that is worse to me. If those mechanical buttons feel as amazing as they seem, I'll probably go with the easy smx.
@@OldManRob13 So I got in the easySMX and it feels pretty good so far. I did not get a wireless dongle in the box tho, just an empty spot.
Very nice for the discount price. I got mine a couple days ago. Unfortunately the Gyro is garbage. Unusable. Zero fine movement, so what’s the point?
Sorry, thats unfortunate to hear. I don't use gyro at all, so something I've never really tested, but maybe I should teach myself to do that. Any recommendations for games to use for testing gyro?
@@OldManRob13 - I'd suggest browsing through some of the vids from www.youtube.com/@FlickStickVids I personally don't play any games with built-in gyro compatibilty and rely on being able to use Steam Input or the controller's own settings to add gyro in games like Skyrim, mostly for aiming (e.g. aiming a bow, which is difficult with the stick).
Between x10 and x20, which one should we choose, in your opinion?
I have both and here is my personal opinion: if you want the controller mainly for fighting games go for X10 the d-pad is way better than the X20, if you dont really care about the d-pad and use joystick instead go for X20. both controllers are very good
@@MMH94MMH Hey man thanks for the suggestion. One thing, I mainly play online multiplayer games, mainly Rocket League. So, basically, the analogue sticks needs to be smooth and the ABXY buttons needs to be pressed quickly. So, with this info in hand, since you have both, which one is better in your opinion? (I don't care much about the dpad cause I don't play fighting games)
I am asking cause some previous hall effect controllers had buttons that had to push down longer for it to register, therefore games where you had to press buttons quickly, it was difficult to do so.
Also, someone had said that his x20 analogue sticks had bad snapbacks. Did you face such issues?
Your input will be greatly appreciated.
@@stranger16luis71 The sticks on both are great, but if you don't really care about the D-pad, go for the X20-it's cheaper, has 4 macro buttons instead of 2, and lets you adjust the triggers and RGB lights. For your information, the joysticks on the X20 are detachable, but that doesn't mean they'll fall off. I haven't had any issues with them.

the only one bad thing about this controller imo is the d-pad it feels weird and for fighting games u may miss a lot of inputs.
Could you do me a favor and test the gyro in "gyro to mouse" mode in Steam input? I asked an employee and they said that the gyro works on Steam (in Switch mode) but also said to select the gyro JOYSTICK option. And all of the info I see online only mentions gyro being bound to the joysticks. sooooo I am unsure if the gyro is permanently locked to its joysticks
basically gyro to mouse turns the controller into a mouse which is how I compete competitively in shooters
Great review does this work with cod mobile on android phone and xbox game pass, also has anyone use it on a firestick
@@edcoombes4211 Thank you!
I’m on iPhone, so haven’t tested with an android, but the controller pairs to my iPhone/ipad, and no issues with gamepass cloud gaming, if that’s what you’re referring to.
No idea on fire tv stick. I haven’t messed around with the fire tv gaming stuff at all.
@@OldManRob13 thank you gamepass is now on the new firesticks currently using a standard Xbox controller
If it had a PC software to customize the controller's setting, it would be perfect.
@@dertodyami yeah, kinda odd that it doesn’t, considering how much customization you can do. I’m glad there’s a manual recalibration option though. I didn’t need to use it, but I’ve had plenty of controllers in the past that I felt were kinda ruined by the lack of that option.
Does the gyro work on Nintendo Switch mode on Steam?
@@LucasNz_ it’s supposed to, but I haven’t tested it, sorry.
this vs gamesir quality and performance aim sticks etc?
@@stevensv4864
The hall sticks feel very good - responsive and consistent. I’m still a little on the fence as to whether they feel as good as GameSir’s, but that might be due to a lot more time played on GameSir controllers.
It’s hard to compare overall quality because I’ve only had this controller for a little over a week, whereas I have hundreds of hours in my GameSir SE, and still no issues with it.
If I’m sitting down to play right this moment, I’m picking the X20 due to so many advantages in terms of features, but long term it’s just hard to know if it will stack up to a GameSir, just in terms of durability.
@@OldManRob13 hey nice and tmr sticks feel the best overall ?
@@stevensv4864 Hey man -not sure if you're referring to this review or not, but the X20 doesn't have TMR sticks, just standard Hall Effect. The only controller I've tested with TMR sticks is the GameSir Tarantula Pro, and they feel great, but I think it probably depends on the controller. Tarantula Pro with TMR feels about on par with the Vader 4 Pro to me, which does not have TMR sticks...so hard to say if TMR overall is as good/better than Hall Effect sticks, probably won't know until I'm able to try a few more.
@@OldManRob13 i was refering this VS t3pro.. man then TMR sticks feel same and not an upgrade?
Bigbig won Blitz 2 Will hace TMR and they advertirse like hall effect 2.0
@@stevensv4864 Oh gotcha, sorry. I do think the T3 sticks feel better than my other GameSir's, just not better than the Vader 4.
My Blitz 2 is allegedly on the way, so will have a review of that ASAP. Also supposedly 2000hz wired and wireless, so can't wait to test that out!

First
I ordered this sh!t for $50 bucks and it still won't get to me for a week. I feel almost ripped off lol. Tempted to return and reorder from Amazon. How petty is that? 🫤
Ha, I understand the temptation! I ordered mine directly from EasySMS, prior to the US launch, so I paid full price myself!
It’s still a good deal at $50, but it’s always nice to get a better deal!
